Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

Thank you! I’m having a gender scan on the 29th! I’ve also been put on 150mg of aspirin so have to take that until 36 weeks!

@lucyrp you are a month ahead of me ☺️. Mines on the 23rd April but I’ve booked a private gender scan for the 29th. Are you still definitely not finding out?

@mumof23188 on the 29th already! time flies! Do you have a preference at all (I'm sorry, I can't remember what DC you have already)?

@mumof23188 yeah still keeping it a surprise ! Although I'm going to have a good look at the scan when I go 🙈

@Juno231 it really does! Scarily fast! I have a DD who is 9 and my DS is 19 months. No preference really, my DD would love a sister but she said she thinks baby is a boy!

Omg!! Ladies what do I take from this? RHR is through the roof, but temp is dropping. Didn't test this morning at 13dpo, because yesterday was negative on frer!! 🤯🤯🤯

@Cakelaur if a FRER was negative at 12DPO then I think your RHR might be trolling you :( How long is your LP normally?

I have been trying for baby number 1 for about 2 years now, I've had 5 miscarriages but still hopeful it will happen one day🤞🏻
Anyway I've only just discovered about the rhr and I am intrigued.
Can I ask, does there seem to be a general pattern? I know everyone is different but have you noticed any patterns like does it go up or down after ovulation or before af?

@Cakelaur ah well a longer LP is brilliant! 10 could be a bit on the dicey side otherwise.

@dizzy85 hi dizzy! sorry to still see you around on these boards :/ I'd say the general pattern for RHR is a higher RHR during your LP (mine often tracks nearly perfectly against my temp shift for instance) and usually lets you know AF is on its way by starting to drop a few days beforehand. A lot of the ladies on here have had their RHR rising a lot after implantation although sometimes we get trolled by that.

I would say though, I find really fit ladies with a lower RHR to start with have less of a pattern going on - I think their hearts are just too fit to be impacted as much by hormone fluctuations.

@Juno231 yup! I'm actually quite chuffed that it's lengthened. I just wish I didn't have all this bizarre spotting along side it! 🙈

Oh that's interesting to know. I'm not really sure what to make of mine, I'm just getting used to it, but now I've discovered it i keep checking like it's gonna have all the answers🤦🏻‍♀️ I'll attach a pic anyway..I ovulated around the 3rd-5th, I guess I'll see what the next few days brings.
How are things going for you?

@mumof23188 I think they tell me as I have the test, I’m not sure! Sat in hospital waiting for it now. I’ve had loads of cramps yesterday and then RHR has shot up today so 🤞🏻 It’s my month - would be here for Christmas which is a lovely thought!

@mumof23188 scan was all ok, starting to get fed up now haha

@LS2020 what did they look for at the scan? So frustrating lovely. It’s almost as if you wish there was something that could be fixed 😩. Totally feel for you. How many Dpo are you? Crossing everything!!!!! I had cramps at 9dpo the cycle I got my BFP. It’s only really been in the second trimester that my HR has been consistently high!

@mumof23188 I think it’s just checking everything looks normal, no obvious issues with ovaries/tubes and making sure no cysts and polyps. Think it’s baseline for IVF too so they can compare if they need to start putting me on treatment.
I’m only 5/6dpo so bit early yet, will see how I go!

What makes you think that? ☺️

@LS2020 ah I see, I’m glad that everything is looking good in there. What’s the next steps for you then lovely? I’m remaining positive for you 🤞.

Just a feeling really ☺️. My DD is adamant it’s a boy aswell! My OH thinks girl because I’ve been so ill.

@mumof23188 just waiting on a Hycosy (keep getting mixed messages on if they’ve started) and do my day 3 bloods again next week. If day 3 bloods show an oestrogen issue again, I’m going to pay privately for a HSG (they don’t do private Hycosys) so I can get on with my treatment. If bloods come back fine, I might wait it out a bit more but then I assume they’ll start talking about next steps for IUI/IVF. I’m maybe feeling a bit daft given MMC but it’s given me a bit of hope I want to do natural if I can so thankfully not in a huge rush.

It’s funny how you get those feels isn’t it? I kept calling mine ‘her’ to my OH and I was just convinced 😂 is that what you were like with your DD?

Interesting progress here. CD19, unsure of DPO. RHR hasn't been this high in a while, but at CD19 I'm not sure it's relevant.

@LS2020 I’ve read on here that some have had appointments. So hopefully it’s all starting up again. It’s good to have a bit of a plan in place. I don’t think you are being daft at all. It shows that you and your partner can conceive so fingers crossed it happens for you 🤞. Just rubbish how it takes some people so long 😩. How are you doing? How many Dpo now?

Yes definitely! I agree you get the feels! I feel like I knew what both mine were. I’ll be gobsmacked if this ones a girl because I’m so sure it’s a boy!

@GlassLily if you ovulated when you got your peak how many Dpo would you roughly be? Fingers crossed it continues to rise!

@mumof23188 only about 5 DPO. Still, keeping my fingers crossed.

@mumof23188 yeah I hope they start back up again. It’s annoying that it’s £450 for private. If it had been like £300 might have considered it but given all rest of tests have been fine, feels steep!
I’m good thanks, 8dpo and not really feeling much. Started to get sore boobs yesterday which I normally get a week out from AF. Much happier as mean I’ll have a 27 day cycle instead of the two 23 days I’ve just had. RHR has been flat at 58 all week but I’ve been off work using up annual leave so don’t know if that’s why it’s so low?

@GlassLily how are you getting on? I finally got a bit of a rise (10dpo today) but nothing too exciting. Progesterone is hitting my hard this cycle, boobs are killing and got such bad nausea today with gas, can’t stand the smell of anything 😩 TWW sucks!

@LS2020 wow that's a great rise, especially with the symptoms too! Fingers crossed!

I've got sore boobs but otherwise feeling ok. I've decided I must be 8DPO. RHR still up but no higher than it was before. I'm going to test in about 4 days (I have to test so I know whether to stop taking progesterone). Are you going to test or just wait and see if AF arrives?
