Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@missbpotter yes please stay! I agree with @mumof23188 otherwise we'll kill the thread 😅. No pressure 😁.

@Mrsi2020 how are you doing

@mumof23188 I was being sick for weeks. Could hardly eat anything lived off ready salted crisps and runner beans 🤣 it was going well up until today kept rising then yesterday I had a huge peak of about 12bpm then it dipped by 15bpm today. So all over the place ! Xx

GlassLily · 16/12/2020 01:49

Wow congratulations @MissBPotter what a strong line! You must be so thrilled. I'm so happy for you. How many cycles have you been trying for? I'm on cycle 9 and trying to tell myself it still might happen. Ovulating today, but I could swear I only ever ovulate from my right side, I get a pain in my right hand side every month at this time!

Sorry I've been AWOL, I like to take a mn break when AF comes to have some downtime from worrying about TTC.

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 06:41

Ok I feel slightly more relaxed about things now. My rhr has started to rise and I got my 2-3 weeks digital this morning at 12dpo 😊. Phew!

@SS123456 you must have ovulated earlier than you thought if you've got your 2-3 before your period is due ? I've just got my 2-3 at 17dpo

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 07:08

@lucyrp it's strange as I don't think I did as I use opks and track my bbt. My temp did a rise on the 05/12 indicating that i ovulated on the 04/12 which matches my peak opk on the 04/12 too. I think I maybe implanted early perhaps as I felt some sharp twinges on one side at 5 and 6dpo. Just praying it's not a sign of a multiple pregnancy now...🙈

lucyrp · 16/12/2020 07:12

@SS123456 oh that's really odd! I think I implanted at 7dpo as I had a dip in my rhr but nothing on my bbt. That's weird that it's 2-3 before it actually is 2-3! Maybe you have seriously high levels of HCG immediately 🤣🙉 someone said because I had such a strong line at 13dpo that its probably twins and I was like no thank you 😳

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 07:17

@lucyrp maybe my urine was just more concentrated this morning which gave it a higher reading 🤷🏻‍♀️. I'm a slightly older mum at 37 and I know the chance of twins get greater as you get older so I'm a bit worried now 😂. Time will tell I guess!

Alicespring · 16/12/2020 07:29

@lucyrp @SS123456

I was pregnant with twins, hence why I got really strong lines.
Unfortunately only one heartbeat but apparently this is extremely common (called dissapearing twin syndrome) and I never would have known if I hadn't been scanned early.
So you guys could be!

lucyrp · 16/12/2020 07:31

@SS123456 omg 😳🤯 totally could be twins then!! Will you book for an early scan ??

@Alicespring oh wow that's really interesting! So sorry the other one didn't make it ☹️

gezelligheid · 16/12/2020 07:49

7dpo and my RHR has RISEN like never before. It's usually around 65 at this point in my cycle before dropping for AF. It was 71 on O day, then 70 1dpo, 69 at 2dpo and 3dpo and then rose to 71dpo the last few days. Today it went up to 73bpm. It has never been this high before!

gezelligheid · 16/12/2020 07:53

Here is my chart for reference. November 26 was CD1

@GlassLily thank you! Yay for ovulation! I am a bit embarrassed to say this was only my 2nd month trying. I think we are just very lucky. This will be (hopefully) dc 3 and we are slightly terrified as well!

@SS123456 that is super strong, it possibly could be twins but maybe just high hcg. I’m 37 in April, so also in the ‘slightly older’ age group 😂

I did this rapid result frer (?) this morning, not the best picture though. Rhr gone from 65 to 66.

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 08:03

@Alicespring I'm sorry about your loss! Oh wow I'm not sure I need twins! 😂. I have a DS 8 and my OH had a DS 9 and a DD nearly 3 😱

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 08:03

@gezelligheid that looks very promising! 🤞🏻🤞🏻😁

SS123456 · 16/12/2020 08:05

Amazing test @MissBPotter 😁

MissBPotter · 16/12/2020 08:29

@gezelligheid that’s a good sign!

mumof23188 · 16/12/2020 09:47

@lucyrp runner beans 🤣🤣 that’s hilarious! Hopefully the sickness won’t be as bad this time for you 🤞.

@MissBPotter lovely strong line this morning ☺️

@Juno231 how are you getting on?

CD6 for me! Will have to wait and see what happens this month. Temp has dropped finally!

Juno231 · 16/12/2020 11:26

@mumof23188 no news! 9DPO and rhr dipped by 1bpm and bbt by 0.04 lol so I'm trying not to read into it as it's quite minor so far. If everything dips again tomorrow then maybe we have AF coming for a visit!

@SS123456 holy smokes! congrats!

@Alicespring I'm so sorry to hear about the twin - how are you feeling about it?

OP posts:
Alicespring · 16/12/2020 11:37

@Juno231 actually okay, I think two would've been insane 🙈 I'm just so grateful the other wee bean is growing as it should. Still quite anxious, can't wait till I can actually enjoy being pregnant instead of worrying constantly. I worry if I'm not feeling as sick one day (like today) when really I should just be grateful I've got a break from feeling horrendous!

mumof23188 · 16/12/2020 13:25

@Juno231 oh I am so hoping nothing dips for you 🤞 crossing everything for you!

@Alicespring so sorry I missed your message. Sorry to hear your news. Glad all is well with baby bean though 💕

MissBPotter · 16/12/2020 13:40

@Alicespring sorry to hear of the twin. Glad the other little one is doing well. How many weeks are you now?

Alicespring · 16/12/2020 14:18

@MissBPotter

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow! And congrats on your BFP!

Moominmiss · 16/12/2020 14:18

Hi everyone!

Firstly huge congrats to all the bfp’s, I’ve tried to read back through a few pages.

I’ve been away a little while following last cycles mc, but back now on cd9. Nothing to report though. Last cycle before I got my bfp by about 7dpo I had really sore boobs, bloating and nausea so had an inkling I might get a bfp. This cycle, nada, not a single symptom. Boobs feel fine, not even tender if I squeeze them 😂

Charts are ok but nothing major going on so fully expecting af this cycle. I’m due around Monday 21st. Of course I’ve tested since 7dpo and bfn every day 😂

Attached temp and rhr charts. Have marked ovulation day in yellow on Fitbit chart

That was meant to say 9dpo not cd9!
