@Chalkie67 hopefully 🤞🏻

@Aokbaby I think B6 can help stop spotting and guess it could delay AF as it's meant to help with luteal phase so could be making yours longer (which I think can only be a good thing), how long is you LP normally? I know lots of people don't get a positive test until they're quite late... x

Aokbaby · 22/08/2020 09:39

Mines is usually on the shorter side 10/11days so it's definitely a good thing, just gonna ride it out and see what happens? Think I should stop taking the b6?

Aokbaby · 22/08/2020 09:39

@Tink2019 forgot to tag🙈

Tink2019 · 22/08/2020 09:46

@Aokbaby I'd carry on taking I think. It might delay AF (but at least then your LP is longer) or it might help you get your BFP... x

Aokbaby · 22/08/2020 09:50

@Tink2019 that's what I was thinking, just needed to hear it from someone else, thankyou x
Keep us updated about your scans, thinking of you xx

Jungle25 · 23/08/2020 14:04

So I had a strong positive on Friday then a really strong one sat morning...( test line was way darker than control) so app put yesterday as peak....levels were high yesterday and my first opk with smu was was read as high tho it was lower...then mu afternoon one just now is back to low...

Do levels go straight back down after ovulation is over? Or just once egg is realeased...therefore could still be there for another few hours ??

Anyone help me on this.....

Crayon7 · 24/08/2020 10:09

Here we go 2dpo again. Here is to hoping this is our cycle 🤞🏻

lamby12 · 26/08/2020 07:24

Hi everyone sorry I've been a bit quiet on here! Turns out the not TTC is becoming a very nice break and I just didn't fancy starting testing/ tracking again this month. Definitely taking the long term approach now... I have the day 21 blood tests this month (next fri) So seeing this more as a time to start investigating things. Feeling more relaxed about it all.

@Tink2019 hope you're doing ok and sorry you're experiencing the cramps/ stress/ hospital visit. Hopefully they can do the early scan at 6 weeks and that will give you some assurance.

@Aokbaby fingers crossed for you - are you still late?

X

lamby12 · 26/08/2020 07:25

@Crayon7 🤞🏻 good luck!!

Aokbaby · 26/08/2020 10:18

Hi @lamby12 yea going on 6days now, have had some spotting today though so think i might be out, so disappointed as I really thought this was it cos I'm never late💔 still af not in full flow yet so still clinging on to hope.

Glad you're enjoying the break away and really hoping it happens for you soon, this might be just what it takes xx

The b6 definitely extended my leutal phase so any of you ladies with shorter ones, get on it 🤞

Crayon7 · 26/08/2020 13:08

Thanks @lamby12 good luck to everyone and lots of baby dust 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Dbop100 · 27/08/2020 16:52

Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm CD6 today, been taking Clomid since Sunday (it's not as bad as you hear on the internet - I take it before bed so sleep through most of the side effects). just had a scan and there is a very promising looking follicle on my right side so fingers crossed for cycle number 14!

@Aokbaby hope you're ok, the suspense of being late and waiting to know is so hard. Have you taken a test? I had spotting before my BFP in May. X

@Tink2019 sorry to hear it's been so stressful. The worry certainly doesn't go away when you get that BFP. Hope everything is ok with you. X

Aokbaby · 27/08/2020 19:58

@Dbop100 af arrived today, gutted!! Thanks for asking x

Glad to hear about the follicle, here's hoping it's the one 💕

Dbop100 · 27/08/2020 20:12

@Aokbaby oh no I'm so sorry to hear that. It's so cruel when it comes late. 💕

I've just started reading 'It Starts with the Egg' to improve my egg quality. It's really good would recommend! The cover is pretty awful and off putting but I got it on kindle so not a problem. Egg quality is so crucial I've learnt so much I never knew before TTC it's fascinating.

turtola · 27/08/2020 21:49

Hi everyone. I'm new here. Been ttc 7 cycles now but fairly casually as naively thought it would be easy (conceived DS in one cycle, no tracking or scheduling...)
Used opk for the first time for my last cycle, ovulated earlier than I expected. I have a question about which days before and around ovulation / how often it's recommended to DTD ?! ThanksSmile

Dbop100 · 28/08/2020 09:50

Hi @turtola I would say it's best to DTD the days leading up to and the day of ovulation. For example I'm due to ovulate next Weds so we're going to be doing it as much as possible (probs not more than once a day) between tomorrow and Wednesday. This is based on the advice I was given by my consultant. I've heard some people say to only do it every other day, but that only applies if your partner has low sperm count. The only thing to avoid is your partner leaving it too long between ejaculation. If it's been like 7 days then all the sperm won't be any good. So make sure he releases regularly 🤣

turtola · 28/08/2020 20:20

@Dbop100 thank you- that's news to me! Whoever knew baby making got so complex.. Wish I was mid 20s again, coming off contraception to 'see what happens' and voila !

lamby12 · 05/09/2020 22:04

Hi hope everyone is doing ok on the thread...? We've all gone quiet so either we've all managed to nicely forget about TTC stress or just on other threads!!! Grin
I had the day 21 blood tests on Friday, so the start of investigations for me. Little steps! Did anyone else have these and have anything other than a normal outcome?
X

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/09/2020 15:05

Hey @lamby12 good you've got ball rolling with tests! I had mine last month and all was normal. Will do day 3's if I come on mid month. I was on hols a couple of weeks ago so wanted to stay off here whilst away. Waiting on Dh's SA result next week! Has yours gone for his yet?

Aokbaby · 06/09/2020 16:37

Hey @lamby12 yea been taking a break and trying to relax as much as possible! How're you doing? Hoping all goes well with your blood tests 🤞 how's everyone else? @Tink2019 hope you're good x

Tink2019 · 06/09/2020 17:09

Hey everyone, I've also been away so have been taking a little break. Hope you're all doing ok 😊

@Aokbaby I'm ok thank you, I have my scan tomorrow to check if there's a heartbeat and rule out a molar pregnancy, so feeling very anxious today. Trying not to think the worst, but it's so hard not to! How are you doing? X

Aokbaby · 06/09/2020 17:32

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow @Tink2019 hope it's good news 💕
I'm ok, back using clear blue ovulation sticks, 4th day of flashing smiley today so soon into the tww. I stopped taking the b6 when af arrived, not sure if I'll start it again after ovulation or not, I'd be so gutted to have af late again this month only for her to show up 6days later. See how it goes, into cycle 9 now x

Crayon7 · 06/09/2020 17:47

Hope you all okay and I keep fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I am taking few weeks away and step back from here as I find myself stressed out recently. Will read and 🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️

Dbop100 · 06/09/2020 17:57

Good luck tomorrow @Tink2019 hoping you have good news xx

Where is everyone at in their cycle? I'm 3dpo so in the nice place of not trying anymore and not fighting the urge to test yet 🧘‍♀️ my period is due just before my birthday, a BFP would just be 👌

Also taking progesterone this month and so far not too bad except bizarrely sensitive nipples - sorry if that's TMI

Dbop100 · 06/09/2020 17:59
