First month of trying here! Fell pregnant in the first month last time so 🤞🤞

@Char899 we need to stay positive! 😁

@Waiting4another how old is DS? (Sorry if I've asked already 🤦‍♀️) would switching to a bottle be an option for you? Give the girls a break?

@Mommabear20 DS is 16 months now so I could really wean him by now and just give him cow’s milk, but he is just so used to having unlimited access now I don’t know where to even start. He just runs over to me now and helps himself and if I try to stop him from getting access 🙅‍♀️ he looks at me (and acts) like I am killing him 🤦‍♀️

@Waiting4another have you tried filling a sippy cup with cows milk and handing it to him when he comes for the boob? Tell him mummy’s milk is in there? Point to your boob then to the cup? Worth a try!

So guys I just poas.. obviously bfn! Period 8-10 days away! What is wrong with me?!??? Obviously wasn’t going to be anything other than a bfn! 😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@Waiting4another it might be hard to start with but personally feel it'd be easier on you while pregnant and with a newborn if you could give him a bottle, even if you still had cuddles while he drank it so he didn't feel like you were pushing him away maybe? At the end of the day though, do what you feel is best for you both! My DD is formula fed so I can't say with any certainty what I'd do in your shoes.

Brain: it'll be negative, there's no point, it's a waste of money, you'll just upset yourself.
Also brain: oooooo let's go pee on a stick! That'll be fun! 😂

@Mommabear20 you having any symptoms or anything? I’ve been a right moody cow today and emotions all over the place but not sure if that’s just the lead up to af!

@Char899 I've had some slight cramping, tired and mild nausea, I don't normally get any symptoms before AF so fx this is a good sign!!! Definitely going to try and wait till AF is due to test though, I feel like all these signs are too good to be true

I figure until about 12DPO you can test and get BFNs without much disappointment since it might just be too early - so it is the best time to test since if you do get a BFP it will just be a super pleasant surprise!
I do give DS a sippy cup with milk - he drains it and then still wants boob haha - and he is only the 50th percentile for weight - must just be all that crazy running around that he does haha

@Waiting4another thanks! I've spent the last hour playing 'hide the pee sticks!' 😂 my mum is coming over to watch DD this morning while I run some errands and will never buy that they're left over from last time 😂

Mums are clever like that, she will probably figure it out anyway, just like from gut feel and mother senses... My mum knew like instantly that I was pregnant even though I hadn’t told her - no idea how she figured it out...

My OPKs are looking a bit less blank now and I am 40 days off contraception so hoping that history repeats itself and I ovulate within a week!

What brand tests do you guys use?? Previously used first view from Poundland but don't know how reliable they are if testing early

@Mommabear20 not caved yet! So will at some point today though lol, I use frer but they are so expensive, I’m just keeping myself happy with some ic’s at the moment!

Just tested with an ic and got a bfn 😒 why do I do it to myself?! 😂

Refraining from testing by doing a due date calculator, and if I got pregnant this month baby would be due 2 days after DDs first birthday! 😂

@Mommabear20 I’m going to try not to test again until at least Monday! I’m either 6 or 7 today not 100% sure but I’m going with 6. Hopefully I’ll be able to refrain from testing tomorrow!

@Char899 same! I know tomorrow will be too early so I just have to stay strong and not test! If I can get past tomorrow then I think I'll be okay! 🤞

Haha it's worse for my husband as it's mine 2 weeks before hers! 😂 and it's our 2 nieces at the beginning of the month after 😆

I kind of just want to fast forward to af now so I can get on with ttc next cycle. I’m so sure we missed the mark this month as we didn’t DTD on ovulation day or the day before 🤔 I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that it’s not my month but I just want to hurry up and find out you know? God I’m the most impatient person in the world!

@Char899 throw in Father's Day between mine and DD and it's almost as bad as Christmas! 😂
