@FlapJackered totally understandable - it's whatever makes you feel that bit more reassured. I had loads of scans, and don't regret them. How're you feeling?

@cupcakesandglitter ok thanks, still very anxious, I am 6+3 today and the tiredness and some nausea starting, which is actually a bit more reassuring! Scan booked for 4th so just one week to wait.

@cupcakesandglitter My blood pressure is a bit high and refusing to go down but baby is doing great! We named her Bella Scarlett. I'm in such disbelief!

@cupcakesandglitter @FlapJackered They moved me to my room now, blood pressure has gone down a bit. At least I can sleep in a better room lol. But it's definitely rough to move around

@KatBeCool ah fab - make sure you rest up as much as possible, birth recovery is tough!! So happy for you!!

@FlapJackered I'm ok more or less. My legs have swollen to whale size, milk hasn't come in yet. So baby is on formula.
Fingers crossed for your scan but sounds like you're going to do great and likely see the heartbeat!

@KatBeCool well done, hang in there! Those first weeks are hard, especially breast feeding. You're doing great. X

Scan went well! Measuring spot on and a lovely strong heartbeat 💓 so relieved!

@cupcakesandglitter We are finally home! What a trip! I was supposed to go home yesterday but baby decided to have jaundice so they put her on the lamp. She didn't like that a single bit. I barely slept trying to get her to stop crying. But her bilirubin got low enough for us to go home! And the milk started coming in too. Ohh the pain 😂

My sweet boy is two. He’s utterly wonderful and I’d love about 5 children but given how gammy my back and hips are after one, he may be an only child.

@ValidUser thank you! I'm still sometimes in disbelief.

@cupcakesandglitter BF is still a challenge. I'm just not producing enough. But that's what it is. Not like there's absolute proof that baby needs 100% breast milk instead of 30% plus formula, as far as their future life goes. I've recovered well, although I lost weight, now I'm below what I was before I got pregnant.

@KatBeCool of course, it's whatever works for you - so long as she's fed and you're both happy, it doesn't matter. You're doing great! Ahh I wonder if that's from BF? Some people really drop weight fast with it!

@cupcakesandglitter thanks, feeling pretty rough actually, morning sickness has been much worse than with my little boy, but just thankful that there are symptoms, although still worrying a lot as this was around the time it went wrong last time. So I have booked another scan for Saturday, hopefully that will calm the anxiety!
