As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

hey, here we are! Got a bit confused there with the two threads (this happens to me very easily!) I'm sure this is going to be as lucky as the old thread has been recently in the bfp department, and as supportive for everyone else.

What are we all up to tonight then? DH is 'wining and dining' with work so I have a thrilling meal for one to look forward to after the kids are asleep. Anyone want to make with me jealousy with tales of their culinary excesses tonight?

splishsplosh · 09/10/2007 19:36

veggie sausages (in honour of ilts) in crammed-full-of-seeds-goodness rolls. Bet no one's jealous of that gourmet delight!

Sadly have no cake despite shopping today, I've had delicious crumbly fudge instead. Anyone got any chocolate cake going spare?

iliketosleep · 09/10/2007 19:50

wheres my bloody sausages

here we go again!!! bring on the bfps

TJuice · 09/10/2007 21:01

did you know they can tell which ovary you ovulated from on a scan? it goes a bit droopy afterwards . . .

so sorry, p2b about your mc. i totally know how you feel about people knowing about ttc. i just say that we are trying to be relaxed about it (although that is not really true), or i say we are 'open' to conception OTC. but i would much rather say naff-off, sticky-beak but that would be rude.

i was also rather pessimistic about my pregnancy (mc in august at 9 1/2 weeks) - and even kept saying "well, if it all works out . . . " i spent a while feeling like i jinxed it but of course that is just rubbish. i hope with my next pg, i can be more cautiously optimistic, but i know it will be hard.

i ate a peanut butter kitkat just now (who knew those would be so good), and a piece of toblerone. does that count? good cake is hard to find in scandinavia, but i am going to Paris in the morning until Sunday avec my dp, so will GET MY CAKE ON in parisienne style.

RosyBelle · 09/10/2007 21:10

ILTS I had a battered JUMBO sausage with chips for dinner!!! Honest!! & it was fab.

No Cake though - need some now!!

Tjuice - can I come to paris with you?? I live in Kent so its only 3 hrs on Eurostar!!

cricri · 09/10/2007 21:25

I have some home-made biscuits if anybody wants any (hands some round to everybody) Chocolate chip biccies and also chocolate covered florentines. Yum!
TJuice - have a fab time in Paris! You won't have any trouble finding cakes there
Rosy - How did it go yesterday?

RosyBelle · 09/10/2007 21:33

Thanks for asking Cricri - and Kat... to be honest - not good but I really don't want to go into detail here (just the usual incompetant NHS) - it was v traumatic but its all over & she is OK - if a little bit sore. The op itself seems to have worked & her eyes are straight

TJuice · 09/10/2007 21:36

of course you can come to gay paree, rosy! you should be going there on the regular anyway, being so close.

and i quite fancy the sound of those veggie sausages in seedy roll, splish. as long as there is some HP sauce to go on them.

RosyBelle · 09/10/2007 21:39

I know TJuice - have been a couple of times but Eurostar is not cheap.. although did go 1st class once which is v nice!!

Splish - veggie sausages give me wind

ClairePO · 09/10/2007 22:10

I hadn't seen this been posting in the old one.

iliketosleep · 09/10/2007 22:19

sainsburys veggie burgers give me the worst smelling farts ever, they have an almost onion aroma to them, im so proud lmao

katendmom · 09/10/2007 22:23

TJ I never knew about ovaries! WOW You're just a wealth of info. And Paris! Something tells me you'll be doing something more than just eating cake! All that SHOPPING! I am so

Rosy I am so sorry about your experience - you don't have to tell us, no need to relive it. But hey! If little butterfly's eyes are fine now - you can totally relax, right?

Clair don't feel bad! I bet a bunch will be posting on the old thread at first but it's coming to an end soon. Let's just keep monitoring it and redirecting people to this one.

spookykitty · 09/10/2007 22:40

hello found you all veggie sausages over here for me please

katendmom · 09/10/2007 22:44

I have to tell you... if I'm having a sausage... it?ll better have meat in it I hope I am not offending any vegetarians... but I love meat...

You know what is the newest fear on my mind? You are going to laugh... We just got a new bedroom set... and a new mattress... and I am mortified that my first after mc AF will come... and it'll be horrendous... and will come when I am sleeping... and my new mattress will be ruined!

But I cannot be sleeping on towels and stuff for weeks! I don't know when AF will come!

ronshar · 10/10/2007 10:34

Bugger I posted on old thread and I asked a question and everything. I am not rewritng it as it is a bit boring.
Cool new thread Kat.

PiggyPenguin · 10/10/2007 11:02

Hello, feeling a bit sad today. Spoke to a really good friend who should be just hitting her 12th week only to find she has just had her second mc. Sorry to bring the thread down but now I feel really anxious about my very new bfp (4+3) and also, how can I tell her now?

iliketosleep · 10/10/2007 11:03

no i dont think i do lol dp was talking to me at the same time and i lost my concentration, so sorry

As for the veggie, im not one because of save the animals etc as its the food chain isnt it?!? I just dont like the taste, i remember being little and being given sunday lunch with chicken and i could chew it but not swallow it and from then on its like that with all meat. Im a strange person

iliketosleep · 10/10/2007 11:06

ronshar i dont think your mad for asking for a scan as i think i will be doing the same or going to birmingham and having private scans for my own piece of mind, also with last pg before i even found out i was expecting i went off anything sweet as apparently my body was craving carbs.

ronshar · 10/10/2007 11:22

Cheers luv. My pregnancies with DDs were a sweet fest from beginning to end. Maybe it is a little boy in the making? Stop it Ronshar. It is a little bean. Leave the poor thing alone.

See I told you all I am mad. The hormones are making me worse already.
