Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

This is very interesting. I hope you are right... my HR started increasing from 10th Oct, at which point I was 4/5 dpo. See pic!

It seems like this is a continued thread. Have you had many success stories in your previous threads, with HR as the indicator?

Place marking ☺️. Thank you!

@AnneZ31 hi,welcome ☺️ yes have a search and you will find the thread. It seems that for the majority it rises high when pregnant and drops for AF.

Juno231 · 14/10/2020 17:35

@AnneZ31 that does look very promising! And yes nearly all our BFPs had RHR sky rocketing (whereas for AF it plummets usually even before BBT does).

Marking my place also ☺️

poptypingchef · 14/10/2020 22:02

New thread 💃💃💃 thanks @Juno231

SarahTTC2020 · 14/10/2020 23:13

Thanks @Juno231

Welcome @AnneZ31 mine was the 56 around ov. Then a clear U shape for implantation. But hasn't been super high since, I'm 6 weeks pg now. It used to drop down the day before AF

Hi everyone, sorry not been on much last couple of days, hope everyone is keeping ok ☺️

@mumof23188 still no sign? How strange! Nothing from me and RHR flatlined today. Still getting the cramps and sore boobs but skin has already cleared up it feels it’s been that long waiting for AF. Decided to freak myself out that everything might not have cleared from my CP and that’s stopping me having a period 😩 I didn’t get a positive OPK though and normally always have 13-14 days LP so hoping just a case of she’s not due yet (though don’t understand why I’ve had all my symptoms!)

LS2020 · 15/10/2020 06:57

@ambs1994 nice post O rise 🤞🏻

Juno231 · 15/10/2020 07:35

@ambs1994 really nice post O rise!

Woop had my temp rise today so I guess I had another cycle of ovulating the same day as my peak. Officially in the TWW I think!

Morning girls 💕
...I'm bleeding 🥺 have been going very lightly (only on wiping) since Sunday afternoon 😭
Went for an early scan last night and she found a 5mm empty sac. She said it was quite small for 6+4 💔 she was lovely and told me not to lose hope, I could just be super early. Calling EPU to follow up today and take it from there but I've got a horrible feeling that the inevitable is coming...trying to stay positive but I'm struggling...not knowing for sure is the most horrendous feeling.

Oh @mrswilso I’m sorry to hear that, the uncertainty really is the worst. What are the next steps for the EPU? Fingers crossed they’ll be able to reassure you.

mumof23188 · 15/10/2020 10:07

@LS2020 no still no sign for me yet. 17dpo today 😩. Just want it to hurry up so can move onto the next cycle! To much waiting around. It’s getting on my nerves! Snap, cramps for me too and my spots have also been and gone. Ohh sorry to hear you’ve got yourself freaked out, hope you are ok. Maybe you just ovulated really late? I feel for you because the waiting and the unknown is horrible.

@Juno231 yay to temp rise 🎉 the TWW begins ☺️

@mrswilso I am so sorry to hear that you are going through that. I can imagine that it is a horrible feeling 😩. Sending you lots of luck.

LS2020 · 15/10/2020 10:28

@mrswilso oh lovely I’m so so sorry to hear that. I’m there with you in your pain, it’s devastating and I hope you take all the time you need to heal ❤️ What’s the next steps with EPU?

@mumof23188 I think you’re right and I have ovulated late and I would be totally fine in accepting that and see AF a week late but it’s the fact I’ve had all the hormonal bits like the spots and cramps and RHR drop which suggests the hormones have changed so not sure why it hasn’t been triggered? Surely all PMS symptoms would then come a week late? I’ve worn a pad today to try and make me come on! Is your temp still above cover line that must be unusual - isn’t 16 days of high temps a preg sign?

mumof23188 · 15/10/2020 10:43

@LS2020 I know exactly what you mean, it’s so confusing isn’t it. You would of thought that having the typical AF symptoms would mean AF was coming. Hate all the guess work of TTC. Oh bless you!! Do you check your cervix? It is still above it but I don’t think it’s high enough to indicate pregnancy?

LS2020 · 15/10/2020 10:50

@mumof23188 I honestly swear I can feel like my body cramping and that I should be having a normal flow and nothing is coming out, I’m baffled 😂
I sometimes check my cervix but I would only prod it when I wanted to know something and don’t check it often enough to know it’s different haha.
Hmm I don’t know, I don’t BBT but surely up generally is good?

SarahTTC2020 · 15/10/2020 10:53

@mrswilso I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully youre just not as far in as you thought you were. Big hugs xx

mumof23188 · 15/10/2020 10:55

@LS2020 🤣🤣 god it’s annoying isn’t it. I keep going to the loo to check aswell. Haha they’re strange things aren’t they. Yes I’ve been trying to read about others with a long LP but can’t find much.

Juno231 · 15/10/2020 11:06

@mrswilso I'm so so sorry it's not sounding like good news :( Big hugs from us all xx

@mumof23188 your chart looks good, I don't have a clue what's going on with your body tbh!

Ah thank you girls 💕
Wishaw EPU have booked me for this time next week for another scan - all I can do is wait and see. I've still not had any heavy bleeding or clotting at all and it's still just when I wipe so I'm clinging onto the tiniest bit of hope by my fingertips. My uterus was at such a tilted, awkward angle that she struggled to find it even using the transvag wand so I'm hoping the bad angle was hiding a teeny yolk 🥺🤞🏻
Ironically I've had a call with a date for my booking appointment on Tuesday next week too so I'll just update the local midwives when they call me next week.
On a funnier note, I overfilled and had to pee THREE times during the scans because I was too full 😂 when I left the room the first time for the loo, hubby said she measured my bladder at 13cm and told him it was the biggest she's ever seen 🤣 and we watched it refilling before my second toilet trip ha! And she showed me my dinner passing through my bowel 😳😂

LS2020 · 15/10/2020 11:27

@mrswilso yes it’s still so early and if you’re out by a day or two on your dating, could easily just be it’s slightly too early yet. I’ve got all my fx for you!! When I had my bleeding, it went to full bleed within 12 hours so is a good sign it’s not got heavier.
Also I’ve had that with needing to pee, I had to have my kidney and bladder scanned and she did my bladder and then I had to hop and run to the bathroom (as much as I could with an IV in) honestly was most satisfying wee I’ve ever had!!

@mumof23188 swear I’m going to chafe my lady parts with the amount of times I’ve gone to check today. V tempted to do a test as that always brings on AF 😂😂

mrswilso · 15/10/2020 11:31

@LS2020 I'm so lucky that I've never had to have anything past a GP visit once every few years so I've never had any scans or anything - I'm a bit of a geek so I found the whole experience so fascinating 😂

LS2020 · 15/10/2020 11:35

@mrswilso yes it’s good to have a nose at what’s going on inside of you although how they see anything on those black and white screens I don’t know 😂 she was showing me a bit of scarring on my kidney and I just smiled and nodded as I had no clue what she was looking at!

mumof23188 · 15/10/2020 11:43

@Juno231 well if you don’t have a clue then I’m hopeless 🤣.

@LS2020 hahaha same. I must check every 5 minutes. Yes! Good idea 😂. Although I don’t want to pee on another tenner.

@mrswilso crossing everything for you for next week ❤️🤞. Definitely a positive thing not having any clots and no heavy bleeding. Haha it’s funny looking at your body from the inside.

mrswilso · 15/10/2020 11:56

@LS2020 they are amazing aren't they! I would never had known what any of it was until she pointed it out!
@mumof23188 it's amazing! Aaaand I can confirm that during my no-bleeding time my sleeping heart rate did in fact go up too! I'm sure we had been talking about it a while back. So another wee thing to add into the obsessing mix haha!
