Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 5

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@gezelligheid eeek good luck 🤞

mumof23188 · 23/02/2021 18:32

@LarasMama how are you lovely?

@Moominmiss how are you feeling? Hope all is well 💕

Moominmiss · 23/02/2021 18:45

@mumof23188 hello lovely, how are you doing?

How far are you now? When is your 12 week scan?

I’m doing well thank you. I had a scan last week at 8+4 where baby measured 8+5. Was lovely, baby was moving a lot and waving.

I have my booking appointment this week. I’m currently 9+2 (based on my dates, or 9+3 going from the scan).

Hopefully will get my 12 week scan appointment through shortly after that appointment.

I have a scan at the weekend which I’m equally nervous and excited for.

I will also then be having the SAFE nipt test done on Harley street in a few weeks time which includes a detailed scan. We’ll get to find out the sex from that test too which is exciting. Just have to hope all results come back as low risk for everything.

As for generally how I’m feeling I’m still struggling with nausea in the evenings. I’ve actually lost nearly half a stone so far (which i can totally afford to lose!)

I have quite a prominent ‘bump’ already. Assuming that’s down to it being my fourth baby and my tummy muscles being shot to pieces lol. I do remember with my third having a bump by the time I went to my 12 week scan.

I’m going to have to tell my boss after this weekends scan as it’s getting too difficult to hide it. Even my baggy tops are starting to cling to my bump.

I hope you’re doing ok! X

I'm having horrible cramps tonight but I'm also constipated (tmi sorry) so maybe that's why!

GlassLily · 23/02/2021 20:15

@gezelligheid progesterone slows down your digestion.... 😬🤞🏻 Even if it's constipation cramps, maybe could be caused by a progesterone surge, which makes sense with your chart!

LarasMama · 23/02/2021 20:59

@mumof23188 Hi dear, I’m doing well, how are you? So lovely to hear from you! 🥰 How’s little baby been? How far along are you now?

Unfortunately my cycle really seems to be a little out of whack. I had a super short but heavy period of 2,5 days (sorry tmi), then ovulated super early on CD9 and now I’m just waitint to see what my lp will be like. But if you look at my chart you can tell something is off unless my fitbit is not working properly anymore. I attached some screenshots for comparison.

@gezelligheid hope it’s good news for you today!

@GlassLily how are you getting on? Think I’m 10dpo today and don’t even have my normal PMS symptoms so now not convinced I ovulated 😂 RHR has been pretty flat for last two weeks

mumof23188 · 24/02/2021 08:40

@Moominmiss lovely to hear from you ☺️. I am doing ok thank you, still struggling with pretty bad nausea and sickness. I can’t eat really. Just small bits here and there. I’m 11 weeks tomorrow going by first scan. My scan is on the 8th March, so not long to wait. I’m so desperate for another scan but OH says no 😱. I am so pleased to hear that baby is growing well, must be amazing seeing them grow and change 😍. There’s always an element of worry when it comes to a scan. I’m so worried for mine. Hope booking appointment goes well. My midwife is the same lady I had with my DS! Not that you see them much 🤣. Sorry to hear you are also struggling with nausea, I totally feel you on that. I just want to eat, I’m so hungry but as soon as I eat I’m so sick. Never heard of the SAFE nipt will have a read, how exciting find out the sex! Fingers crossed all comes back low risk. Lovely to have a bump already ❤️, I can see my uterus when I suck in. Think I will definitely show earlier this time. This will be my third! Hope it goes well with telling your boss ☺️. Are you on any groups on here? Xx

@LarasMama ahhh hello lovely ☺️. I’m glad you are doing well. How’s DD? I’m ok thank you, just sick 🤣. 11 weeks tomorrow! Oh boo, I’m sorry to hear that. Frustrating!! Can definitely see the difference in your charts. Have you ever ovulated that early before? Hopefully you can find out what’s going on at your appointment. It’s nearly March now ☺️.

Juno231 · 24/02/2021 09:35

@LarasMama ah I'm sorry your body is playing tricks on you! If you based ovulation on LH surges it might not be right? Carry on DTD just in case!

@gezelligheid your chart looks so promising and I agree about CBD being a bad idea this early on so fingers crossed for today!

@mumof23188 @Moominmiss ooh I've always planned on doing a harmony/safe type scan around week 10 - purely cause OH will be dying to find out if it's a boy or girl. How exciting that both of your pregnancies are progressing nicely - can't wait to see the next scan pics!

@mumof23188 I am sorry you're still feeling sick though - reckon that will get better soon if you're already 11 weeks though?

FRER still hasn't arrived from amazon but wondfo did (they got delivered last night same day delivery!) so I did this test this morning. I can see a faint line but is it an indent or an actual line? Also how reliable are these tests?

Or maybe I just have line eyes and I'm wishful thinking 😂

TryingToNotTry · 24/02/2021 10:19

@gezelligheid I definitely see something! How many dpo are you today? Your rhr rises looks promising, are they still on the rise?

gezelligheid · 24/02/2021 10:19

And for anyone interested in my RHR chart, AF was due yesterday and I'm at a whopping 77bpm! Just hope that line is real and frer comes quick to confirm 🥺

gezelligheid · 24/02/2021 10:21

Sorry @TryingToNotTry I cross posted with you there! I ovulated on 9th Feb so 15dpo today. Still rising, at 77bpm now. A few days ago I was like "its never been this high!" and now it's getting even higher every day 🤯

TryingToNotTry · 24/02/2021 10:28

Very interesting @gezelligheid! I hope the FRER comes yesterday so that you can get an answer Wink. When should they arrive?

I looked again and I see a line, here's to hoping the tests are just weaker and not as strong to detect like a FRER. Positive thinking! Daffodil

gezelligheid · 24/02/2021 10:35

@TryingToNotTry it's with amazon prime so any time today before 10pm. I will hopefully do one tonight then one in the morning 😊

GlassLily · 24/02/2021 10:39

@gezelligheid I see a line but I couldn't tell you if it's an indent or not. Fingers crossed for FRER. RHR is looking great!

My chart is pretty boring, it has been revising itself all over the place. It's looking negative but I'm trying not to read too much into it at this stage - recently my chart is a little weird anyway.

GlassLily · 24/02/2021 10:40

I'm actually thinking to test at 12DPO because I've gone a little wacky this month stressing about it and trying to symptom spot. Would rather be put out of my misery sooner!

GlassLily · 24/02/2021 10:41

@gezelligheid how many DPO are you?

Juno231 · 24/02/2021 10:47

@gezelligheid I can see something faint but I'm thinking at 15DPO it should be a very clear line? I don't want to be the party pooper though by saying that :(

OP posts:
LS2020 · 24/02/2021 10:53

@gezelligheid I can see something but agree would expect to see something more at 15dpo. My only hope I can give you is that I got a positive on a clearblue digital before I got a positive on one of those strips so I stopped using them as didn’t think they were reliable at all. When’s your FRER due?

LS2020 · 24/02/2021 10:54

@GlassLily feeling you this month I’m the same - RHR just stuck and gave zero even AF symptoms. Normally have cramps and sore boobs and nothing 😔

gezelligheid · 24/02/2021 10:55

@GlassLily I'm 15dpo now

@Juno231 don't worry I thought the same. With my son (he's 9) I didn't get a positive until 2 weeks late though, confirmed by an early scan that same week that I was 6+4 so I dunno if I have a lower hcg rise naturally or this is negative 🙁 I guess we will see once the FRER tests arrive. But I was definitely hoping to see a clear line.

Does anyone know if FRER are more sensitive than these wondfo cheap tests?

TTC2021x · 24/02/2021 10:56

I can see a line @gezelligheid but I would say the FRER will give you a more reliable answer! Hurry up Amazon!!! 😂

Fran2020 · 24/02/2021 13:12

@mumof23188 hey, how are you? Sorry to hear about your nausea, I hope it gets better soon!
Sorry I took some time off Mumsnet. The hycosy went well and showed both tubes clear (only one was clear when I had the HSG), 12 follicles on one side and 13 on the other, they did still think they could see a polyp. My AMH came back at the lower end of the satisfactory range. I am on CD23 in the first month since the hycosy and trying to keep positive. Next step if my period comes on is to have another ultrasound after it to see if the polyp goes. If not, I need a hysteroscopy to remove it, but that waiting list is long at the moment. After that, it'd be IVF- not sure how I'm feeling tbh, guess I will do some research if it comes to that!
