@Kiza omg! This has made my day too! ☺️💜 so amazing to see! Congratulations, you so deserve it. Here's to sticky and healthy 9 months 👏🏼🥳

It's not just the letter (as I made it sound) I'm In The queue to get my appointment. She said I should hear in next couple of weeks and it will be my treatment planning appointment which is good.

@Lozzlepop glad your ok and the fertility things are are in the pipeline. It's good they will re-test your thyroid. FX we come out of lockdown and you can have your wedding!

Kiza · 03/02/2021 18:36

@orangeloo oh wow that's great news. From your treatment planning appointment you will probably start IVF on your next bleed - how are you feeling about it?

Thanks @Lozzlepop hope you manage to have an awesome wedding this year!

XjustagirlX · 03/02/2021 18:45

@kiza I’m so happy for you. You need to keep us updated. I bet you feel on top of the world.

@Lozzlepop yes i paid privately £540 to do the nk testing. As the nhs don’t test for it. I booked it when everything was on hold during the summer lockdowns. I’m going next week to have my biopsy. I’m kind of hoping that they find something wrong which can hopefully be fixed.

thislittlebird · 03/02/2021 18:48

@kiza That’s great that you got in before 40 and first time went well! Fantastic.

pixiedust21 · 03/02/2021 19:23

Hi ladies can I join? :)

This is month 1 for us trying for our first baby.

Currently on CD32 (cycles are 34 days on average) so waiting to test or see if AF comes this week ahhhh.

Feels so weird to be this invested already as I said I'd be quite relaxed about it (lol...)

whatsthecraic91 · 04/02/2021 16:07

Hope you're all well ladies I haven't read your updates for a wee while but @Kiza you popped into my head today!! Congratulations, I am absolutely over the moon for you!!! I might even be welling up a bit 😅 Hope you're feeling well 🤞🏼 when's your due date? x

Kiza · 05/02/2021 07:57

@whatsthecraic91 oh thank you that's so sweet, using one of those online calculators it says mid October as I'm only 4 weeks. Only symptoms so far is cramps (which are scarily similar to AF cramps) and the occasional light pulling/tugging sensations.
I'm looking forward to the symptoms though as think they will give me some reassurance

@XjustagirlX elated, literally can't stop smiling to myself 🤦🏼‍♀️

MIW01 · 05/02/2021 09:17

So the fiasco continues . . . Got a call from the new surgery yesterday. The old surgery hadn't sent them any of our results and the only letter either surgery has about my HyCoSy is the consultant has written "will TTC naturally" at NO POINT WHATSOEVER did I say that. I said I'd ring up for Clomid in the new year! I am really sick to death of all these w***s effing everything up for us! Luckilly the new surgery is on it and has managed to get most of the results they need and sent them off for the new referral. I had to call the infertility team and ask them to send a HyCoSy report to the GP literally just saying the outcome of the HyCoSy showed I'm healthy!

Lozzlepop · 09/02/2021 15:19

Happy Tuesday ladies,

I hope we are all well! Completely off topic but happy to report that I've managed to get a new job and start in 2 weeks time, absolutely delighted!! How are we all?

Annny27 · 10/02/2021 22:50

Eveninf all 🥰 about 9dpo so end of the tww. Its always the worst time of the month for me when you start noticing signs that means AF is on the way :/

@Lozzlepop AMAZING news :D such a relief especially with that wedding to pay for haha! Enjoy your last 2 weeks of freedom!!

@MIW01 that's soooo frustrating. Hope they change your notes to "she wants IVF NOOOOW"

@kiza how's things going - whens your first scan? Lkterally still beaming for you! Theres a women in work who is approaching 40 and also going through infertility ans she was saying it will never happen as ivf isn't successful as her age and she was very please when I told her of my Internet friends success :D

How's everyone else getting on? We have our next fertility appointment on Monday so I will be asking about qhen we can start ivf as we are aproaching 2 years now (I still csnt believe it sometimes!!!!)

@Annny27 it never gets any easier each month does it. I remember the really really dark depression I sunk into for a while and feeling so hopeless. TTC truly is one heck of an emotional rollercoaster.
That's so sweet of you to tell her about your internet friend, I've talked about lots of you ladies to other people too!
5weeks and 2days now, starting to get sore boobs and very faint waves of nausea, I'm literally thinking bring on all the symptoms! I want to feel as pregnant as possible!

@Lozzlepop great news about your new job, must be so nice as well to have a focus and purpose for each day again as well. How's the wedding planning going?

@MIW01 it's so unfair that we get treated this way and have to fight so hard. I really hope the new place provides a much better service for you

MIW01 · 12/02/2021 13:45

Lol @Kiza I'm totally with you but careful what you wish for! I really do too

Congratulations @Lozzlepop

Day 28 and nothing detected by 1 step OPK thos month . . . Bizarre! Definitely no PCOS or anything like that detected ever!

Annny27 · 12/02/2021 14:17

Afternoon! Had some beige cm so thats the start of my spotting. I actually bought a test to take on valentines day so that I could surprise my husband with a bfp 🤣🤣🤣🤣 well used that and its bfn at 11dpo fmu so on the road to AF now 🤪🤪🤪🤪

@MIW01 wow thats frustrating! Do you get noticeable cm changes? I used to do opks once with second morning urine and then again at around 3pm just to make sure I didnt miss it. Really frustrating for you to be in limbo.

@kiza I know what you mean I would do anything to be pregnant and nauseous haha! Although you deffo still are allowed to complain and feel rubbish 💗

My brain drifted to “what if I’m pregnant” this month @Annny27 and AF kindly reminded me yesterday that I really was not pregnant lol. Gonna get some prosecco and have ordered Hotel Chocolat chocolate to celebrate/commiserate. Although I’m having my covid vaccine today, so that’s assuming I’m not having a bit of flu at the weekend.

MIW01 · 13/02/2021 10:44

@Annny27 I do go through CM changes but hear that doesn't indicate ovulation hist rise and fall in oestrogen. I'm now CD29 and before the HyCoSy cycles were 28 days!

Hope you are feeling more pregnant now @Kiza

Sorry to hear this @thislittlebird my temperature dropped this morning and I'm getting all the symptoms AF is on her way

pixiedust21 · 13/02/2021 11:52

Day 42 in the endless cycle..... sick of my life. Waiting for AF, previous tests have been BFN. Have sore boobs etc and keep thinking AF is coming, can only assume it was the pregnacare vitamins that have made my cycle super long. So annoying. I've got more preg tests but haven't the heart to take them as they'll be negative! Just want to move on! Grrrr.

MIW01 · 13/02/2021 15:27

@pixiedust21 how long have you been TTC?

pixiedust21 · 13/02/2021 17:18

@MIW01 it's only the first month for us x

MIW01 · 13/02/2021 17:55

I'm sure you're aware @pixiedust21 it is quite common to take up to a year TTC even of you're perfectly healthy unless you're over 35 then they say see your GP after 6 months. I know it is hard but at this stage it is really just quite ordinary and a case of being patient- if you do have menstrual cycle issues though definitely get checked out. If you've jist stopped hormonal contraception that can take 3 months or more before your cycles normalise

Many of us on this thread have been TTC for some time. I've been TTC since 2018 and never had a BFP have gone through all tests and everything looks OK.

pixiedust21 · 13/02/2021 19:30

@MIW01 ah no I know, I wasn't expecting to conceive on the first go! I know it can take time. I wasn't on hormonal contraception before and my cycles have always been regular.

Which is why I'm frustrated because it seems to just be taking these conception vitamins that have made my cycle this month - the first month we have been trying - really long. Which is just annoying as I'm in a limbo of not being pregnant but not having a period either. Hoping it goes back to normal soon so I can at least see where I am in the month! :)
