First month of trying here! Fell pregnant in the first month last time so 🤞🤞

@Bellaphant me too! Came off the pill in August and gave it a go straight after but obviously was a bfn. Started period on 19th sept so here’s to the tww!

How’s everyone today? I had a dream last night that a huge spider was crawling down the wall next to ds cot. He sat up, reached out, grabbed The spider and tried to eat it! Eugh I woke up horrified! Am I losing my mind? Lool 4/5 dpo over here and no symptoms at the moment 🤷🏼‍♀️

I did a cheapie test last night and left it fully expecting it to be negative - came back this morning and it had an evap line on it - I figured it was an evap, but still had to retest right away - BFN as expected - I am such a POAS addict now! I figure I purchased about a million tests, might as well use them haha

Aren’t vivid dreams meant to be a symptom?
I’d say crazy spider dreams qualify 😜 🕷 😜...

@Waiting4another haha my tests arrive today and I just know I’m going to poas! I couldn’t have even implanted yet and I know that but will still probably test anyway! Just gets it out of your system doesn’t it? 😂
eugh evap lines are the worst! But yeah, don’t want the tests going to waste 😂
Aren’t the vivid dreams usually baby related rather than spider related? Unless I’m having a spider 😱

Haha, didn’t think the vivid dreams had to be anything related, but I’d say your baby eating a spider is pretty baby related 🤣
My only symptom with DS1 was exhaustion, so I can’t go crazy symptom spotting - so yep POAS and BFN is the only thing that gets my mind distracted and able to concentrate on life/work etc...

I had zero symptoms with DD until after I had a BFP, was almost instantly that I started getting all the symptoms 😂

Oh my god the dreams were awful!!! After the morning sickness I'd definitely say they were the worst part of pregnancy 😆 I remember waking up a couple of times a week in tears 😭 DH being the delight he is thought it was hilarious 😆

Oh gosh @Mommabear20 that sounds full on! Were your vivid dreams baby related? (or spider related lol?).
I was lucky to not get any morning sickness last time and am hoping it will be two times lucky as I really don’t need any nausea in my life with a toddler!
It will be interesting having an extreme sense of smell around diapers too - not looking forward to that part...

Oh god I’m not looking forward to the extreme smells - can’t be dealing with that this time around. I had exhaustion too but the main thing with me was heartburn I had intense heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy! I ate heartburn tablets for breakfast 😂 also not sure how I’ll cope chasing around a toddler... I also didn’t have morning sickness so fingers crossed we escape it again! 🤞🏼

@Waiting4another they were completely random! There we're definitely some baby ones but they were all awful!! 😭

If I catch on this month I'll be lucky and still be on maternity leave until I'm 14 weeks so should avoid the smells at work which were awful last time (I work in the food service industry) but I hadn't even thought about the nappies! 🤢🤢

@Mommabear20 I don’t remember specifically having vivid dreams but I generally dream a lot so probably wouldn’t have noticed or put 2 and 2 together!

My ic’s have just turned up! 🙈🙈😁

Oh my sense of smell was like a canine’s the whole 9 months, I didn’t get a break after the first trimester. Don’t know how I would have coped if I worked around food @Mommabear20!

Random question - who still has that silly belly line? Mine is still here and I am so over it - even my c section scar has completely faded now, but that damn dark line is sill not fully gone!

@Waiting4another oh I know I shouldn’t at 4/5 dpo because that’s just silly... but I might do later anyway 😂 maybe I ovulated earlier than I thought!? Lol

Do you mean the linea nigra? The line that goes vertically down? I luckily didn’t get one of those! I knew a friend of mine still has hers though and her ds is older than mine!

@Waiting4another thankfully never got the line! Or stretch marks! Had the best pregnancy ever so expecting the next one to be hell 😂

I had strong sense of smell the whole way through but was 100x worse in the first trimester, think was the morning sickness that made it worse, was at least tolerable after the first trimester

@Char899 that’s the one - mine is really wonky and awful - I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t so off centre 🤣 Makes me feel lopsided! How lucky are you not to have gotten one, that’s awesome. So funny how different everyone’s experience is with pregnancy.
And yeah, I guess even I have to concede there is no point testing until 7dpo... or at least my brain knows it, but that doesn’t mean I still wouldn’t pee on a cheapie stick lol

@Mommabear20 no wonder you want to go again at 3 months if you had a smooth run last time!

I managed to avoid stretch marks in pregnancy too @Mommabear20, although I think the breastfeeding has pretty much written off my boobs now - all these benefits to formula that no one really tells you about!

@Waiting4another haha even with such an easy first pregnancy I'm not looking forward to it! 😂 I've never been someone that was desperate to be pregnant and all that and always planned to build my family through adoption but my DH was desperate to have biological children so we came to a compromise of doing both! I just want to get both pregnancies over and done with 😂 then we can let our 2 biological babies grow up together for a few years before completing our family with either a single or sibling pair adoption 🥰🥰

What date is everyone testing this month?

@Mommabear20 my aim is to wait until the 14th. That way I’ll be 10/11dpo (I think) I imagine I’ll cave earlier but my ic’s arrived earlier and I have resisted the urge to poas so far! Lol

@Mommabear20 that’s so lovely that even though you are able to have your own children you still want to adopt... just lovely

Having never been overly bothered if I carried my children myself it seemed selfish to just have them as the 'easy' option when there are children that are already here and are in need of a family 🥰

(I completely understand that it is important to some people and I think that's great too! )
