Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying
I've been Googling protein this evening as now worried I'm not eating enough 😂 I'm not veggie though and eat a lot of chicken and dairy. Think I really should start eating breakfast though, I normally skip it in the week.

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/02/2021 21:40

@Narwhal88 haha 😂 you should be good with chicken! Try fruit for breakfast if you don't usually eat it. Even just a banana would do it. 👍🏾

Taking my seat for the new ride 🚌

crazycatlady1981 · 24/02/2021 22:05

@notyetamumbuttrying yay! Taking my seat on the bus with a handbag full of nuts and chia seeds!! 😋

@ACMJ congratulations!!

Marvellouslymadmum · 24/02/2021 22:09

Woohoo jumping on the bus! I rarely eat breakfast @Narwhal88 if I have anything it's a banana.

Just wondering, I've always thought if my cycles as 'fairly regular' however I've just had a look on my many apps and now I'm not so sure - would you say this counts as regular, irregular or in the middle?
2020 - Jan 28, feb 27, mar 29, apr 24, may 28, June 26, July 29, aug 27, sept 26, Oct 30, oct again 25, nov 31 then pg and mc in dec & jan and 24 was the last one 🤔

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/02/2021 22:16

@crazycatlady1981 nuts and chia seeds are what it's all about 😂
@Marvellouslymadmum regular is between 21-35 days so you would fall under that still. Just not very consistent with length is all. Something to mention should you speak to a fertility nurse or dr. I know a MC can make your cycles go awry for a while.

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 24/02/2021 22:23

@notyetamumbuttrying that sounds about right to me. Yeah my first mc was in 2017 then second was jan 2021 so those cycles shouldn't have been effected. The 2019 are similar too 27,29,29,31,20,25,30,31,27,66,23,25 maybe I'm just all over the place lol will def mention it to the doc or someone when I eventually get referred

Annny27 · 24/02/2021 22:24

Marling my place 🤗 protein gains here we come 🤪🤪🤪

Thanks @@notyetamumbuttrying xx

@acmj congrats lovely!! What amazing news :D

P.s cd8 and haven't dtd yet - will have to tomorrow!

PeanutButterBrownies · 25/02/2021 05:05

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying glad to be on board! I'm 28, TTC #1 since Sept 2019

AF kindly woke me up at 4am so I'm definitely out. Luckily my dog is always up for cuddles no matter what time!

kerrym87 · 25/02/2021 06:21

@Marvellouslymadmum they don't class as irregular if they're within a few days range it's when you get past 7 days variance. Mine can have up to 12 days....from 33 to 45! Soooooo much trying to dtd in each cycle! 🤣 have pcos as well so excess oestrogen makes my body behave as if it's about to ovulate for like 2 weeks straight.

Crazydoglady123 · 25/02/2021 07:46

Massive congrats @ACMJ 🎉 That's brilliant news!

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks for the seat. How are you feeling today?

Annny27 · 25/02/2021 09:20

Guess who has thrush on cd9 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Haven't even had sex this cycle yet so will be missing out on a lot of fertile week! Hope it's a little bit delayed ....
Will take LH strips every day and hope that if they turn positive we can have sex

How long does thrush treatment take (it's a mild case) and will having sex muck it up?

Marvellouslymadmum · 25/02/2021 09:37

@kerrym87 oh that's interesting! Since I've been tracking ovulation I've realised my body has no actual clue when I'm ovulating or if I am! Last month I used Lh strips and I never got a peak but did get high readings then low then high etc then this month I'm using cb digital and I've been on flashing smiley for 5 days so far, wondering how long that will go on for! I've had a suspicion about pcos but have got blood tests on 9th so hopefully I may get some answers then.

@acmj congratulations! Love a positive story

@Annny27 I hate thrush!! If it's mild it shouldn't take long at all to clear up, I personally find the tablet the quickest way to be rid of it and no sex won't do anything if it's going and mild only make it worse if it's not so mild so you should hopefully be ok 🤞🏻

Crazydoglady123 · 25/02/2021 09:49

@Marvellouslymadmum mine was flashing for 5 days before my static smiley but clearly in my books that means nothing as scan showed I haven't ovulated or going to this cycle 🤷🏽‍♀️

Marvellouslymadmum · 25/02/2021 09:57

@Crazydoglady123 I just had a read up about pcos as I've been suspicious about having it before and it says that you can have a higher level of Lh in your body so ovulation tests are harder to use with it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I think I remember you saying you have more pco that pcos but I would imagine it can be the same issues. I'm glad my doc is taking extra blood on 9th as that may show something up for me, I do sometimes get ovulation pain and I'm wondering if those are the only months I actually manage to ovulate now! A lot of the info on it makes me think it would all make sense if I do have it

Crazydoglady123 · 25/02/2021 10:02

@Marvellouslymadmum yep I have PCO as all my bloods which are a marker for PCOS we're normal and I have a healthy BMI. My biggest symptom other than not ovulating is oily skin and thin hair. I think not ovulating is one of the biggest reasons for female infertility. I'd definitely press for more investigations. Have you had CD21 bloods?

ACMJ · 25/02/2021 10:05

Thank you so much everyone it means so much! I’m hoping it sticks properly, not getting too excited yet as I know anything can happen!! I’ve rang my fertility clinic this morning so hoping they get back to me soon! I will upload my dpo diary as soon as I get home from work 💜

Marvellouslymadmum · 25/02/2021 10:12

@Crazydoglady123 see my bmi is not healthy, but I'm only 5' tall and I'm a size 12/14 in clothes so I'm not exactly huge, I've never really worried about it as I've always weighed more than the 'ideal weight' which is something silly like 6.8st-8.1st even when I was a size 8/10 through my earlier years! It's one of the reasons I don't own scales I've just never fussed about weight as long as I'm happyish with how I look lol I also have thin hair, I have my day 21 bloods booked on 9th March

Dogmum13 · 25/02/2021 10:14

Hi everyone 🙂

RobinRose · 25/02/2021 11:23

Jumping on the bus! 🚌

@ACMJ congratulations 😁!

Crazydoglady123 · 25/02/2021 11:53

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah your weight isn't bad at all. I hate bmi, I suffered with an eating disorder after I had DS and even at my smallest when the doctors got involved I looked so boney yet my bmi was just inside the healthy bracket! I've put a bit of weight on since I started Letrozole so I've kind of gone up to a size 10 from an 8 but I always weigh heavier too for my shape because I have a big bum and thighs (thunder thighs 😂) Be interesting to see how your bloods came back though. Sorry if you've said before but have you had any treatment yet or is your gp still doing tests?

Marvellouslymadmum · 25/02/2021 13:13

@Crazydoglady123 that's why I don't read into bmi too much I'm really curvy too have big bum thighs and boobs and little waist! In actual fact I'm only a size 12-14 because of the pouch I still have from having my two children via caesarian section, if that wasn't there I'd still be a 10/12! I've had no treatments at all yet just a blood test that showed low iron so this is the first real investigation. The more I read about pco/pcos the more I think it would make total sense to me if this is the issue, if not I've got no clue haha
