TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

I've been awake for 30 mins feeling anxious about testing today hahaha. Going to finally get out of bed and go test, so nervous! Will keep everyone updated 🤞

@SCIAGx thank you! Just waiting my 3 mins before I look at the test! I don't know why I feel so nervous haha I've taken so many tests over the last nine months and never usually get this nervous hahaja

So not sure with today's test, I don't think it looks much different from yesterday but I'm only 9DPO so I'm gonna test again tomorrow

The more I'm looking I think today's is a BFN actually

Keep testing @Jurassiclover still very early days. As I said I had all negatives up til 12dpo last time so the fact you've had a squinter is positive

Not sure re ovulation as I'm not tracking by testing but would guess at day 13 or 14 @2020mission on the basis of EWCM. Most cycles are 28 days for me and they've been consistently so since Feb but prior to that anything between 26 and 29 days was normal. I've been using Clue for ages to track them but we've only just began to TTC.

I've only got the one supermarket pregnancy test at the moment which I doubt is particularly responsive. However, I'll put an order in for some FRERs to see...

I can't believe how keen I am to be pregnant after four years of dreading it. I've been on the fence about another for ages. I'm also not great at pregnancy so it's a weird thing to be looking forwards to! (I had PGP last time and ended up signed off work for a few weeks as I was feeling so low and uncomfortable.)

Sorry, I missed the posts on page 6! Are you still only a few days DPO @Jurassiclover? When is your next cycle due to start?

@SCIAGx yeah I'm gonna test again tomorrow as that will be 10dpo which when I had the MC is when I got my positive, if there's nothing tomorrow I'll probably wait until about 12/13dpo before testing again.

@helia yeah only 9dpo at the min so still very early! Next cycle is due to start on the 14th (but that's basing on a 2 week LP which I could be wrong about, my cycles vary a lot)

@Jurassiclover I would say defo leave it a few days I didn’t get a strong BFP with my first DD until a week after AF was due it can just take time

@Itisme90 yeah my DPs mum didn't get a positive til she was already 2 weeks late! I'm still hopeful since it's early days but I don't have any symptoms which is making me feel like it's probably not my month but I need to remind myself some people don't get symptoms at all and others don't get symptoms til they're late so I'm just trying to stay positive haha

My next cycle is due to start on 16th and I think I will test with a FRER on 12th. It says in lab testing that it works for 96% of women 5 days before the day of missed period but I'll take that with a pinch of salt. I've got a two pack coming anyway so I can always test again...

@Jurassiclover it takes a couple of days for hcg levels to increase and since it was a real squinter before I'm not surprised it's not obvious today. Give it another day or so and try again🤞most wont show until 12 DPO

@helia mine is due to start around the 18th so not far behind you!
Ive just ordered a 2 pack off amazon, going to try and leave it until as late as poss next week 🤞🏻

I caved and peed on a FRER a day early and it was stark white 😭 I really hope you have better luck than me! Not sure what we're doing wrong 🤷‍♀️

Sorry to hear that @2020mission. When is your period due?

@helia not 100% sure as my cycle varies from 24-31 days in length. My app is showing AF due on 13th July based on the average length of 27 and I'm 11 DPO today, so I think the FRER would have shown a line by now if there was anything.

I was convinced this was my month due to the bloating, sore boobs and how tired I've been feeling despite getting a good sleep all week. Just need to wait for AF and on to our 6th month 🙁

It could still be too soon. I hope you get some answers in the next few days!

Hi ladies can I join ? I’m currently 1dpo ttc baby number 1 It’s our 3rd month trying we’ve tried to dtd every day for 5 days leading up to ovulation this month instead of every other day so let’s hope the change on tactics lead to something special.. good luck to you all !! Xx

Sorry things are still unclear for you @Jurassiclover and @2020mission, but agree it could still be too soon. You're still in until AF shows!

I'm still planning to test tomorrow, still not many symptoms except really sensitive nipples (sorry TMI 😂). Not expecting much but also want to check before Friday wine! Good luck to anyone else testing!
