@Crazydoglady123 my last cycle was 24 days but that was first after mc before that they were 25-30 days. I'm very tempted to call them tomorrow and see what they say!!

Would you mind if I joined? I’ve been TTC #2 for almost 12months since a miscarriage in March last year. AF arrived this morning so feeling a bit sorry for myself, could do with some TTC buddy’s.

@Marvellouslymadmum I would! Even if your ovaries don't look polycystic, it'd give you some precise insight to you ovulating and that clinic is a really good price! Owww I'm excited for you 😆

@Justbecause88 awww sorry to hear. These ladies on here are lovely and so supportive. It helps having people in your situation to talk to. Have you had any investigations? Also, is the 88 your year of birth? If so you're the same age as me 😉

Thank you @Crazydoglady123! Hahaha yes indeed, 1988. Although pretty soon to be another year older, heading for lockdown birthday number 2!! I looked at a couple of the new CD1 threads but lots of them have people who have only been trying a month or 2 and I feel like I might be a bit of a negative Nancy 😂

@Crazydoglady123 that's what I was thinking! I was dreading it being really expensive as so close but very pleasantly surprised! I think I'll make contact tomorrow and see what they recommend

@Justbecause88 me too in April! Aw we all have our negative Nancy moments on here. I came onto Mumsnet as my emotions have been so up and down through this process and I haven't told anyone until my MIL recently so taking to these ladies help me so much. How long was you TTC before your MC and how old is #1?

@Crazydoglady123 I’m April too! #1 is 17 months, it took me 7 months to get pregnant with him so not too bad. As it took a little while and I wanted a small age gap we didn’t bother preventing after he was born. I ended up falling pregnant when #1 was 5 months and I was exclusively breastfeeding, however that ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks. A bit of a cruel twist of fate to get pregnant without even really trying and now struggling. I’ve spoken to the docs and had some initial checks but nothing has come up. I’m hypothyroid so GP has promised to refer me in to an endocrinologist in April if still not pregnant. I suspect thyroid caused my miscarriage too.

@Justbecause88 oh wow how crazy! I don't really know a lot about how thyroid affects fertility/pregnancy however I do know how when you get pregnant easily with #1 and then struggle with infertility feels. With my DS I got my BFP within a couple of months after coming off the pill.

I'm heading for another lockdown bday too, although mine was just before restaurants closed last year so was at least able to get a meal out (was meant to be in Barbados tho 🙄). Ooh another March baby in @Marvellouslymadmum! So we're all March/April baby's and dhs are all feb 🤣 bar one July bday for @Annny27 from memory 🤔

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry you're struggling, it's so hard isn't it! Yeah I don't think I'll be keeping up with that protein powder but it'll keep me going for now! I am March 28th so lockdown started a few days days before my birthday last year and the first restrictions will be lifted the day after this year - talk about bad luck! Funny how we are all so similar with our birthdays.

@notyetamumbuttrying awww I totally understand. None of my friends know and my best friend hasn't a clue which is hard because I just struggle to message her now. Like TTC consumes my mind now. I wonder if it's because it's like a countdown to our IVF cycles? That's great though you've got a holiday booked to look forward to and Santorini is beautiful!

@Crazydoglady123 I’m also an ‘88 baby! Got pregnant really quickly with DD too, never expected it would take this long second time round. My ovulation window starts today 😬. Not sure whether to try do every day or every other day... what does everyone else do?? (I find every day very draining personally!)

@Crazydoglady123 yeah I think it is the countdown doing it. We still don't know when we're actually starting yet as do we wait 8 months for nhs or do we go private? We have our private appointment next week so we'll decide after that.

@Justbecause88 @crazycatlady1981 at least it's the weekend soon so we can enjoy a little drink and feel sorry for ourselves, AF is a real witch! It's lovely to have this support group - I also haven't told any of my friends about TTC and only just told my parents and OH's.

Just got my first consultation date for the fertility clinic ref - April 8th! Seems like forever away but I know that it's really not a long wait time at all.

I'm a March baby too! If the roadmap is followed and the weather is nice I might be allowed a couple of friends in my garden, so it may be better than my first lockdown birthday

Morning all and welcome to the new joiners! Scan three this afternoon and I'm praying my follicles have continued their good growth rate and we get the go ahead for egg collection Monday. My DP was supposed to be starting a new job on Monday but he has got them to agree to move his start date to Tuesday because egg collection got delayed, if I walk out of clinic telling him they've pushed it to Tuesday he's not going to be a happy bunny!

Ah and I also don't fit the pattern, im a Feb baby and DP is September. In good news though it looks like Boris will be letting our wedding go ahead, if I'm not pregnant after this round I need to seriously get back on the diet as I've gained loads since Christmas 😒

I'm a summer baby, but DH is part of the February gang! So I'm half in this weird coincidence😅

I'm doing alright @crazydoglady123, according to the NC app it's coming up for peak ovulation, so it's going to be a few days of peeing on sticks!

Zoomed with our friends who started trying when we did, but they now have a baby who is starting to stand up by themselves. Which is nice to see, but one of those "that could have been us" twinges!

Has anyone had a hsg done? Im very nervous! But if i got pregnant before im hoping my tubes are okay! Im not tracking bbt or ovulation at the moment, found it too stressful! But im pretty good at knowing when im ovulating, its normally pretty similar time each month =)

I actually haven't told anyone that we are ttc and neither has the oh when we got pg the first time I told both my sisters and he told his mum and sister and then we mc so we are just keeping everything to ourselves at the moment but it does make it hard to talk to others!

@SlothMamaToBe we do every other day normally but it ends up changing slightly so this fw we have done 19th, 21st, 24th, 25th and I'm still on my flashing smiley so no idea if or when I'll actually ovulate 🤦🏼‍♀️

@SunnySide1992 I used to think I knew when I ovulated too but I've since learned I've got not clue whatsoever, even with tracking at the moment 😂
