TTC after a chemical pregnancy / early miscarriage

Hi everyone, on a few really supportive threads on here but thought I’d make another for anyone who may be in a similar position to me and we can support eachother... I’m petrified of trying again after last month tbh.

Last week I thought our dreams had finally come true when I got 3 BFP (including a digital!).. a week later I was bleeding and a call to the EPU confirmed it was a chemical pregnancy / early miscarriage.. so I’m back here and tomorrow will be CD1 cycle 4 (I know so many people have been trying so much longer) but just didn’t expect to be back so soon after getting a BFP.

So tomorrow marks CD5.. AF is due around 1st August and I promise to not POAS (apart from the one I need to pee on tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy is gone!) until 8th August if AF doesn’t show.. I can’t risk seeing a chemical and testing early again so have told myself never again will I test early.

Would love some buddies along the way with me 🤞🏼🌈❤️

Hi everyone. Hope you are all coping in this insane heat! I'm on my TWW, second week and I am definitely finding it harder. My chemical pregnancy was one cycle ago and I feel so anxious of what might be. I'm dreading going through the same thing. Hope you are all doing ok xx

Hope everyone is well. Tested today and opk results was blank compared to yesterday's and the day before. I'll see what happens. Period should be approx two weeks as I'm assuming I ovulated in the last couple of days but cannot be sure. Can't wait for my period so I can be sure of dates.

Hi all- sorry to jump in- I had a chemical last month and it left me devastated
Anyway got a BFP this month
Lines don’t look like they are progressing and a cheapie one I brought yesterday and did this morning was fairly light (my AF is due tomorrow)
A clear blue digital showed one to 2 weeks this afternoon and I’m unsure what’s going on
Aside from unreal bloating and cramping (AF symptoms) I don’t know what to make of it
I can’t help thinking it’ll be a BFN?

@Mustbemad82 sorry to hear about your mc. Mine was last month as well but only about 3 weeks ago.
Hang in there, it could be a BFP, just wait for the next couple of days to see, hopefully AF won't show up.
If you don't mind me asking did you know when you ovulated? Mine mc was the 26July and I think I ovulated possibly Monday night but can't not sure as using opk is new to me. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.xx

@Mishmased I used a clear blear
I got a peak at day 9 and almost stopped testing but had another again at around day 14
Looks like my initial surge didn’t result in an egg being Released so another was released again a few days later
I assume I’m ovulating , it’s just I’m 38 and the quality may not be as good
Also don’t know what’s happening I terms of my uterus
May be issues there
I’m hoping but not hopeful

@Mustbemad82 thanks for replying. Yes the mc is a killer, never experienced it before and I was so shocked when it happened as I have had two textbook (don't count labour😆) pregnancies.
I'm a cm tracker so never used opk and my cycle is between 27-29 days so ovulating around day 12/13. Looks like I ovulated around day 21/22 (I counted first day of mc as day 1). I'm almost hoping to have my period so at least I'll get a clearer date.

Hi everyone, hoping to join you on the journey.
We have been talking about trying for over 3 years and kept putting it off because of stress, work my weight. Then as I turned 41 last year decided we can’t wait for the perfect time. Work was still super stressful so I’m holiday in Feb it was the first time we’d dtd, little did I know we’d managed to get pregnant. Unfortunately it didn’t last long and by 7 weeks it was all over. My cycle has finally settled and we are TTC again. So July was my first relay cycle and I had so many symptoms thought we were on to a winner but AF arrived yesterday so I am CD2 and will be trying again this month. With my age & weight I am now worried it will never happen again and super disappointed every time AF shows up.

I’ll take the time to go back read everything but wishing every lots of positive thoughts and hopefully we will all get our BFPs soo

Unfortunately I feel i can join this group. I have had a rollercoaster of a day. This was cycle 13 of TTC and was 3 days late so took a CB digital this morning and it was a BFP, this was the first in over a year so we were excited. However by this evening I felt AF cramps and I have now started to bleed like AF. I feel absolutely heartbroken and devastated and have cried all evening. Not even sure what happens. Is this now CD1?

So after having my coil out in June, falling pregnant in July and have a chemical I was then worried about ovulation and will I time it correcting with everything that went on. Well today it is a big positive so I know to DTD tonight, we have pretty much most days since 😂
Is anyone else ovulating now?

I didn’t fall pregnant this month (glad of no chemical at least) and I now have to stop for 3 months due to commitments next year :(
Also just had my cd21 bloods back and have low progesterone so I’ll need progesterone suppositories when I ttc again :(

@Boc86 sorry it didn’t work out this month and now you have to wait. That must be so frustrating! I’m on the progesterone pessarys. As far as I know it’s working for me so far- I have an early scan on thurs but am now convincing myself that as I’ve not bled already I’ll find out I’ve had a missed miscarriage! Honestly the stuff that goes through my head is horrid! I hope you have a peaceful and stress free 3 months break off the journey xxx

@Boc86 I started taking them from the day I got my first faint positive and have to take them up until 16 weeks. They’re not too bad. You just need to put aside 30 mins twice a day to lay down whilst they absorb (and they still deep out like a chalky discharge) going to be a struggle when I go back to work in September to lie down for half an hour before work 🙄 will have to get up at 5.30 or something ridiculous! Other than that, they’re fine ❤️ Thank you, hoping for some good news after the awful year we’ve had! Xxx

@Boc86 Sorry you have to pause, defo keep an eye on your cycle so your ready to go again come November!

CD9 for me, nothing to report! Think I’ll start using OPKs from Monday which will be CD11. I so hope this month is our month xx

Thank you @Littlebee1990! Will keep you in my thoughts this month and hope for a bfp!! I switched from using the one step OPKs to the easy at home ones combined with the Premom app and they were so much better! Wishing you the best of luck xxx

Ah thank you @EDW1 can I ask why you had to start when you got a bfp and not 3dpo like I’ve read?
My problem is my progesterone is dropping before I could even implant

Should’ve been having my 12 week scan next week.. keep saying the date everywhere and getting upset. Argh this is so hard.
