Yeh, it's disappointing but honestly I wasn't expecting it to happen on our first month of TTC again. I'm trying to tell myself that I can at least go for a drink in the pub outdoors this month. Silver living and all. ☁️

I saw on another thread that some people plan nice things for themselves to do or treat themselves when AF rocks up. I have a nice bottle of gin that I bought a little while ago so may crack that open on Friday after work.

@Sweetbabydust1989 As you've done the deed a few times before and around your surge then I really would try not to fret too much 💕 it's easier said than done but stressing out during each month is definitely counter intuitive to conceiving (I'm the last person to admit this because I'm so anxious about time) try not to overthink the 2WW too much and all the symptoms you'll get cause there will be lots !! My family have all expressed concerns about my mental health and stress levels at the moment particularly with how the referral has been handled, I really don't think it helps anyone except getting yourself all worked up for nothing so try to spend the next two weeks looking after yourself and your body and keeping busy x

@Luan82 thanks hun for all the positive comments it’s so appreciated... oh I am not even going to test until I miss my period no point wasting a test if AF comes I do have plenty of restraint on that one lol yea it was like 3 days before peak and then on peak day I did it so plenty of sperms up there I hope they’re still alive lol xx

Congrats @ActonBell I hope the wait goes quickly and it's all smooth sailing this time. I'm coming into my fertile week - my cycles seem to be all over the show again I use clear blue but my AF seems to be showing up 14+ days after my positive which makes me thing I'm ovulating waay after my positive OPK. How does everyone count spotting? I normally wait until full flow before I count it as CD1 but then I'm so confused with the OPK!

@that90sgirl I am using those clear blue opks I also think I might be ovulating a few days after my peak as I only got my general ovulation cramping and mucus on CD 15 I also got my peak super quick this month CD 12 last month was CD 16... I count my full flow as CD1 that’s what my consultant told me to do.. I feel like dumping my ovulation kits.

@Sweetbabydust1989 I hear ya! I was re-using the digi thing so I have opened a new one for this cycle to see if it makes a difference but my plan is to just try DTD every other day over fertile period! I'm only day 3 so we'll see if we actually manage that 🤣

@that90sgirl I have been reusing mine was told to as it apparently gets use to your cycles please let me no if your new one works better... I am day 16 according to the clear blue app but my cycles are usually 28-30 days long but they’re usually 30 days so I did get my peak much earlier this month... I honestly don’t even no which day I count 1DPO so not bothering will just wait for AF to show up lol

@Sweetbabydust1989 yes I will! I was doing the exact same but it's been on the go for well over a year now so thought it might be time for a new one!? Who knows, clutching at straws at this point! Lol my cycles are usually 35-37 days so it can be a real pain trying to figure out where I am! I did think the clear blue ovulation tests worked great pre ectopic so hopefully we can get back there! I'm glad I'm not the only one with dodgy cycles - thought I was going mad having a peak and then like 5 days later having ewcm and ovulation cramps. 🤯

@that90sgirl mine is only a month old 🤣 well if my dates are right this cycle might be 27 days long this month if I come on by my cd 30 then I no I am ovulating later than the test.. honestly you’re not the only one at all hun mine... my last cycle was spot on but this one is a little hit and miss especially as my peak was cd 16 which is pretty much right oh the joys of baby making.. I am cramping like mad today have been for a few days really hoping it’s a good month.. I got my pains and ewcm 3/4 days after my peak so who knows lol

@Sweetbabydust1989 cramps sounds like a good sign! How many dpo are you?? Haha I definitely need a new one then! Lol

@that90sgirl erm well I got my positive test on Sunday so not sure if to count Sunday or Monday 🙈 my flo app is saying Monday as ovulation date so I am either 3 or 4 days... what do you reckon?? I am crap at this 🤣 it’s more middle cramps not on one side... yes I think a new one is a good plan xx

I usually say it's the day after a positive OPK so I'd go with that!! Good luck with the TWW and I'll let you know if I have anymore luck with this new one🤞

@that90sgirl yes please do I might buy some internet cheapies to use along side this thing... when I tested on Tuesday I got a blank circle my Clearblue blue app even shouted at me to not test again lol x

@Sweetbabydust1989 so I got a static smiley face today 😡 which was my second day testing using the new holder. It is way too early so I have no idea what to do now! May have to use cheapie OPKs but I find them extremely hard to interpret.

@that90sgirl I am sort of not sure on mine anymore I think cheapies might be the way forward... I have been cramping and having cm since cycle day 14 or 15 so I reckon I have only just ovulated... give those cheapies ago least you can compare without the expense I sometimes feel I am peeing money down the loo when I pee on my Clearblue ones well that's what the other half says he goes it's like a pound a stick 🤣 xx

How's everyone doing today?

As AF arrived this week on our first month of TTC again I'm treating myself tonight. Been working hard in the garden today, listening to some podcasts. Some nice hair products and new nail varnishes I bought arrived, I'm having a bath with a glass of fizz and watching some trash TV right now. It's amazing.

@Lililou that sounds like a plan I honestly cannot wait to have my nails done when they open... how you feeling now?? I have the worst on off back pain and cramps not even due on yet got another 10 or so days well according to my flo app xx

@Luan82 how is the AVA bracelet going? Can I ask how much it was for second hand? Seems to be a whole range of prices online.

@that90sgirl course ! I've just set it up so this eve is the first night using (you only sleep with it on don't wear during the day) it's supposed to be very good only your cycle is fairly regular and not really much longer that 30 days, I have never measured my BBT before so thought it would be a good experiment, will let you know how I get on, mine cost just over 100 second hand think they are something like £250 brand new !! 😱x

@that90sgirl first night using not great data not synced !! I'm not sure I charged it sufficiently so am charging today hopefully this evening will work better... it's not ideal having to charge the bracelet every day throughout the day though guess it's like a phone in that respect ...
