@Luan82 oh that's annoying! Hopefully tonight it will be better after a full day of charge. I really don't know what to do as my cycles aren't the most consistent so maybe it's not the best option for me.

@that90sgirl - being completely honest with you I'm not sure it is recommended for irregular cycles, I think the best option is the sperm meets egg method (which I'm trying this month) one last go before I'm put onto IVF protocol ! 🙏🏼🤞🏼

@MrsB2019x - thanks for asking. I’m feeling okay. A little nauseous and a few other mild symptoms which is good news. It’s still early days. Both EPU and GP have been a bit dismissive and just said to get in touch again when I’m 6 weeks. I know they can’t do anything before then and that they’re busy but it would help to have someone simply acknowledge that this is an anxious time.

@ActonBell Yeah I get that 😔 how many weeks are you? I got in touch with mine at 5 weeks to book the 6 week scan in advance, will they do that?

I’m only 4+4 as I had my bfp the day before my period was due and rang epu the next day when I got another positive. They didn’t even ask exactly how far along I was, just told me to call back when I got to six weeks. I might try to ring again next week and see if I get someone different who’s a bit more sympathetic! I don’t really understand why I can’t book at scan now to happen at 6 weeks.

I end up lurking on this thread rather than posting. I'm 2DPO - I think managed to catch the right day but didn't use ovulation tests this month.

@ActonBell in my last pregnancy, which resulted in my son, I was told to come for a scan at 7-8 weeks. In the end I had pain at 5 weeks, and ended up having a scan at 5+6 just to confirm it was in the right place. I went back at 7+6 to see a heartbeat. It's a really anxious time and the worst bit is nothing can change what's going to happen. Fingers crossed.

@ActonBell have you referred yourself to the midwife yet? When I did that, I mentioned in the form about my ectopic history and that I was advised to have a 6 week scan for any subsequent pregnancy. Midwife arranged it all for me with the EPU the same day, no questions asked. Might be worth a go if the GP is a non starter?

That was a bit ambiguous, sorry! Midwife contacted me the same day with an EPU appointment a fortnight later (when I was 6/7 weeks). I self referred at 4 weeks.

When shall I test I am so anxious about it all I had a bit of one off pain in my right side where my ectopic was and my consultant said it's normal to feel a little sore due to it being scar tissue... I am on cycle day 21 got my positive ovulation static smiley cycle day 12 but not 100% when I ovulated xx

I'm all booked in for my IVF now and am just waiting for AF so I can start on day 2!! Which should be around 28th April. My body decided to ovulate a week later than usual just to make me wait even longer 🙃 typical!!

Having a slight pity party for myself this evening. More babies have arrived this week and it is reminding me what I’ve lost, as my would-have-been-due date creeps that bit nearer. Time marches on slowly in the world of TTC and I am impatient! CD8 for me today.

I’m sorry @NigellasMicrowave - it’s so hard. My sil is pregnant and due a couple of months before what would have been the due date for the pregnancy we lost. It’s been hard watching her pregnancy progress, even though we’re so excited to welcome a new niece. So I understand those mixed feelings.

@NigellasMicrowave I really wish there was a easy answer for this . I was listening to the radio and there seemed to be so people announcing grandchildren or children being born and could they have this song played I wanted to scream. I quite liked that at least with lockdown I wasn’t having to deal with it so much in my face but now it is easing I am worried about it .
I am hoping that I can be refered to Tommys. My GP is writing me a letter and they said it normally takes 4-6 weeks . I am also booked for an appointment with Prof Regan . I have heard she is really good. I am ignoring the cost of that ! Hopefully she will be able to give me some answers to the miscarriages and the ectopic and do I need to worry or it is it just bad bloody luck !!

I’ve seen Prof Regan (not for miscarriage) and she is pretty special @Hlump1980. She is very pragmatic but understands the overwhelming emotions of it all. My husband and I were really impressed by her.

Driving myself up the wall this evening thinking I’ve got shoulder tip pain. Didn’t have this last time so I don’t know what it’s like. 99% sure it’s just a slightly achy arm from being at my desk all day. No other pain or anything untoward and it doesn’t get worse when I breathe deeply or anything.

5 weeks today so trying to hang in there and not completely lose the plot.

@NigellasMicrowave @ActonBell I've had a tough couple of weeks too. My niece was born this week which is amazing and I can't wait to meet her. But it's also a little bit sad. Other SIL is pregnant and sharing scan pics. A friend is due when i was and another friend announced recently. Had some hard days recently 😢

@ActonBell you poor thing! I had what I thought was shoulder tip pain with my actual ectopic but when I was scanned my consultant completely dismissed it as I hadn't ruptured and therefore no internal bleeding. Interestingly enough I had what I felt was the same pain the first month of TTC when I began spotting at the beginning of my period. I do believe anxiety/stress can mimic real symptoms and cause terrible worry. Have you any other symptoms like bleeding etc? Did you manage to get a scan booked it at least?

How is everyone?? I am now 12 DPO I think 🙈flo app saying I am due on in 3 days... really worrying I keep getting the odd stabbing pain in my right side where I had my ectopic not sure why this is happening I am putting it down to scar tissue but not sure xx

Sorry for the radio silence lately lots going on -! Hope everyone is well!? I'm FINALLY booked for my first appointment for IVF with the nurses on the 9th May to discuss meds - so excited and nervous!! 🤞🏼🙏🏼❤️

@Luan82 so exciting for you I cannot wait to see that BFP from you!!! I am currently 14DPO if I go back when I got my peak I have got over the urge to test I was having loads of on/off cramps which have now gone just got loads of creamy cm I think the Witch might be on her way xx

Well that's a tricky question Clearblue app is predicting Friday and flo app is predicting tomorrow so o honestly don't no 🙈 i am usually a 30 day cycle so I would likely be on by Thursday/Friday xx
