First month of trying here! Fell pregnant in the first month last time so 🤞🤞

@Char899 I'm backwards and forwards as to whether I am or not! Last time I just knew I was but this time I really can't settle my mind one way or the other. 😣

@Mommabear20 I knew I was last time too but ds was a lovely surprise so I wasn’t sitting around symptom spotting! I don’t think I had any! I just realised I was late for af and tested! It’s very different this time around!

It's so frustrating isn't it!!!
Last time though we weren't fully trying, we just said let's stop contraception and see if it happens and bam! First month! Now that we want it to happen quickly I think it's gonna take ages 😣

I just use the cheap internet tests, but would always confirm with a first response and/or digital. The internet ones I get say they can pick up 10 mlu, which is pretty good if it is true.
Sorry to hear about your BFN @Char899 but I wouldn’t get disappointed yet, it is waaay too early for the BFN to be reliable and you are never out until AF arrives. Plus you only have to DTD like within 4-5 days prior to ovulation to potentially catch, so definitely don’t rule yourself out just yet
@Mommabear20 my DS and like 6 of his cousins all have birthdays over about a 3 week stretch, and my whole family is all clustered around another 2 week stretch. I actually prefer having birthday clusters - everyone can just get together and exchange presents Christmas style!

@Waiting4another that’s true! We dtd 2 days before ovulation and I had ewcm so fx!

I’m so tired this morning I filled up ds sippy cup with milk and then instead of putting that in the microwave I tried to put the milk carton in! Lol! I was like what am I doing! Then I tried to put his sippy cup in the fridge, god knows where my head was this morning 😂

Yeah, I am in struggle town today too, DS has had an upset tum / teething / sleep trouble for three days in a row and I am done like toast. Feeling grateful to NOT be pregnant right now, didn’t stop me peeing on all kinds of sticks today though haha

@Mommabear20, that's what happened to us last time, came off the pill, had a period , boom! Baby. I was told I had pcos, so assumed it would take a long time.

@Char899, that's how I 'knew' last time, I kept being silly. Nearly set my kitchen on fire! Fingers crossed.

Not feeling anything, really confused about when i actually ovulated - think I need to buy in some of those tracking sticks!

Feeling ridiculously bloated today 🤦‍♀️ hoping thats a good sign as I normally feel bloated after AF not before! 🤞🤞

Oh god! @Char899 I used to have those days when I was pregnant 😂 I remember once putting the bag of coffee beans in the fridge at work then wondering why we couldn't find them 😂

Oh I hope my stupidity it a good sign then!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’ve held off poas today so I’m feeling proud of myself lol. OH told me to wait until Wednesday, he said everything good happens on a Wednesday (he proposed to me on a Wednesday) cutttteeee

@Bellaphant Are you having regular cycles? If so I think the cheap internet OPKs can be pretty good

@Mommabear20 Making announcement cards in advance is hilarious, but it makes sense as I certainly didn’t feel like doing much of anything in the first trimester!

Morning @Char899 I am never one to discourage POAS, sorry, but with all of your early signs I’ll be a bit crushed if it is a BFN again!
I am having some weird bloating and lower back pain, so hoping that means something is happening in the AF department and that it isn’t just from DS climbing on my back too much 😂
Still no sign of any positive OPKs here, but it is oddly satisfying seeing a second line every day 🤣

@Char899 haha sorry same here! DH and I went for a walk into town today and he (naively) believed me when I said I was popping into boots for a drink 😂 he wasn't all that surprised when I walked out with 5 pregnancy tests though! 😆 so you won't get any discouragement from me!

@Waiting4another @Mommabear20 I still feel like 8dpo is early? Even with a frer people get bfn’s on 8dpo... I really want to try and wait until Wednesday but I have no self control! 😂

My cat keeps coming and sitting on me at the moment he does every so often but he seeks me out now to sit on my lap.. I remember when I was pregnant before he always used to lay on me! I have a photo of him spread across my bump when I was pg with ds! I hope that’s a good sign but I did poas earlier and was a bfn 😭

@Char899 aww that's so cute! My dog that usually doesn't want to sit and cuddle was all over me when I was pregnant with DD! She would sit and lick my bump 🥰 she's not showing much interest yet though :/

Literally just checked it again (it’s been about 5 mins now) I have line eyes! Full on imagining a line that’s not there! Argh

@Char899 still early days, BFN doesn’t mean much at this stage. Is that a FRER though? Get some cheapie tests, otherwise POAS becomes a very expensive hobby fast! Fingers still firmly crossed for you!
