Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@mumof23188 aww lovely!😍 yeah I'm not eating much more than before and things I normally like still aren't appetising I have to think about something for a few hours before I can actually eat it. My OH is definitely going to hate me tonight I'm so angry over nothing😂 and my boss just sent over a really long email asking loads of stuff and I it's taken me over the edge. I can't wait to tell her I'm pregnant next week and actually everything has been hard work for the past 2 months so anything she's got off me is a bonus 😂I think the post should have been by now it normally comes at like 11 or by 1/2 and I haven't seen her today. I rang the hospital to see if there was anything on the system and she put me through to ultrasound department but it just kept ringing and ringing and then hung up on me .....

Fran2020 · 29/01/2021 14:21

When I used to track with opks I used to get peak on around day 11/12. I'm no looking tracking opks any more but this months info looks like this... when do you think I ovulated?!

@Fran2020 I'd guess a bit later this time! You could just be 6-7DPO atm so maybe best to hold off testing until early next week unless you get some really obvious signs?

I haven't got a scoobie about the hycosy to be honest. Hospitals near me aren't even doing the fertility appointments anymore so I'm lucky my one does them over the phone still. It's only a part time gyno dept so I would guess things like a hycosy would have to be referred to st thomas hospital instead perhaps.

Thing is the fertility doc I've been assigned has a fertility clinic near my office so I'm tempted to ask her if I can just have it done privately whilst I wait for the 2 year mark of TTC?

@mumof23188 I’m doing ok, lockdown was getting to me so I took a few days off. 🙈 I’m feeling better now. 🙏🏻 How have you been? You’re RHR is so interesting. Goes to show that every pregnancy is different. 🥰

So I had another really strong OPK and very strong ovulation pains an hour ago. So glad that I did ovulate this cycle. 😊
We only dtd once this cycle last night. So I’m not sure that’s enough. Would you recommend going for it again tonight. Assuming I really ovulated an hour ago what are the chances of dtd tonight and even tomorrow? Is there a point?

LS2020 · 29/01/2021 17:25

@Juno231 @Fran2020 I rang today funnily and they said same, Hycosy are on hold at the minute but I can still do my internal scan which I’m going to book in for mid March and I’m booked in Friday to get day 3s taken and have swabs done again.

My process has been went to GP about late July - got day 21 bloods done quick and only issue was low Vit D. OH SA got done late august and mostly fine though low morphology (3%) but doctor wasn’t worried (funnily enough I ovulated week after and got pregnant so mustn’t be!) . Had a follow up call early September and went for referral.

Finally got a telephone appointment with fertility clinic end of November which then got put on 10 week Vit d course and have to have bloods next week for day 3 and to check Vit D levels. Sent me for smear and swabs too and referred for me internal scan and Hycosy. So will get scan done in March and then hopefully Hycosy soon after. Juno I would get ball rolling if that’s what you want to do as it will be a year before we even start talking about treatment and I’ll be at 2 year mark. I deffo think because of the mc that they’re less concerned which is a bit annoying. But only other thing for me is weight - BMI is 29 so just trying to get that down while in lockdown.

I’m in two head spaces at the moment as really want the baby but read up on IVF the other day and freaked myself out 😂

Moominmiss · 29/01/2021 17:44

@mumof23188 so after a doctors appointment yesterday, pretty routine one. She did my blood pressure which was sky high. Got talking to her about my anxieties over this pregnancy due to my 4 miscarriages, and she was SO lovely. She said she’d refer me to EPAU for a reassurance scan. Well they phoned me and got me in this afternoon!!!

Was a bit worried as I’m only 5+5 but saw a perfect bean with a gorgeous flickering heartbeat!! I’m measuring bang on.

Must have been fate to be sent to EPAU today because on the way home the private scan company rang me about Sunday’s scan and said they’d have to cancel or rearrange as their sonographer is off unwell. They offered to move it to next weekend so I had to admit i already have one booked for next week too🙈

So now I have just over a week to wait until I’ll hopefully see baby again at 7 weeks!

The EPAU also prescribed me progesterone pessaries to use until 16 weeks.

So the Fitbit is coming off for now. Watching it drop has been torture!

Thank you for reassuring me that everything would be ok! You were right! For now things are looking perfect and that’s what I’ll focus on ❤️

lucyrp · 29/01/2021 18:25

@Moominmiss wow that's very lucky ! You must have had a really lovely doctor! I asked for a reassurance one after my MMC and said how anxious I was and just got told flatly no you have to wait til 12 weeks! Omg you saw a heartbeat at 5+5?

LarasMama · 29/01/2021 18:37

@Moominmiss That must have been a relief! And so sweet that you got to listen to your baby's heartbeat! 🥰

Moominmiss · 29/01/2021 18:37

@lucyrp the GP I saw was so so lovely. Nicest one I’ve seen. She was so sympathetic when I told her about my losses. Said she wondered if perhaps my high blood pressure was related to my anxiety. She literally called the EPAU while I was there and explained and then said someone should call me back this weekend sometime. But I had a call to get me in today.

I felt sick with nerves. They tried abdominal first and saw nothing so I was fearing the worst, but after what felt like forever while she was going the tv scan she turned the screen towards me and showed me the flickering heartbeat. She asked how far I thought I was and I said 5+5 and she said it looks bang on for that. She said she’d have said just under 6 weeks.

Then on my way home my GP rang me to see if I had any update and she was over the moon. She said if I want her to refer me for a further reassurance scan before the 12 week one then to let her know and she’ll do the referral again. But I have 2 private ones booked so won’t need them.

I totally hadn’t expected to see much, if anything, so to see the heartbeat was incredible. I cried. I hadn’t even told my partner I was going as I was so certain there wouldn't be anything to see!

mumof23188 · 29/01/2021 20:42

@Fran2020 thank you 😘. I had one this week on Wednesday.

I would definitely go with the last day of EWCM. You could possibly tried to of ovulated when you got the first lot and then your body tried again and succeeded with the second lot. Really hope this is your month 🤞🤞.

@lucyrp I’m pretty much the same. Can’t eat much at all. Had dinner tonight and I’ve been sick about 5 times since, not just a bit either. Full on chucking my guts up 😩. HHaaha 🤣 I feel a bit sorry for the men but then again I don’t really 😄. Oh I feel you, somethings just tip you over the edge. How do you think your boss will take the news? I always hated that part, I’m a SAHM now (I hate the term) do miss my job though! Wow can’t believe you’ve had no luck. I’d be fuming! Have you spoken to your midwife?

@LarasMama oh bless you, it is so hard isn’t it. I’m hating lockdown. How is it all going over in Germany? Are there any shops open? What about schools? How’s your DD? Glad you are feeling better now 🥰. I’m doing ok, feel horrendous all day long though plus the sickness is horrible but it’s all for a good reason ☺️.

Yay to ov pains and another peak 🎉. Definitely dtd again tonight and tomorrow if you can. Fingers crossed 🤞 last night is great because the sperm will be waiting and then tonight there will be some new ones to join the race! As @Juno231 says if In doubt bang it out 🤣🤣

mumof23188 · 29/01/2021 20:47

@Moominmiss wow I am absolutely over the moon to see your message. I’m so so happy for you ❤️. Beautiful scan picture and how amazing to see your bean and their heartbeat. Strong little bean you have there ☺️. Your GP sounds fantastic I’m so pleased that she listened to your concerns and amazing that the epu got you in so soon.

Yes take the Fitbit off and relax 🥰🥰

When is your due date?

lucyrp · 29/01/2021 20:49

@mumof23188 I had a hot cross bun for breakfast and then a fish finger sandwich for dinner and then I threw that back up early evening and haven't stopped throwing up since. Been sick about 6 times which is the most I've had in one day its normally max 4. And I thought I was getting better 🙄🤣 I think she'll be excited for me but annoyed too. She knows we've been ttc for ages and I was waiting for fertility help but we're going through a recruitment freeze in work at the moment and there's only 6 of us and should be like 15 minimum 😬🤣 3 other girls have had babies in the last year from work so it's my turn now 😂 my boss went through ivf too so she knows the struggles. I want to be a sahm but not until I'm older which by thay point the kids will probably have left home 🤣 nope she still hadn't called me back since Wednesday !

GlassLily · 29/01/2021 20:49

@Moominmiss wow, congratulations! Looks fantastic. So pleased it's all ok. And also another great success story for next time someone has a big drop and fears the worst!

Thank you @fran2020 🙂

@Juno231 I felt exactly the same, like I would just never see a line. I've only ever seen stark white so I had decided it would just never happen and I was totally barren. I didn't even feel different this cycle, I was amazed when the line made an appearance. Now I think, maybe that was just a phase and my body hadn't kicked into gear yet? And you never know when it will suddenly figure out what it's meant to do, and get down to the baby making business! I bet yours will come soon too. I've seen loads of people saying they've tried for ages, for over 2 years even, then one day it's like the penny just drops and their uterus suddenly works out what to do 🤣 I'm sure we just have slow bodies, that's all

Moominmiss · 29/01/2021 21:23

Thank you @GlassLily yes, I had been totally fearing the worst. And I know it’s still early and anything could still happen, but I’d totally assumed the drop meant I’d already lost it.

@mumof23188 I’m so unbelievably relieved for the time being. My due date currently is 26th September 🤞🏻

gezelligheid · 29/01/2021 21:59

So I attached my chart earlier. I had a positive test, AF was late.. But then came on 25th and lasted until early evening of 26th but it was quite heavy.

Today (29th) I've started spotting lightly after sex but not enough to fill a panty liner or anything, just after I wiped post sex.

Also this morning my nipples were like burning if you know what I mean? Like they felt so sore and sensitive and burnt like rug burn or when you've been on the sun beds. They were sore anyway. I'm gonna test in the morning cos I did have a positive test before I started bleeding.

Has anyone bled enough for them to think it was their period and still ended up being pregnant? Or should I not get my hopes up?

Alicespring · 29/01/2021 23:10

@gezelligheid

I bled a bit at 6 weeks. Call epu they should see you since you have had a positive pregnancy test. The hormones can stay in your system for weeks even if you're no longer pregnant so that might not be an accurate way to check.

Hope everything is okay

LS2020 · 30/01/2021 06:26

@Moominmiss so pleased everything looks ok ❤️ Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and yes try not to focus on the Fitbit too much!

LS2020 · 30/01/2021 06:27

Well this is me at 10dpo 🙃 seeing the upside as I can drink for my birthday now 🤣

Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 5
Fran2020 · 30/01/2021 11:32

@Juno231 Hmm maybe, I've held off testing again today and none of my usual pre AF spotting still (CD28 today). I definitely reckon this is a longer cycle for me but the longest they've been is 30 days. But I guess bodies are capable of doing anything so could be even longer I guess! Just to confuse me haha!
Yeah I was lucky to have the consultation over the phone and get the AMH blood test. Yeah you could ask about having it privately - it could be worth it and no delay things.

@LS2020 That's frustrating for you too about the hycosy and they also don't know when they will start again. Good you've got booked in for an internal scan though! How come your having a swab and 3 day tests done again? Is it to check your vit D levels? The thought of ivf seems so full on and baffling!!!

@Moominmiss Awww!! Congratulations! Lovely to hear your news and about the strong heart beat!

@mumof23188 Aww lovely!! Hmmm yeah that's a good point, I didn't think of attempted ovulation. So do I!! 🤞🏼

GlassLily · 30/01/2021 11:52

@gezelligheid it sounds a bit similar to what is happening to me at the moment, I think some people can have bleeding and still be pregnant but I think it's pretty overwhelmingly a bad sign at this stage. I am 100% assuming I am not pregnant anymore as I've had such heavy bleeding.

Still getting a line on a pregnancy test but I think it's just my body is still catching up with what's happening. Sorry not to be more positive - if your bleeding is not a full flow then it might be a totally different situation to me! I think some brown blood is ok.

mumof23188 · 30/01/2021 12:45

@lucyrp oh poor you. It’s so horrible! Did you suffer badly with your DS? I love a fish finger sandwich 🤣. I try and base my food on what wouldn’t be so bad coming back up haha. Last night was the most I’ve been sick. Usually it’s a couple of times. That’s great that you know she will be excited for you. I think all bosses get a bit annoyed when you announce 🤣. Oh wow, a bit short staffed then. I never intended to stay home but the cost of childcare for two was going to be insane so we decided it was for the best. I will definitely be returning to work once the kid’s get a bit older. I miss using my brain and the social side of it. Annoying!! Hope they pull their finger out ASAP!!

@Moominmiss I’m so relieved for you too ☺️. Ahh lovely 🥰. Have you joined the September due thread yet?

@LS2020 when’s your birthday lovely? You aren’t out until AF comes!!

@Fran2020 yes from what I’ve read on here it can happen. So late ov means longer cycle 😩. Have you ever tried bbt?

@gezelligheid how’s the test results looking today? Is the line getting darker?

@GlassLily I’m sorry 😢. It can take a while for the line to fade out sometimes.

mumof23188 · 30/01/2021 12:46

I’ve switched to my Apple Watch now! I’ve had it for a couple of years but didn’t get on with it! I’m hoping it stops me obsessing 🤣

Moominmiss · 30/01/2021 12:48

Thank you everyone for the well wishes.

@mumof23188 I took my Fitbit off last night and have just put my regular watch on now. It feels so liberating to not be religiously checking my app. I currently have no clue what my rhr is and it feels great!

Ignorance is definitely bliss!

I don’t know if I’ve joined a September thread. I don’t think so. Will have to have a look! Thank you xx

mumof23188 · 30/01/2021 12:50

@Moominmiss yay!! Completely agree with you. So glad you are feeling better.

Yes have a look. We’re on a Facebook group. Not sure if you are up for that but I will tag you on the thread ☺️ Xx

lucyrp · 30/01/2021 12:52

@mumof23188 yeah that was the reason I found out I was pregnant. I'd been sick and really ill for 2 months and my mum said I think you should take a pregnancy test and I was more than 8 weeks when I found out. It carried on until 12 weeks from what I can remember. Citrus stuff isn't fun coming back up 🤢 I'm so lucky as with my DS my mum had him whenever I worked and she's been a bit funny about having the next one but I think she's just being awkward for the hell of it so hoping she'll have them for me so I can return after 9 months. I still have to pay her 🙄
