@Seafrontsky It's so shit when temps / late AF get your hopes up - definitely take some time to yourself and it's 100% OK to be upset (and cry and each chocolate and drink wine). That's really frustrating that they won't book you in. Maybe leave a week then call again as things with covid still seem to be changing all the time xx

Aokbaby · 15/07/2020 12:43

@Seafrontsky oh so sorry to hear this, it's gutting, take care xx

Hoping41 · 15/07/2020 18:25

@seafrontsky I'm so sorry for you, it must be so frustrating knowing you can do it too.
I've also been in tears at the state of appointments on the NHS. SA is not happening for at least another 5 weeks and we need it for our referral. I spoke to a different doctor (my third now) who is going to try to refer us anyway as we will get to the front of the SA queue before the fertility clinic is up and running. So that is something to be grateful for- although it just makes me wonder why the other dr didn't suggest that. . . I even emailed the private hospital for prices yesterday and they replied that they too are not up and running. My acupuncturist can't start, the reflexology can't start . . . It's just too much now, I think. Hang in there 💜💜

lamby12 · 15/07/2020 21:27

@CeeCee1918 I'm not sure about scarring from the pregnancy. I have endometriosis and I worry that the previous pregnancy may have affected things and increased the endometriosis. In all previous scans and laparoscopy I had (pre-baby#1) I was reassured everything fertility wise was fine, but I haven't had one since then.
From what my doctor said if it's not visible on a scan (I.e. would need a laparoscopy) it shouldn't be affecting pregnancy and fertility. If it were, it would be visible. But who can get a scan at the moment?!?! I can't!

@Seafrontsky sorry to hear this. It's so rubbish when you aren't expecting AF especially when you feel quietly calmly confident that this was the month, such a disappointment.
Hope you are feeling ok.

Does anyone find flo or other apps to be accurate on cycle length? Mine has been thrown out this month because I logged 3 positive Ov tests. It's telling me AF is due in 7 days which is only 10 days after Ov, so I'm pretty sure it will be longer than that. Must remember not to get hopes up when flo says 'late' !

@Seafrontsky I'm really sorry AF arrived, sending big hugs! It never gets any easier. Just take some time for you lovely and we'll be here when you need us x x x

Twinkletoes85 · 16/07/2020 09:17

@lamby12 I used Flo and Fertility Friend. FF seemed to be more accurate quicker, I've just upgraded that to the subscription option for the next couple of months.

It wasn't until I started using opks that I realised Flo wasn't that accurate! But it's getting better too now I've got proper info to put in

Morning ladies

I've just got back from my scan (to follow up on a cyst I had 6 months ago - nhs delays due to COVID) and the cyst is gone. Apparently everything looks good down there which is good news, but also I'd love some answers about why it's not happening and what this pain on my left side is 🙃

The scanner confirmed I was correct in thinking I'd just ovulated on the right side, after tracking so long I've now realised I always ovulate a couple of days early on this side. Feeling really positive for this month as I got pregnant on the right side before (when I had a MC) so fingers crossed as we've been DTD loads and taking all the supplements 🤞🤞🤞

@lamby12 I use the app Clue to track which I find quite good. I only put in a positive OPK on one day I think if you put more in it's gets confused 🤷‍♀️

Aokbaby · 16/07/2020 10:39

@Dbop100 that's great news, it sounds like all the boxes have been ticked, just a waiting game now, best of luck x

KK251289 · 16/07/2020 12:26

@Dbop100 sounds like great news, fingers crossed for you this month, which CD are you?

Dbop100 · 16/07/2020 13:49

Thanks @Aokbaby & @KK251289

I'm CD14 today, got a positive CB the morning of CD12 and pretty sure I ovulated sometime that night / the next morning. Reckon my AF is due on 29th now - not loving being in the TTW again, did my head in last month and got really depressed x

Twinkletoes85 · 16/07/2020 14:39

@Dbop100 that's great news! Sounds like it just a case of waiting which is frustrating but good to know everything looks good xx

@Dbop100 atleast this time in TWW you know you've had tests done and you've got such a good chance. Stay positive and I hope you get a BFP xxx

lamby12 · 16/07/2020 19:22

@Dbop100 sounds very positive for his month. Good luck, have everything crossed for you (and for everyone else!!)
X

Aokbaby · 16/07/2020 21:38

@Dbop100 I'm due on 28th so in the tww with you-we got this!!! Hope it's 2 positives for us 💕

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/07/2020 22:06

@Aokbaby also due on 28th so hopefully all 3 of us will get their bfp's!! @Dbop100 🤞🏾

Dbop100 · 16/07/2020 23:20

Thanks for the positive vibes everyone! I'm kind of loosing hope so needed them... It's something about circling the 1 year mark, just feels like a rubbish milestone - maybe it'll be not as bad as I think once it gets here? Like when I turned 30...?!

@Aokbaby & @notyetamumbuttrying ooh surely if there is any justice at least ONE of us has to have a BFP right?? 🤞🤞🤞

Aokbaby · 16/07/2020 23:25

@Dbop100 @notyetamumbuttrying absolutely, come on 2 lines 🙌🤞💕

lamby12 · 17/07/2020 07:12

@Dbop100 @Aokbaby @notyetamumbuttrying I'm also due around then (somewhere between 26th-28th..!)

Hi everyone, I just wondered if I could join you all as you all seem so lovely. Me and my partner have been trying for almost 8 months now and I had been having regular cycles. However I’m now on my third week of Aunt Flo and because we are TTC the doctors have told me to just watch and wait. Sorry for the outlet just really feel like I could do with others to talk to. Will keep my fingers crossed for the BFPs for those in the TWW.

Tink2019 · 17/07/2020 07:46

@lamby12 @aokbaby @Dbop100 @notyetamumbuttrying we're going to be so anxious for you all around the 28th!! Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs 🤞🏻

@Florence13 Three weeks of AF doesn't sound fun. Really hope that stops for you soon x

Florence13 · 17/07/2020 07:48

@Tink2019 thank you, I’m hoping so to as can’t even TTC which is even more frustrating.

lamby12 · 17/07/2020 08:05

Thanks @Tink2019

@Florence13 welcome to the thread. 3 weeks of AF sounds very unpleasant! If you have never had this before I would certainly call the doctors back, say it's urgent and that you want to be referred for investigation ASAP.
It could just be an odd cycle, a harmless cyst, but it could be a warning sign to get checked. Please do be persistent with the doctors if you feel it's not normal for you.
X

Florence13 · 17/07/2020 08:10

@lamby12 thank you I definitely don’t feel it’s normal for me but have now spoken to them twice and the only option they give me is to go back on contraception which is the opposite to what I want to do.
