TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

Baby dust to all x

Sorry to jump in. I could really do with some advice. I have pcos. Ttc 20 months. On day 3 of what I thought is my period but it's completely different to anything I've experienced! Hardly any blood, dark brown in colour. I've tested negative but could that be because hcg levels aren't high enough on day 3? I'm concerned because I was supposed to take my clomid tablet yesterday but don't want to risk it if this is a pregnancy. What do you think? Am I imagining things?

2020mission · 09/07/2020 22:54

@Bims2019 hoping you have some good news when you test tomorrow. I've ordered more FRERs for next month as I'll be on to my last one tomorrow when I do a pre drink test. Are you going for FMU for the test or holding off until later in the day just before you have a drink? The test I did today was at 6pm but I held for hours and the pee was quite dark so definitely wasn't too diluted. There's a slim chance it was just too early but I'm not feeling confident as the month I had a chemical, I tested just a day later at 11 DPO and the line was quite clear then!

@Jurassiclover keep us updated with your next test 🤞

@EasterBunny7 I sometimes spot for a few days before AF so maybe you've just been experiencing similar and AF will be on the way soon. I'd test again in a day or so if AF isn't full flow. Someone else here might be able to offer you more advice as I haven't looked into Chlomid so not even sure what that is?

EasterBunny7 · 09/07/2020 23:01

@2020mission

I'm probably hoping too much, it's been a tough 20 months Sad

It's good to get a reality check hearing that you've spotted for 3 days. The most I've spotted is 1 day. Perhaps it's just a different period for me.

2020mission · 09/07/2020 23:11

@EasterBunny7 aww it's just so unfair having so many months of this isn't it? Hopefully our time will come soon 🤞

2020mission · 10/07/2020 11:00

Any news? Still whiter than white FRER for me this morning. I've shed a few tears and I'm now trying to focus on my wine at 5pm. I'm also going to pop out at lunch and get myself a full caffeine latte and cake to cheer myself up. Feeling so damn fed up today!

Hoping you ladies can share some good news to lift the mood here! Come on 🤞

EasterBunny7 · 10/07/2020 11:14

@2020mission

really sorry to hear you going through that same stage as me, facing all those stark white pregnancy tests Sad

I've been trying to eat well but also suddenly feeling compelled to step outside into the big bad world Wink for a big, greasy lunch.

helia · 10/07/2020 12:20

Hope you're alright @2020mission. Wondering if I should hold off testing this weekend to avoid the roller-coaster of emotions you get if you get early BFNs.

2020mission · 10/07/2020 12:24

@helia Completely up to you but I would hold back, if you can. I only tested to make sure I don't drink while pregnant but it has just got me on a downer waiting for AF.

helia · 10/07/2020 12:33

I was thinking about starting on CD25 (Sunday) but now thinking about holding off until CD28 (Wednesday), if I can... It is only our first month trying and I need to be rational and protect my emotional health.

No real symptoms here on CD23. I felt a bit sicky for all of five minutes this morning but that passed so quickly that I can't read anything into it.

hannah88j · 10/07/2020 12:53

Hi all can I join please? I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle so hoping I catch a sticky one this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I recognise a few names from our thread last month. Really hoping July is a good one for all of us. I'm 5dpo and AF due 19th so trying to hold off until at least 17th to test! Xx

acaciabluebell · 10/07/2020 12:56

I'm on CD29 (9dpo). Was tempted to test this morning but withheld! I'm having a v busy day tomorrow so I think Sunday is the earliest I might test (11dpo). I don't really have any symptoms today but I do feel a general pelvic ache which is normally a sign of AF for me ☹️

I've taken my pregnancy tests out of the bathroom cabinets which is really helping me to avoid testing... Also avoiding keeping FRERs around until my period is almost due. I know if I had FRERs in my house I would definitely not be able to resist 😂

Eppy123 · 10/07/2020 15:01

@2020mission hope you’re ok, enjoy your wine tonight! 😘

@Jurassiclover how are you getting on?

@helia @acaciabluebell good luck for when you both test, I know how tempting it is to do it early!

Love and luck to those still waiting to test ❤️

Jurassiclover · 10/07/2020 15:10

Welcome to all who've joined us! Hope you're all doing well. Sorry to hear of those who've had BFNs hope you're all feeling okay!

I tested today which is 10dpo but was a definite negative, I'm not testing again now until 12dpo and if still negative then I'm not testing again until AF is late if she is late for whatever reason. At first I felt sad about getting another BFN but I feel more positive after reminding myself that it may be too early. I'm also feeling more positive as my doctor has done a blood test and is referring me for an ultrasound so even if this isn't my month I am getting some investigations which might help me understand why it's taking a whole and my GP is going to look into medication to regulate my ovulation as I'm not ovulating until CD 30 onwards so we need to shorten and regulate my cycles if possible.

How is everyone doing? Sorry I was quiet for a bit, had a funeral and other stuff going on!

CD21 for me, been up since 1am with a UTI that came in super suddenly... 😩 trying to avoid antibiotics so I literally sat on the loo drinking water and weeing (TMI soz) for hours and feel super flushed out, so I'm so relieved!

If I still have symptoms tomorrow I will call my GO but normally I can shake them off within a day or so by doing it this way!

DH has promised he'll fetch me a mcdonalds later so I'm just living for that now 😂

Bims2019 · 10/07/2020 16:29

@2020mission really sorry about the test, it doesn't get any easier does it :( enjoy your wine tonight and take care of yourself.

@Jurassiclover it's good that you're getting some tests done and your doctor sounds supportive. Sorry if you've already said, how long have you been trying now?

I did test this morning, there is possibly the slightest shadow of a line but I had that last month and it was ultimately a BFN. It's too faint to show up in a pic, so I'm not getting my hopes up and will enjoy some wine in moderation this eve. AF isn't due until Wednesday so there is still a chance, I'll probably test again on Sunday (I say that but have one more frer left, it will probably be too tempting not to try tomorrow!😂)

@JTB123 McDonald's sounds like just the ticket! Perfect Friday meal, I'm very jealous 😆

Hello to anyone new and sending loads of luck to anyone testing over the weekend! Hope you all have a good one whether it involves wine or otherwise WineFlowers

2020mission · 10/07/2020 18:55

I had some twinges of pain in my left pelvic area and have started thinking maybe I'm implanting late 😂 what am I like such wishful thinking, it's more likely nothing. Thanks for your kind messages though ladies... we'll all get there! 💕 have a great weekend and keep updating on how you're all doing and any tests

Jurassiclover · 10/07/2020 21:46

@JTB123 hope the UTI clears up for you!

@Bims2019 been trying for a year but then had a MC in October and so been trying for 9 months since then. I'm just lucky my GP was willing to investigate my cycles despite the MC only being 9 months ago as I thought they'd make me wait until a year from then. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on Sunday! Keep us updated!

@2020mission I'll keep my fingers crossed that it is late implantation!

I've got loads of watery CM, never had this before - anyone know what it's meant to mean? I've tried googling but it suggests some variant of EWCM but I thought you only had that when OV?

OP posts:
2020mission · 10/07/2020 22:18

@Jurassiclover. Have you had sex recently? I've had watery CM late in my cycle too it's so confusing.

TWW - anyone want to join?
2020mission · 10/07/2020 22:20

I didn't mean to add that photo to the previous post! It was meant to be another post about my sad morning 😂 wine and Mumsnet doesn't mix well

helia · 11/07/2020 10:02

Fantastic photo @2020mission!

CD24/28 today and itching to test with one of my two FRERs. I really am trying to hold off!

Jurassiclover · 11/07/2020 10:24

@2020mission last time we had sex was 4 days ago, so confusing where this watery cm has come from and why! Love the photo hahaha 😂

@helia you've got this! Use that willpower haha!

OP posts:
2020mission · 11/07/2020 12:50

@helia some will power you've got! I'm on CD24 now and my cycle can be as short as 24 some months but it's usually 27 days so hoping AF will arrive soon and I can get on to the next cycle. I wish there was a way to bring it on sooner if you've not been successful!

mrsgtobe97 · 11/07/2020 12:56

Can someone help please? Af is late and got this this morning, I could of ov later but god knows what DPO I'd be. It looks like half a positive line but it appeared immediately. Took a CBD conception one and it said bfn. So confused. Partner said I'm seeing things! Want to know I'm not going crazy!

TWW - anyone want to join?
helia · 11/07/2020 13:31

Looks positive to me. I think these are more sensitive than other tests so it would make sense you're getting a line here but not on others. Test again tomorrow?
