orangeloo · 07/06/2020 14:53

Thread 25 though! Think I joined at 13 or maybe even before Confused😖 but I'm grateful to be part of it nonetheless

Kiza · 07/06/2020 14:54

Oooos just realised two of you were already tagged 🤦🏼‍♀️

Peach1204 · 07/06/2020 19:33

Please can I join? Lots of TTC #1 threads and I'm hoping to pick up tips from all of them. Currently on cycle 2, 8 or 4 days post ovulation depending which app is correct! 🙈

Lozzlepop · 07/06/2020 20:38

Hey all! How are we all doing?

Thanks for starting the new thread @Annny27 ☺️

@whatsthecraic91 so happy to hear all is well, must have been lovely to see your little bean again ☺️

@orangeloo I know what you mean we started this journey 18 months ago now!

Hello and welcome @Peach1204 @Nazz10 @beachbum85 👋🏻

beachbum85 · 07/06/2020 23:08

Thank you for the welcome @orangeloo and @Lozzlepop!

How are you all doing? Where in the TTC journey are you?
AF due on Thursday for me and this TWW is feeling so long! I had quite a few twinges this weekend, and have had indigestion since Tues, which is unlike me, but no sore boobs and no other symptoms, so I'm not sure what to think!

EmmaAM · 08/06/2020 07:57

Am I ok to join? I had my coil removed last week so only just starting the TTC journey but it would be great to have people to talk to about the whole experience 😊

Lottiepink · 08/06/2020 09:20

@Anny27 thank you for the new thread!

@whatsthecraic91 so pleased the scan went well, at least you can relax until the 12 week one 😊 it will fly by!

Welcome @Nazz10, @beachbum85 , @Peach1204 and @EmmaAM

@Lozzlepop hopefully won't be long until you hear about the jobs! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@orangeloo with you on that one! Crazy where the times goes.. I can't even remember when I joined 🤯

Cd28 for me and my temp has dropped so af expected later today/tomorrow 😕

whatsthecraic91 · 08/06/2020 09:52

@Annny27 @Lozzlepop @Lottiepink thank you so much, I really still can't believe there's a baby in me, when I get scans It's like it's someone else's!

Hopefully by the time this thread is done you will all
be joining me as graduates ❤️🤞🏼

Annny27 · 08/06/2020 09:53

Morning everyone:) 5dpo here 🙌

@Lottiepink sorry that it looks like AF is imminent :( I always find the two days before AF when you know she is going to arrive, much more sad than when she actually arrives!

@orangeloo yep I think I joined around thread 20 maybe! Back in July last year!!

Welcome @EmmaAM @nazz10 and @Peach1204 do you use opks?

Welcome @beachbum85 :) I am 28 and this is our 6 month ttc after miscarriage but 12 month overall! So similar time to you - it definitely gets more depressing as the months go on!

@lozzlepop I remember at the start thinking "oh my goodness I hope I am not one of those people that takes over a year!!!!" And here we are 🤣🤣🤣 i like to think ita character building....:p

@kiza you must be towards end of tww now? 🤞🤞

@whatsthecraic91 if a few more get a bfp we should start a graduate thread. There used to be one that I was on when I was pregnant but they have all had their babies now haha

Nazz10 · 08/06/2020 09:59

Thanks ladies!

@Annny27 I am using OPKs. I stopped taking the pill on 14th May. Had my withdrawal bleed which stopped on the 19th. Not had any positive OPKs yet. Cd23!

Peach1204 · 08/06/2020 09:59

Thank you everyone for the welcome.

@Annny27 I have some OPKs coming tomorrow. My story is came off the pill at the end of March after 11 years, withdrawal bleed happened then AF and 28 days later AF for May. Since I came off the pill I've been using seven seas trying for a baby. Last month DH started taking wellbeing men's tablets. Friday I noticed MC was light brown then the next time thick and dark brown (another thread on here has mentioned implantation bleed?) then over the weekend feeling a bit sick and headachey. AF is due Sunday, if she doesn't appear I'll test. I'm not holding out hope as it is only month 2 for us. Xxx

Lozzlepop · 08/06/2020 11:38

Morning ladies! How are we all?

@beachbum85 we decided to start TTC in Dec 2018 so I came off the pill and my cycle regulated pretty quickly. Since then we have had 4 MC- 2 natural at 6 weeks and 2 MMC that we found out about at scans, we are currently undergoing tests for recurrent MC everything has come back fine so far. I am going in on Thursday to see if I have a blood clotting issue which can cause problems during pregnancy 🤞🏻

Hello and welcome @EmmaAM you have come to the right place the ladies here are the most lovely and supportive bunch!

@Lottiepink thanks lovely, just annoying me that its been dragged out so much! Sorry to hear AF is on the way 😔hope you are ok!

@whatsthecraic91 you really deserve it lovely ☺️ please check in with us, would love to keep upto date with your journey.

@Annny27 I know what you mean, I still can't believe we are here but we are so just got to make peace with it.

I have a friend who is in a similar boat to us and she found out she was having twins but unfortunately both twins miscarried- I am just so devastated for her 💔

EmmaAM · 08/06/2020 12:00

Thank you so much for the kind welcome! I'm currently still in the process of learning all the acronyms and if I'm totally honest, how the whole system of getting pregnant works 🙈

Kiza · 08/06/2020 13:26

Welcome @beachbum85 my story is 39 been TTC since Sept 2018, 2mc, all tests have come back sort of fine so awaiting IVF start date in the hope it's before my 40th in Oct. DP and I have tried all the supplements under the sun, hypnotherapy, reflexology, Accupuncture etc just trying to remain positive and believe our day will come 🤞🏼

Got to dash to an appointment so will catch up with you all later

SkyBlue20 · 08/06/2020 13:47

Hi all,

Can I join? We started TTC in January, got pregnant straight away, but sadly found out we'd had a MMC at the 12 week scan at the end of March (which I'd had to attend alone). Covid delays then meant that I didn't get an MVA until 1st May (they made me try expectant and medical management first, neither worked), and yesterday I finally got my first period post-miscarriage, so we'll be able to start trying again very soon.

It's been a very long process and I'm a bit nervous to get pregnant again as just know how anxiety-filled it will be, but equally hoping we're lucky and catch quite quickly again. I've turned 33 since we found out about the miscarriage and although I know I still have plenty of time, it's just made me a bit more aware of my age and fertility, etc.

Anyway, hello everybody and fingers crossed for us all xx

orangeloo · 08/06/2020 14:08

I agree @Anny27 I'm more sad when I feel AF coming or get a bfn. I'm almost over it by the time AF actually comes and want to move on.

It's definitely character building! Haha

@beachbum85 I'm 32 cycle 18 ttc. Never had a BFP. Underactive thyroid and low progesterone in last week of luteal phase. I spot from about 7DPO. Currently trying progesterone supplements from a private clinic and got a couple of months before I should be able to be referred on NHS.

Welcome @SkyBlue20 that's a long time for your miscarriage bless you.

goldenrose88 · 08/06/2020 14:40
