Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@SS123456 ahhh so cute! Mad to think my little baby looks very similar to yours now! I think you're only a couple of days behind me !

@lucyrp I thought I was 10+0 today but they dated me 9+6. It was so strange seeing it kick and wriggle about when you can't feel it at all

@SS123456 ooo okay you're roughly a week behind me then I think as I should be 11 weeks on Saturday. Although at my last scan I got dated 2 days more than I thought but just carrying on by my date until 12 weeks and see where we are then

@Juno231 oh right! I thought all the early result ones were similar 😬 I got 1-2 on a clear blue digital but started bleeding now 😓

Hey guys, not sure if anyone remembers me from a few months ago too! I stepped away from Mumsnet for a bit to not obsess as much!!

Well we are now in month 20 of TTC with AF due at the weekend (ish). Since Monday I've really not been feeling myself, really seek and just not right. Plus a whole load of other 'symptoms'. I want to be optimistic but after so long, it's hard!

How is everyone? Those who are pregnant - congratulations! What symptoms did you have? Did your RHR keep going up before the BFP?

I feel like I have missed so much on here! So many lovely scans!

So I am CD9 and got what looks like a positive OPK! I guess CD10/11 isn't too bad for ovulation, right? When I conceived dd I ovulated on CD11. Fingers crossed that I will ovulate and have a normal cycle. 🙏🏻

@lucyrp yes I did indeed ☺️. No worries. It’s easy to miss posts isn’t it. Glad to hear you are well. How’s the sickness now? Wow 11 weeks!!! Can’t believe how fast time goes. Haha hormones have a lot to answer for don’t they 🤣. To be fair though I would be pissed off about that, hopefully you hear soon. Let’s hope she posts it today!

Have you had any spotting? If I remember rightly you spot before AF? Sounds promising but I totally understand why you aren’t feeling hopeful. Let’s hope this is it!!! Will you test or wait for AF to be late?

I didn’t really have many symptoms before mine, just exhausted, nauseous and gassy but that’s normal pms for me. My HR was up and down, I didn’t get a big rise like others have.

@LarasMama thank you lovely ☺️. How are you doing? Yes that’s definitely a peak there 🎉. Agreed it’s not bad at all, I also conceived my DS on a CD11 ovulation. Fingers crossed for you!! Your HR is on the rise already! Hopefully this cycle is normal for you and even better you get a BFP!!!

Definitely mc now. RHR started dropping significantly around CD28, but then BFP on CD30 and again on CD31. Bleeding started on CD31.

@mumof23188 thank you... I'm ok. Just weepy. But all in all I feel lucky to have had a BFP, it's good to know I can get one! Definitely sticking with the B complex. And of course some people say you are more fertile in the next cycle after mc, so perhaps next time.

@Fran2020 I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I first tested at 13dpo. The only reason I tested was that my rhr had continued to rise and so had my bbt and that's how I knew ! Symptom wise I thought I felt sick etc but it was nothing compared to when I hit 6 weeks so didn't really have much else! Apart from I was exhausted immediately ! Il attach my chart below but the day highlighted is the day I tested.

@mumof23188 I'll have to go back and have a look for it! It has subsided a little. I'm rarely taking my anti sickness tablets and am only sick a few times a week although there probably is certain types of food that cause it but I haven't paid any attention to which 🤣 I know I'm so shocked in that far along alresdy! It means I've know for 7 weeks already 😱 I honestly feel sorry for my OH I've been so touchy recently and bursting into tears for even the smallest of things! Yeah I'm even more annoyed because I rang my birth unit on Wednesday and left a message for them to get back to me about it and no ones rang back yet and still no letter. Its a tiny cottage hospital too so they've definitely been in the office. I also got upset because we should get out letters 2 weeks before our appointment so started crying because il probably have to wait even longer for my scan 🙈🥺🤣

@GlassLily I'm really sorry to hear that, I have been there myself and it is crushing 😔. I fell pregnant on month 13 of ttc but mc'd at 5 weeks. I feared we would have another year of trying ahead of us but I fell again 2 months later on month 15 (just the one AF in between). The midwife said the mc likely kicked my body into gear and into 'baby mode' so hopefully you will have your sticky bean just around the corner 🤞🏻

Wow, good memory, yes I usually spot for 1-3 days before AF. Day 27 today and nothing yet. 🤞🏼I really don't know?! My cycles vary from 25-30 days so not sure if I should just wait for a bit?

That's interesting... since Monday I have had an on/ off twitching right eye, been really gassy, felt strange in the tummy, had a bloody nose a couple of times, felt sicky, had a runny nose, back ache, generally achy too and vivid dreams. But I guess it could all be PMS! My RHR is down again today.

@lucyrp Congratulations! That's interesting as it was rising but some days were lower by the look of your graph. As mine has dropped today. I'm sure the sicky feeling I've had is nothing like what it could be!!!

@Fran2020 yeah definitely I think the drop at 7dpo was implantation but as it was rising generally I was interested to test as I hadn't had such a clear pattern before! Unfortunately I've felt sick and been sick ever since my BFP 🤣🙈

I’ve marked ovulation and my bfp on it. Just shows the huge drop

@lucyrp Hmm yeah it definitely could've been implantation. It's really interesting! I'm not sure whether to test or wait it out?!

@Juno231 my doctors have been a bit of a mare, I got my smear done October so nurse said they’ll ask for the STD swabs so she’d do them but they’ve asked me to go again (although not sure she had those results when we first spoke) so I would just let them do it as they’ll just make you do again I imagine.

@Fran2020 hey love! I’m at 18/19 months so right there with you ❤️ Have you started your referrals to fertility clinic yet?

Last month I posted my positive test and I ended up getting AF :( anyway, I am still trying and this month AF was late by a few days and I tested positive again then started bleeding. I only bled for 1.5 days but it was heavy.

So, here is where I'm confused. Usually my RHR drops quite a bit when I bleed but this time it only dropped by 2bpm and has gone straight back up higher than it was all cycle.

Anyone had a similar situation or any idea of why this is happening?

@GlassLily I'm so sorry - I was hopeful that it would just be some light bleeding when you wrote that yesterday :(

@gezelligheid I've seen other ladies on MN have decent bleeds and think it was them out but were actually still pregnant. Have you tested again - is the line progressing?

@LarasMama thank you - I think I'll wait then. Had my smear in Sep and pretty sure they did one then but had a feeling they'll make me do one anyway just like you said!

@Fran2020 lovely to see you again! Sorry to hear you made it to month 20. Your RHR sounds super promising though, when are planning on testing?

@LS2020 lovely to speak to you again and sorry to hear that you're also still trying. I've had one virtual appointment which referred me for an AMH blood test (had it last Friday and waiting for results) and she also wants me to have a hycosy to look for a potential polyp (but they are not doing those right now because of COVID). How about you?

@Juno231 lovely to speak to you again too! How are you doing? Hmm I'm not so sure as it has dropped today. I really don't know? Im CD27 today and part of me is tempted to wait until CD31 or something. What would you do?

Thanks @Juno231, I was hoping too. It's been a tough couple of days. Perhaps the next one will stick. I'm convinced the B complex is a game changer for me. Weirdly I now have a new level of hope for future cycles!

@Moominmiss I know nothing will stop you from worrying, but we have definitely seen drops like this from others where it was completely fine - probably just your body getting used to the new normal!

@lucyrp it’s a tiny little dot with a super strong heartbeat 😍. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I’m struggling to eat atm and living on toast and ready salted crisps! Didn’t feel this bad with my two DC. Time really does fly 😱. Haha your poor OH, hormones are evil things aren’t they. My OH always comments about my last pregnancy, don’t think he will ever forget my hormonal rages 🤣. Wow that’s just not on, keep calling them until they pull their finger out. What time does the postwoman stroll past your house? Hopefully she has it today!!

@Fran2020 thank you so much 😊. Going by my own dates I’m 7+4 or going by my scan I’m 7+2.

So realistically you’ve got up to 3 days before AF is late? Amazing that you haven’t had any spotting. Crossing everything!! Symptoms sound really promising aswell. How many Dpo do you think you are? I refrained and tested at 12dpo and got a super strong line but I did test at 10dpo with an OPK and got a positive on that. I’d say test at 12dpo whenever that is? 🤞🤞🤞

@gezelligheid sorry to hear you’ve had a bleed. Have you tested again now that it’s stopped?

@Moominmiss please please try not to worry. I’m sure all is well. It’s so hard emotionally in early pregnancy especially when you’ve been through a loss. Only a couple of days til your first scan. Just try to distract yourself. Take it each day at a time. Mine never reached a high level like others have and it hasn’t been consistent since my BFP. I’ve attached another pic of mine.

@GlassLily that's brilliant though - silver linings and all! I know it's terrible to say but I'm really worried I never had a whiff of a bfp, so i totally understand your relief in that your body was clearly able to!

@Fran2020 gosh I have never been able to test any later than 10dpo so I'm the wrong person to ask! CD31 sounds like a safe bet though if you can hold out that long. As for me - I'm cycle 14 now, waiting to ovulated this week. Got my fertility appointment on Monday and am hoping to get a hycosy done as soon as they let me.

Thank you, I'm crossing everything too! Every time I go to the toilet, I am dreading wiping! 😬 I'm not sure how many DPOs I am as I stopped using the OPKs. I got two lots of EWCM this month- a few days around when the opks used to say I had high/ peak fertility. A day with none then LOADS of better EWCM! Which probably means ovulated a little later. 🤷🏻‍♀️ so now I'm very confused haha - do you think I could have ovulated around the last day of ewcm?!

@Juno231 I've never had a whiff of a BFP either. So tempted to test over the weekend though as would probably rather find out that instead of before work. Maybe sunday?! That's good you have your fertility appointment on Monday! Do you know if they are doing hycosys in your area at the moment?
