We're a mixed bunch of ladies ttc with all sorts of issues, mainly of the male factor kind! 😏 Though there's a range of reasons over here, come join if you've been in the ttc game for a long time and had nearly every test under the sun ☀️ and heading for interventions. There's ivf chat as well as natural. Buckling up for the ride of their lives are our usual riders: 😎

@Tofu35 😂 she's a very unwanted guest! I need an infertility warthog t-shirt now 😳

@notyetamumbuttrying it's a good job I'm not planning on going on holiday, wouldn't like to try and explain that lot!

@Aimzie it's like an nhs lottery isn't it, sometimes we get great care and other times left to fend for ourselves

Crazydoglady123 · 18/03/2021 13:22

Sorry about your CP @Aimzie 🥺♥️

@Marvellouslymadmum thank you. That is a lot of vitamins! I'm calling the Tesco zinc or High strength Vit B as the slightly pink round tablet! Have you tried seed cycling too?

@Tofu35 meh, hate the evil witch 😒

Aimzie · 18/03/2021 13:27

Thanks girlies 😭 it's quite sad, I've gave up ttc 15 times from this morning. I'm like I'VE HAD IT, then my delivery of opks arrive 😂 yeah it's kind of sad they don't take it very seriously, we've decided we'll go ahead an book out test privately anyway and then decide what we need to do, I think it's about 500 for the checks here in a clinic so we will manage that soon😊 it's just so hard, I'm even putting our wedding and house on hold for this first but it just makes me feel like it's all years away now, might just get wedding planning and hope for the best 🙄

Annny27 · 18/03/2021 13:29

Sorry for your loss @aimzie ❤❤

I am also tempted with private. Called my gp today to say about the spotting and they couldn't care less 🙄

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/03/2021 13:36

@Marvellouslymadmum haha 😂 nope!
@Aimzie good that you're going ahead privately! Defo throw yourself into wedding planning. It'll be good to have another focus and for your brain to be switched onto something else.
@Annny27 that's so bad! I've defo heard that spotting in LP is a sign of low progesterone so pessaries can help 😘

Annny27 · 18/03/2021 13:38

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah 🤞🏻🤞🏻 if we had to do ivf they give you the suppositories:)

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/03/2021 13:43

@Annny27 so do you think you'll get an appointment booked in privately then? What's the latest with the nhs? Are you waiting to hear bk on funding?

OP posts:
Annny27 · 18/03/2021 13:52

@notyetamumbuttrying they cant do anything untill November.....I need to find out whether that means we will have ivf in november or whether the process starts in November!

Will them make our decision after our hycosy and chatting to the consultants :)

Narwhal88 · 18/03/2021 14:15

@Annny27 I think it will mean the funding can be approved in November as for unexplained it is 2 years. We only got ours approved earlier as we had a known issue ie the male factor infertility. So keep pushing nearer the time so it can be approved straight away.

Theawkwardblonde · 18/03/2021 16:02

@Annny27 and @notyetamumbuttrying playing catch up after night shift. LOL'D so hard at the fertile unicorns and infertile donkeys 😂😂

STILL no freaking period 😡😡😡 what is going on??!!

Crazydoglady123 · 18/03/2021 16:11

So had my planning appointment...I'' on Buserelin injections for about 2 weeks starting on the 31st March. Then I start stims for about 2 weeks so looking at EC end of April and ET beginning of May. Baseline scan is booked on my birthday and ET could fall on OH birthday. I asked again if I'm a higher risk to OHSS but she doesn't think so (and I bloody hope not as it turned out after I've been prescribed two trigger injections 😨) My OH was useless on the call, he kept getting light headed when she was waving the injections about, showing me how to draw then 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/03/2021 16:25

@Crazydoglady123 oh jeez! It's all go go now 🏃‍♀️
@Theawkwardblonde great wasn't it! Good ol @Juno231 bringing the lols!!
I think it's stress now but how do you relax 😩 feel for you x
@Annny27 I think @Narwhal88 is right. Ah that's right, hycosy next!

@Aimzie so sorry to hear about your chemical! I can’t believe you haven’t been offered a progesterone test yet, that was the first thing my GP said to have done when I contacted her about our ttc issues! I would definitely go private if you can, just to get some tests done. We went private for our SA, AMH and scan which cost about £450 and now we’re way ahead of where we would be if I’d waited for all those through NHS!

@Crazydoglady123 wow! Exciting stuff! Why did they prescribe the 2 trigger injections??

Theawkwardblonde · 18/03/2021 16:48

@notyetamumbuttrying yes I think it's stress too. Tmi but my cervix is so high it's ridiculous-been like that since my MC finished so no sign of period soon 😂😂 I feel like crap too but think I'm coming down with a cold.

Hi everyone 🙂 I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else before... I'm usually pretty dry down below, sometimes it's even uncomfortable to wipe and usually get ewcm when I wipe only once or twice, could miss it if I'm not looking for it. This cycle ewcm started on cd10 and increased until cd12 when I got my peak and ovulation pains (yesterday). Yesterday I also had a blob of creamy cm when wiping and then more ewcm the next time I wiped. I've NEVER had creamy cm like that before, maybe a tiny streak on a tissue if any at all but this was the size of a 50p! I had a small amount of creamy cm today too. Ive also never had that amount of ewcm for so long before. Has anyone ever had a cycle where their cm increases a lot compared to normal without doing anything differently or had ewcm and creamy cm on the same day?
