First month of trying here! Fell pregnant in the first month last time so 🤞🤞

Fingers crossed it doesn’t take us long the second time around either!
I am still breastfeeding though and have not yet ovulated or had a bleed after coming off contraception last month, so starting to get worried that it might take a while...

How old is your first?

Hello, first month of trying here too. It didn't take long the first time either for us so hoping for the same this time!

Hiii, second month trying here! Ovulated a couple of days ago so I’m in my 2ww now! Desperate for my little boy to have a baby brother or sister :)

@Waiting4another our DD is 3 months! We know it's soon but we want a close age gap so they can (fingers crossed) be friends and have similar interests in the future

@Char899 cycle has just started so not in either yet haha! Came off the pill a couple of months ago so hoping will catch quickly again like last time.

@Waffle10 @Waiting4another how old are your little ones? Hopefully you get your bleed soon! It’s so annoying being in limbo. Same thing happened to me, it turned up after about 6 weeks in the end so fx yours will too 🤞🏼

@Char899 my little one has just turned 2. Only started feeling broody again, the thought of having two under 2 wasn't appealing to me haha! What about you? How old is your little boy?

@Waffle10 Haha yes 2 under 2 is a terrifying thought but I guess it must work or else people wouldn’t do it!

Mine is nearly 19 months. I was hoping for a 2.5ish year age gap

Haha I don't know if brave is the word I'd choose! 😂 we know the first few years are going to be really difficult but we're willing to endure it to then have them close as they get older.
Also gets all the nappies out of the way in one go 😂

@Mommabear20 wow 3 months! I kind of wish I did that too! A good friend has two daughters very close in age and they are thick as thieves it is wonderful
@Char899 my DS is 16 months now, I would have tried earlier but COVID put me off initially

I am desperate for a second now too, wish AF would hurry up and show up!
That said with DS it never showed up at all, I just got pregnant 45 days after going off contraception! Lucky me

@Waiting4another yeah it feels completely stupid right now but we know (well believe 😂) it'll be worth it in the long run! We have a niece who just turned 1 and another niece due at Christmas so having mother now would mean they were all within a 2 year age bracket and no one would end up being left out (hopefully!)

@Mommabear20 I don’t think it is stupid at all, I feel like I could easily have a second right now, but that would have meant getting pregnant at 7 months, and who knows how long it will take to actually get pregnant! I feel like I should have started trying at 3 months too!
Are your normal cycles back now at 3 months?
That is one major downside of breastfeeding they don’t tell you about! Is your bub on formula?

@Waiting4another I've had 1 cycle which seemed normal but not 100% sure. Yeah Baby girl is formula fed, tried breastfeeding but my body just wasn't on board with that 😂

@Mommabear20 Wow, that’s great, hopefully no issues with your cycles then - I am thinking of weaning too if I don’t get AF back soon - I am so bad at waiting! Last time when I came off contraception I thought I had to get AF before trying, so it was a shock when I just got pregnant, but now that I know that is a possibility I am driving myself crazy hoping I will ovulate soon and going through a million of the OPK strips!

@Mommabear20 the small age gap will be worth all the hard work of those first few years, my DNs are really close in age and get along great!

@Waiting4another do you find the OPKs work? I've got some to try this month but I've heard mixed reviews.

@Char899 that would be a great age gap too! That was our initial thinking for an age gap but then covid hit and we waited

@Waiting4another I’d just get stuck in if I were you! I think the only reason they say to wait for af is to help time the pregnancy so who knows maybe this will be your month!

@Waffle10 I totally get that. Covid puts me off a little too but we have had to put so much on hold the last few months that we are at the point now where we just want to move forwards!

@Mommabear20 it will definitely benefit you when they are older, they will be playing with each other so you don’t have to!

@Waffle10 all of my OPKs have been about the same so far - all faint lines, I use them in the afternoon and if I feel like anything interesting is going on with my CM then also in the evening. I am only 5 weeks off contraception though and breastfeeding so I expect my OPKs are all the same because I haven’t ovulated yet. I have read on here that the peak can be easy to miss and testing in the morning doesn’t work. Last time it took me 6 and a half weeks from getting off contraception to ovulation, so hoping I don’t have too much longer to wait until I see a peak...
Did you just get the cheapies or branded/clearblue ones?

How old are your kids?

According to my period log app ive just had my fertile days and AF is due in 14 days! Now the tedious wait begins 😣😆

@Char899 @Waffle10 that's the hope! 😂 they can entertain each other and the dogs and I can sit and drink tea 😂

@Mommabear20 I’m with you! I’m fairly sure I ovulated on Sunday because I had cramps in the morning and then my ewcm dried up (tmi) Flo says af is due in 12 days but my cycle fluctuates so I think af is due in 10-12 days. I’m not feeling it this month though, I think we missed the boat but I’m still hoping!

Not feeling it myself this month, I think it'd be far too perfect for it to happen 😂 I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard not too!
What's the age gap with the little one(s) you've already got if it was to be this month?

@Mommabear20 going by the date of ovulation I’m guessing this one would be end of June? And ds will be 2 in March so would be perfect!
