Yes let your cycles settle down then you can accurately pinpoint ovulation and have a really good shot at getting the BFP!

@Springandsummer123 100% mine was management treatment so still got both my tubes I wanted to give myself time to heal internally aswell as emotionally I have ovulation tests not sure how to use them x

That's gone so fast @springandsummer123! It's very odd having a newborn in lockdown, but it's actually felt a lot more chilled not having visitors everyday.

@mumof2littleminions57 with the opks you wee on them once a day, until you start getting a reading then you can up it to a couple if times to identify the actual peak, which then usually means you will ovulate in the next 24- 48 hours. Also a sign to get jiggy!
I used the femo meter app which tells you what to do and interprets your cycle too.
I also did bbt which helped to confirm ovulation had happened so I could be more sure about dates. Best thing is just to have a play for a few months to start seeing what your pattern is and if it's regular. I'm happy to share some of my old cycle charts if it would help?

@Sammyclaire22 thanks so much hun that would be brilliant... my other half brought me a clear blue one that connects to my phone only downside is you get 20 sticks and cannot buy new ones you have to buy a whole new thing grr so trying not to waste the sticks a lady on here recommended I get some cheap sticks to use and to come confirm the perk days with my clear blue. I find I get pregnant very quickly but this one ended in ectopic been on a downer since my ectopic naturally miscarried i have asked for a tube test but they told me they won’t do it until after 12 months of trying unless I go private but can’t see anywhere local it’s all central London.

@Luan82 @Lililou thanks both for the welcome! I don't know why but I didn't really talk much to anyone about it at the time so it's really nice to be able to talk with others who have also experienced an ectopic.

@Luan82 Actually got a call from the doctor last week who said ovaries look normal and no signs of PCOS, he couldn't work out why my AF is so irregular but said to wait for maybe another one or two cycles then he would refer me to a specialist. I guess it's just a waiting game now.

It's been just over 8wks since my last AF. I've had some PMS symptoms the last few days so maybe AF is on it's way (orrrr possibly PG? We did the horizontal love dance about 3wks ago so not sure, trying not to get my hopes up tho!)

Hi everyone. So little bit about myself. We got married in 2015 and wanted a baby straight away we got pregnant straight away but unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage we never thought much of it and moved on and thought well atleast we can get pregnant, boy were we wrong! 3 years later after many tests nothing until they put me on clomid and after 3 cycles my miracle baby was born. We did not want to waste much time in trying for another and got pregnant very quickly with our second but unfortunately that also ended in a miscarriage. A few months later we tried again and once again got pregnant very quickly but this time it ended in a eptopic but luckily was cured with a methotrexate injection. After this nothing no pregnancy nothing for 2 years. Until recently when I got pregnant on my last cycle of clomid but something just felt off. I thought it was my nerves but when I went for my 6 week scan they found the baby growing on my right fallopian tube I was rushed in for surgery and my tube ruptured during surgery and had to be removed. I am ever so grateful for my little miracle baby but what are my chances now of ever having another one. No more clomid for me they said:( anyone got any positive stories. So sorry for the long story but I felt like it needed to come out.

@kayvsy - horizontal love dance 💃🏻!! Brilliant description!! I do think there was a large gap between my ectopic and bleed after the medication so try not to worry too much as stress is a major factor when ttc (easier said than done!!) great news it's not pcos though x

@hannafaisal - you poor thing, sounds like you've been through it all! I would suggest that you look at investigations in your remaining tube to check for blockage? I guess they won't let you continue with clomid as higher amount of eggs, higher chance of another ectopic - have you spoken to a specialist yet? Xx

How is everyone feeling today? It's d-day for me🤞🏼 aunt flow is due although no sign yet but I'm not testing till tomorrow when I'm officially late, plus pregnacare made my last cycle insanely long and don't feel ready for the disappointment of a BFN today !! Im trying not to get my hopes up as a week ago I had every single weird symptom but the past few days I've had zero - can anyone relate? 🤦🏻‍♀️x

@Luan82 good luck I am sending you buckets of baby dust cannot wait to see your BFP post... i am still waiting for AF still cramping and no sign yet had lots of discharge so guessing it could be ovulation cannot start ttc until I am past 2 cycles the wait is torture xx

@MumOf2LittleMinions57 bless you!! I don't usually get any CM before period, have you got any cheapy tests to check LH levels just so you know either way? Gosh a BFP would be AMAZE, if it's not my month though it's ok, I will just look forward to lots a exercise, eating healthy and castor oil fertility massage untill ovulation again - think this time round we'll also DTD every two days a week before and after ovulation just to ensure I don't miss my fertile window xxx

@Luan82 good luck for tomorrow, fingers crossed for you. And if it isn’t what we are hoping for, then you’ve got lots of us willing you on for next month too.

I went to see a private gynaecologist last week. She did a scan and said she couldn’t see anything that wouldn’t suggest I won’t be able to have a successful pregnancy. She said I could have a hycosy if I wanted one but I’ve conceived once (and she assumes the tube is open) and it wouldn’t show up any damage to the cilia within the tubes even if it did come back clear. So who knows. She did a swab test and it came back positive for BV so I’ve got antibiotics for that. I had BV shortly before becoming pregnant and I’m terrified it had something to do with the ectopic, though the doctor didn’t seem that bothered by it.

Having a bit of a low week as the baby boom amongst our friends has well and truly started. I keep getting photos of lovely little babies and I know I won’t be getting that this year anymore. It all feels a bit hopeless and bleak for me right now.

@NigellasMicrowave oh I really feel for you, I totally understand. try to not to worry about the cause, there likely wasn't one. This limbo is awful as we have nothing to focus on but it's a good time to process everything the best we can and be ready to try again xx

@NigellasMicrowave - so lovely !!! Thanks so much for those kind words it really means so much - I don't feel like I can really discuss this sort of stuff with my close friends I feel like they don't understand, I completely sympathise - am pretty sure my ectopic was due to an undiagnosed infection in my twenties - but pls try not to punish or blame yourself though, no one knows for sure what causes it and that's even if there is any damage at all! Try to stay positive and if you ever need to talk we're all here for you ❤️xxx

@Luan82 no I have only got the Clearblue one and didn’t want to waste them until I start actively ttc I was told to wait 2 cycles so i am guessing April will be my month to start. Been on a bit of a downer apparently I ovulated from my left ovary but my tot got stuck in my right tube I am worried now could that mean that my left tube it blocked hence it needed an alternative route. Yes it would be amazing to see a BFP post from you when you going to test?? X

@NigellasMicrowave Glad your fertility prognosis is good. Sadly ectopics can just be one of those things, which is kind of good in one way so there’s not another hurdle to overcome, but not so good for closure.

@MumOf2LittleMinions57 @MrsB2019x eeeeeeek thanks ladies, I've got two FRERs so might test with one tomorrow am, least then I'll know either way as will be 13dpo - have been getting cramps on both sides today which is odd, lots of indigestion and heartburn but no real preggo symptoms tbh unlike other months, had some pretty bad cramps late last night and thought AF was well on her way but nothing yet ... 😬xx

@MumOf2LittleMinions57 - I'd suggest buying some of these - www.amazon.co.uk/One-Step-Sensitive-Ovulation-Fertility/dp/B001G7P62S i used these even during my 3month wait, just so I could track my ovulation and add it to my Flo app, that way i could start looking for a pattern and get to know how my body was gearing up for the fertile window - think of it like a trial run! 😉xx

@Luan82 so exciting for you i honestly cannot wait to start neither can my other half 🤣 he wants to try for a girl I told him good luck lol... I have just ordered those ones as I honestly have no idea when my ovulation is now I think it might be now but not sure as my cycles are messed up he went all fancy and brought an expensive pee stick he wasn’t best pleased when I told him I can’t get refills for it 🙈 xx
