Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

Hello my lovelies, the witch showed her face yesterday, so now I'm CD2. 😇 Let's see how long my period will last this cycle and when I will actually ovulate.
Last cycle was weird overall. Period only lasted 2,5 days, ov on CD9, on and off cramping after ovulation and 2 days of super light spotting once at 7dpo and then shortly before my period. My luteal phase ended up being 14 days tho which is great for me.

@GlassLily I will stop reading into my CM at least post ovulation as it seems unreliable. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@mumof23188 How are you feeling? Is the nausea gone by now? How are dc? 💞

@GlassLily I know what you mean, I’m on what feels like cycle 7000 and I’m due to ovulate today or tomorrow and honestly been such a slog to get here. No idea how I’m going to get through my TWW 😩

@Juno231 I don’t think I even implanted til 9dpo so way too early to be out ❤️ But after a certain point each longer cycle feels worst than the last and it’s hard when you get to that point

Kids are great thanks. My DD is back at school now so we are exhausted this week! How’s your DD? Any signs of restrictions easing in Germany? I’m doing ok now, just nausea but no sickness thankfully 😅. I had my scan and was dated at 13+4 so I’m actually 14 weeks tomorrow 😱.

What on earth is going on... The peak labelled 65 is where I had a drink on the weekend, then it started to slowly come down which usually takes a few days after drinking, then it would normally return to pre-alcohol level. Now CD12 and it has suddenly shot back up?! I don't normally ovulate until at least CD17 so I don't think it can be that, but usually 65 would be a high LP reading. (I haven't had any alcohol since Saturday)

I should expect AF tomorrow with that RHR drop right?! I'm gutted!!!

Been having cramps all day and spotting. But can't believe my LP is only 8 days!! 😭

@Cakelaur hat's a big drop, but at 8DPO it could be implantation. Especially with cramps and spotting. And even if it's not implantation, my RHR often dips around that time anyway, I think it's due to a second oestrogen surge around that point.

How long is your LP usually? Hope AF doesn't show 🤞🏻

Hi everyone! Really interesting to read all your experiences with charting using rhr. With my daughter I temped and it worked great but now I'm TTC no. 2 and my sleep is loads more disturbed it's really not clear at all.

From my rhr and the positive OPK I really think that I've ovulated but it's so hard to tell when because my temps are all over the place. I'm hoping it was CD15 and I missed the positive OPK by testing too early that morning. What I read online says rhr increases when you're about to ovulate so I guess it's harder to pinpoint the actual day using just rhr?

@Kinsters yes you definitely can't rely on pure RHR for pinpointing ovulation. However your last two temps have been taken earlier than usual. Use a BBT temp adjuster to correct them just in case you ovulated on CD20. However it's very clear the LH surge on CD16 did not lead to ovulation.

@Cakelaur I don't think that dip would indicate AF unless you tend to have super short LPs? Most likely a hormonal dip.

@GlassLily I do sometimes think maybe RHR also shows when we have low key inflammations/infections in our bodies? Maybe you've got a bug your body is dealing with in the background.

@LarasMama sorry to hear AF showed up again! I'm 11DPO but my temp has plummeted and so has my RHR so I think AF might show a day early and visit tomorrow already at this rate!

Had a slight increase today, but will see by end of day. Temp dropped a little, but not below coverline. Will have to see what tomorrow brings. Still spotting. But it's red now! 😭

@Juno231 actually one is an hour earlier than usual and one is an hour later 😅 it's funny that they came out about the same though.

@Cakelaur my LP was only 7 days long when I got pregnant so try not to worry even if your LP is short. The pregnancy resulted in miscarriage but I don't think that was anything to do with the short LP. Could be wrong though. What I found helped lengthen it (it was 5 before that) was taking a multivitamin. I think it's the B vitamins that help because I've heard some women stop taking pregnacare because it lengthens their cycles too much.

So temp went up this morning. RHR was a little higher yesterday after my HUGE drop. But BFN on frer this morning! 10dpo! 😔

@Kinsters all the more reason to temp adjust them in that case - that should be 0.1C difference in opposite directions so will affect your chart.

@Cakelaur could very well just be too early to test! fingers crossed

12DPO - RHR has dropped from a TWW high of 74 to 65 today. Awaiting AF today/tomorrow!

@mumof23188 I’m good thank you - this cycle is dragging. Only 1/2dpo and so bored already 😂 managed to DTD 3 times Wednesday so if that doesn’t work I give up!! Got my first baseline scan on Tuesday so at least getting something moving fertility wise

Morning,
Just had a phone appointment with midwife.
8+3 today. No bleeding or cramping but also minimal symptoms.
Midwife reassured me some women don’t get any symptoms and I’m still trying to take it a day at a time.
HR attached shoes I’m on the increase again

@Juno231 sorry it's looks like AF is on the way.

I have a slight increase of RHR today, but still only 62. AF is due tomorrow so I'm just gonna hold out and test on Sunday (depending on RHR and temps)

Help! What do you think? I didn't test this morning because I got what I thought was AF... but it was just a tiny gush of pink/watery stuff! RHR is up! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Cakelaur your HR looks promising.

@Kona84 I think if temp stays up I'll test. Had no more spotting or anything. Did a cheapie this afternoon. Stupidly with no hold! Haha. Negative. 🙈 I have an frer ready for tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Bfn this morning at 12dpo on frer!! No show of af. A tiny bit of brown on wiping. But I had to look hard to see it. And had a bit of spotting 3 days ago. Hopefully af just shows up so I can start again! 😭😭

Does anyone have any thoughts on my mad RHR and OPKs? Usually my RHR is really consistent and predictable but suddenly it's at LP levels during my FP... It's been that way for about a week now. Saturday I had a dark OPK but not quite positive. Sunday the OPK line was almost completely gone. Ovulation not due until at least Tuesday... Or maybe it already happened and I somehow missed it..? Anyone had this before?

@LS2020 ahh bless you, I can imagine it’s just boring waiting. Hope it doesn’t drag to much for you! Wowsers! You are most definitely covered then 😆. Brilliant it’s moving forward. Hope scan goes well. When will you get the results from that?

@GlassLily could you of missed your peak? Sounds as if you could of ovulated. Keep testing with the OPK’s though just in case.

@GlassLily I'd ignore RHR tbh and trust the OPKs. AF did show - CD3 today! So bored of this now. Next thing to focus on is my follow up appointment on the 25th.

@mumof23188 glad all is progressing well for you! What's the next scan/appointment at this stage?
