@Crazydoglady123 I told my mam but even though my sister went through many failed IVF she she still seems to say what she thinks is helpful but really isn't....like when I had an ME blip I said I was worried about bringing up a child and she said well will you cope? Thanks man, needed a pep talk! Ir itll be fine, I fell with endo, yeah but mam you fell accidentally with me in the pill, yeah it took 4 years for my sister but the fact it took longer 2nd time doesn't seem to translate. She's trying to be nice but sometimes unrealistic chirpy optimism is not helpful! I am careful what I tell her and confide more in my sister who's gone through it.

@Motherofkittens28 fingers crossed for you, I had AMH and Afc done Jan and Feb but not had result yet, think consultant is going to feed back in one go after hyscosy etc. Just wanna know a plan now as pain getting worse, expecting endo so just wanna know if my tubes are patent or not to know the plan

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! So my fertility friend app is saying I’m probably fertile today but actually it’s only CD10 . I have had definite EWCM though. My temp has dropped slightly this morning rather than increased , so that doesn’t make sense does it? I’ll attach a pic of my graph if anyone doesn’t mind offering their interpretation! New to temping!

@kerrym87, fingers crossed for good news when you get the results. I have endo but my tubes were fine, I've been on the waiting list for a Laparoscopy since early December as my last one was 13 years ago! Glad I didn't wait for the opp before starting the ivf!

@SlothMamaToBe you can get a dip in temp on the day of ovulation then it's supposed to be elevated for three consecutive days afterwards so likely you are ovulating today/tomorrow

Oh does anyone know if I'm supposed to eat my pineapple and drink my Pom juice at a certain time of my cycle or any? I've forgotten 🤦🏼‍♀️ really should take notes!

Oh wow thank you that’s a big help! I’d better actually get to it today then!! But I’m ovulating cd10 could they be a reason for not getting pregnant ? It means I have a long LP doesn’t it?

@SlothMamaToBe it could mean you have a long Lp yes, how long are your cycles? And it could be the reason for not getting pregnant if you're missing ovulation definitely!

My periods in general are very regular - 27-29 days. I always spot before AF for a few days. Does it mean I can get pregnant without help?

@SlothMamaToBe it would depend then if you always ovulate early or if this is a one off, it would definitely help to try the cb ovulation tests like @CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker suggested as it would confirm what your bbt is saying if you get a peak at the same time

@SlothMamaToBe when do you normally start dtd? We always started on day 7 so as not to miss it if I ovulated early, ideally you want to spread your every other day over the full possible window just in case.

I’ve used cheap opk’s before . I did it for a few months but didn’t end up preg. Usually detected my surge day 14/15 in general from what I remember. I heard that they are not meant to be that great at predicting ovulation as some think so I stopped doing it. I have a few left in the back of drawer so I will prob test over next few days to see .

We’ve been a bit slack with dtd recently and might just do it a couple times around day 14 but when properly trying we would from day 10 - maybe we should start earlier though! We both have very tiring jobs and so in the week we rarely dtd and save it all up for the weekend 😄

@SlothMamaToBe I used the strip ones and never managed to get a peak on them so I'm using the clearblue digital advanced this month which measure two hormones rather than one and are a lot easier to read! I'm on my 7th day of flashing smiley today, which is high fertility but I'm not sure I'm ovulating correctly so I may never get a peak on mine. It could just be that you haven't got pregnant yet as you haven't dtd at the right time 🤷🏼‍♀️

@kerrym87 when are you due all results bk? I suspect I have endo too n might have to pay to get a lap done as the nhs told me the wait list is a year...think I said this already but it could've been to someone else so repeating just in guess.

@Marvellouslymadmum pineapple is day after ov. Not sure about Pom juice, I know ivf clinics recommend it for juicy lining so must be in tww for implantation.

I'm on CD13 today amd got a sod smiley face after a few days of flashing smiley amd it looks like the one step line got slightly darker this morning! I will test again this afternoon too.

I got cp tacted by the specialist GP surgery and got asked for an AMH blood test to check ovarian reserve so I did that yesterday. Hopefully it's OK and we can move forward with plans for fertility treatment. I've got Accupuncture booked in March to try and help.

@SlothMamaToBe 😂 yep all the sexiness with them but if it works it's worth it! I bought my Cb advanced from eBay they had a short shelf life which is fine as I'm using them straight away anyway but only cost me £24 instead of £45

Omg I tried the veggie protein powder in milk! It's chocolate peanut butter flavour so I was thinking it should taste ok 🤢 one scoop makes just under a pint and I could only manage half it was so disgusting I was heaving

@kerrym87 I'm glad it's not just my mum who doesn't come out with the most helpful stuff! When I was pregnant with DS she said she was worried I wouldn't love him as I wasn't very maternal!!! I was the most protective new mum and wouldn't let him go for a day to his grandparents till his was walking so that backfired for her 😂

@SlothMamaToBe I don't temp but the dip is what you look for I believe. Fingers crossed you're chart carries on going the right way 🤞 I've not really heard of a long leutal phase but DTD just in case 😉

@Crazydoglady123 ahh I tried looking it up and it said pomegranate was before ovulation and helps promote a healthy uterine lining 🤔 buff ttc it did say pineapple was for after.

I think the protein stuff may be going in the bin! I'll try it again with water or it says you can bake it into things but if it's still disgusting maybe not lol

@Marvellouslymadmum oh yeah, it would be. I know it's supposed to help with implantation. Tbh I'm loving Pom juice so drinking it everyday watered down regardless

@Crazydoglady123 I was actually pleasantly surprised at his nice it was! I read it was good for sperm concentration and motility so offered some to the other half and he's loving it! Will def be ordering more.

I was just wondering, did you have trouble tracking your ovulation before they gave you the clomid? I'm cd12 7 days of flashing smileys so far, nit sure how long to carry in checking for 🤷🏼‍♀️
