Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@Moominmiss I can’t find it!!! The thread has disappeared. Let me know if you want to join the Facebook group tho ☺️

@lucyrp oh bless you! I’ve never suffered like this, I did have sickness with my DD though but never this bad. 🤢 yes I can imagine that’s not pleasant. I’d quite happily not eat again. I hate being sick!!! Oh dear, mums can be awkward sometimes, hopefully she comes round. Pay!! 😳. We don’t live near any family so that makes it tricky for us.

lucyrp · 30/01/2021 13:36

@mumof23188 I don't think I was this bad last time because I didn't get any anti sickness but I think I'm just older and not as well prepared for it 🤣🤣 yeah I hate being sick especially this kind of sick because sometimes I have to stick my fingers down my throat to actually get it to come up but others my body just heaved and heaves and heaves and it hurts my throat😭🤢 I used to pay her £200 a month so not too bad. I pay her £100 a month now for school drop offs and pick ups so it'll be £300 a month for both of them but nothing compared to £860 for nursery costs 😳😳

Kona84 · 30/01/2021 14:45

@GlassLily yeah I kept getting positives for 2 weeks after miscarriage it was so frustrating.

lucyrp · 30/01/2021 14:50

Yay I finally got my scan letter. A week on Monday and il be 12+2 😁

LS2020 · 30/01/2021 15:49

@Fran2020 when I went to get my day 3s after my day 21 the nurse told me ‘in the 20 years of her nursing, she’s never ever heard of’ and basically said I was making up needing doing when the first nurse had told me at the day 21. She went to speak to that nurse and came around and said basically as day 21 were fine, didn’t need to have day 3 🙄 so ofc first thing the fertility doctor says is I need to come back and have but would have had to have one for Vit d so guess isn’t the worst. I think swabs are because she didn’t have the results back for the consultation so thought they were missing so will ask when I’m there.

@mumof23188 it’s the 12th so be nice to have with Valentine’s over the weekend this time 😊 I know I’m always gonna be such a nightmare with RHR as last time my RHR didn’t start rising til 12dpo when got BFP so I’m always gonna tell myself I’ve still got time haha. I’m a bit upset over it though because had such good symptoms this month - had cramping daily and such a stretching full feeling/pressure that I thought something may be happening but doesn’t look like it!!

Juno231 · 30/01/2021 15:56

@lucyrp feck I didn't realise childcare was cheaper in Wales as well - it's £1.5k per kid where I am 😭. No family at all to help out either - bugger! Are you feeling any better today?

@LS2020 I know what you mean - I started with the blood tests in July as well and originally didn't have a fertility referral booked in until the 17th of May so I'm conscious all this stuff can take ages! How's your rhr today? I'm hoping yday was a blip.

@GlassLily @gezelligheid what's today's update? I'm hoping it was just freak bleeding still - but then again I've been known to test after AF just in case so my optimism is perhaps silly at times...

@Moominmiss so happy for you and wow what an amazing doctor! How come they put you on progesterone BTW - do they reckon the previous losses were due to low progesterone?

Well I'm CD14 with nothing on the opks so far but my rhr makes me think it should happen in the next couple of days.

@Juno231 it works out about £38 a day around me😳yeah feeling slightly better but not as good as I have some days! Haven't eaten anything today yet apart from a piece of toast

Moominmiss · 30/01/2021 16:32

@Juno231 my doctor was so lovely, I was very lucky. All the doctors are very nice, but this was one I’d never seen before.

So I actually wasn’t expecting to be put on progesterone as when I had my day 21 bloods back in the summer my progesterone was 67 so a good level. But the nurse in the EPU said that progesterone is often prescribed to ladies that have had recurrent losses as it can just give the boost your body needs to hold on. She obviously told me that it won’t stop a miscarriage if there’s something wrong with the pregnancy, but should prevent a spontaneous miscarriage.

🤞🏻 For ovulation for you in the next few days!!!

SS123456 · 30/01/2021 17:13

@Moominmiss I have been on progesterone since 4 weeks pregnant and will stop it at 12 weeks (I'm currently 10 weeks)

Moominmiss · 30/01/2021 17:46

Thank you @SS123456, we’re you also put on it due to previous losses? Or just low progesterone?

I’ve been told they want me on it until 16 weeks.

SS123456 · 30/01/2021 18:05

@Moominmiss my progesterone 21 day test came back fine but I was put on it as a precaution due to a previous loss. I'll never know if it helped or not as it may just be coincidence but so far all is going well so it was worth a shot 😊

mumof23188 · 30/01/2021 18:57

@lucyrp I’m definitely contacting the doctors Monday. Poor you 😩 it’s horrible. Hope it eases soon for you. That’s definitely a decent saving haha. Nursery fees are outrageous!! I remember getting one in December for my DD which was just over a grand!! I will never forget that and she’s now 9 🤣. Yay to scan letter arriving! Can’t wait to guess!!

@LS2020 ahh lovely ☺️ that will be so nice with V day. Have you got any plans? I know you can’t do a lot out the house though, bloody lockdown 😩. You definitely do still have time though 🤞. As you said yours didn’t rise til your BFP last time ☺️

I’ve been wearing my Apple Watch most of today and RHR is 65bpm where as on the Fitbit it was showing as 64bpm so wonder which one is more accurate?!!

Fran2020 · 30/01/2021 19:53

@mumof23188 it's strange as it was so consistent when I was using opks at around Cd11-13!! Oh well, I will keep waiting! Still no spotting 😬🤞🏼 Nope, I've not tried bbt as it'd be something else to obsess over which is why I stopped using opks.

@LS2020 Ahhh yes, I vaguely remember you saying about that before! At least you're finally getting it done! 😊

mumof23188 · 30/01/2021 20:22

@Fran2020 that is really strange when you’ve always been so regular! Yes keep waiting lovely. When will you test? That’s brilliant that you’ve not spotted 🤞😄. Oh yes sorry, I remember you saying you had stopped. It’s hard not to obsess isn’t it.

Fran2020 · 30/01/2021 23:03

@mumof23188 very strange but it's giving me some hope. 😊🤞🏼Although it's so hard after so many months. Very hard to not obsess! And now every time I go to the toilet I expect there to be spotting 😕 I hate these days!! I thought I might test tomorrow morning but now I'm thinking to wait until CD31 as that would be longer than any of my cycles in the last 20 months. That would be Tuesday- do you think I can make it to then?!

Jess11397 · 31/01/2021 01:07

Hi I found this post I was wandering if anyone could tell if I ovulated and if so when I had mark my cycle with red line there isn’t many post about rhr and fertility

LS2020 · 31/01/2021 06:58

@Juno231 still at same level but think AF has shown up 3 days before... never ever had a 24 day cycle so this is really weird. Only thing I can think is work is beyond stressful but surely that would delay AF? Also typical the month I’m booked in for day 3 bloods, will have to ring docs and hope I can move 😩

@mumof23188 no plans really, we’re both off work - mostly depends on weather it’s been turning so quick to freezing cold so don’t even want to book the local stately home grounds walk. There’s some really nice gardens/park with a takeaway tea room about a 25 min drive but think even that’s frowned on recalling that far now isn’t it? Think AF showed this morning, 24 day cycle is a bit concerning :(

@Fran2020 good luck with testing really hope it’s your month ❤️

@Jess11397 you’ve not attached a picture 😊

lucyrp · 31/01/2021 07:45

@mumof23188 well I wasn't sick yesterday but I did get up and take an anti sickness really early in the morning and went back to sleep so maybe that kept it away. I did try to be sick at like 12ish but couldn't because I felt the urge. Yeah definitely so worth it in the long run but would rather I didn't have to pay my mum to look after her grandchildren but hey ho🙄🤣 so excited! And my OH is allowed to come too🥰

lucyrp · 31/01/2021 07:46

@Fran2020 good luck with testing whenever you choose to 🥰

GlassLily · 31/01/2021 08:23

@juno231 No real update, still a faint line, think it's getting fainter. Bought some FRER so will do one of those tomorrow. HR still down at AF level same as before.

@gezelligheid any updates?

mumof23188 · 31/01/2021 09:22

@Fran2020 ohh it’s horrible isn’t it! It’s been so long for you 😩. I think that sounds great 👍 also you could test Monday on CD30? How are you today?

@lucyrp yay to no sick!! Hope this is the new normal for you. I was sick again yesterday afternoon through to the evening 😩. Wouldn’t mind so much if it was just the eve but I feel sick all bloody day long. 🤣🤣 when you put it like that haha. Ahh amazing that your OH can go with you 😁.

@LS2020 ahh i know what you mean, it’s so cold isn’t it. Hate the cold weather. It is frowned upon but at the same time I think looking after your mental health is really important so if you want to do that go for it. I would! Oh no bloody way!! Definitely AF? I’m sorry 😩😩. I’m hoping it’s not!!

mumof23188 · 31/01/2021 09:24

@Jess11397 hi! No picture attached ☺️. Are you a new user?

LS2020 · 31/01/2021 10:51

@mumof23188 I have no idea, I was in so much pain last night with cramps and then had like blood first two times I wiped this morning but then nothing. This happened last month I think though, had similar early evening then when I woke up next day full AF had arrived so will have to see :s deffo think AF is arriving tho cos RHR is so low

Fran2020 · 31/01/2021 11:41

Morning, how is everyone today? CD29 today and no spotting for me still 🤞🏼

@LS2020 thank you so much!! 😬🤞🏼is it definitely AF which has arrived or could it be spotting?

@lucyrp Thank you! 😊

@mumof23188 it really is 😔 I really didn't think it would be like this, with the mention of IVF from the consultants secretary. I could but thinking the later I can leave it, if I am pregnant it would be clearer on a test! I want it to be obvious haha! I only have one FRER, a few ICs and a few preg tests for the CBFM (that are like 50mlU). I'm ok, a little bit headachy (always suffer) but still no spotting! How are you?

lucyrp · 31/01/2021 11:43

@mumof23188 weighed myself this morning and I've lost a whole stone since I've become pregnant😱😱 yeah my sickness is all day normally
