Morning, I'm now 11dpo, been trying to conceive for 15 months now.. I feel like It's never going to happen. On the waiting list for a lap and dye for endometriosis and possible pcos. I've taken a frer this morning and a cheapie. I'm sure there's a hint of a second line on the frer and the cheapie has been left for a while so counting it as an evap line. I don't know how many more months I can feel like this. I thought this month was it. Anyone see a line on my frer??

Ahhh that's a good plan to stay put.
I do occasionally track my cervix, and yes, high up is good. But I don't find it reliable enough for myself, especially since giving birth.
We aren't even officially TTC, basically just seeing what happens. We've been very lucky to conceive first cycle for both pregnancies, the second one resulted in a TMFR in February and my body is still recovering. I only know that I've ovulated because I've been doing tests to see where I'm at and tracked cm. It's not looking very promising but time will tell.

Sammyclaire22 · 19/05/2020 14:38

I wouldn't bother with the cervix- I've always checked mine but it's currently pretty low and half soft half open so no use in predicting!

Mich2020 · 19/05/2020 15:38

Keeping my fingers crossed for us all this month xx

I'm so sorry--I hope you are ok. Take some time to look after yourself. Sending lots of hugs x

niki26 · 20/05/2020 10:07

I'm so sorry :(

I also really apologise for raising your hopes - I don't normally comment on these threads but your first test really reminded me of mine and I was also quite late on in my cycle for such a faint line.

With my first pregnancy, I took a test the day before my period was due and I didn't have to even wait for the line - it literally went dark pink as the urine went over it and was darker than the control line. So when I tested the day before my period was due this time and got a faint line I presumed it was false. I inverted it and took a few more tests and a couple of days later they got a little darker but I never had the blazing positive that I had with my daughter. But I was still pregnant! I honestly thought I was helping you and that you would have the same outcome.

I could genuinely see lines on your tests and when I've had negative tests previously they have really been stark white.

I will really think twice before posting on someone's thread in future - I feel responsible for raising your hopes and I am really sorry for that.

Take care of yourself. I really hope you get your BFP soon.

Mich2020 · 20/05/2020 11:25

@niki26 please don't apologise. It's okay. There were lines, whether this was a chemical or things inside just are wrong and until my op I won't know anything more. Thank you for your kind words.
Here's to the next cycle hey 😊😊 xxx

@Mich2020 oh man, that's crap. 😔 have you thought about taking Agnus castus?

I feel sorry for you but, honestly, be serious. Who in their right mind is going to try to conceive at this time when we do not know what sort of world we will emerge to at the end of the pandemic?

NoCallerID · 20/05/2020 14:19

@Mich2020 it's a natural fertility booster who gets your hormones to the best levels to conceive.

NoCallerID · 20/05/2020 14:21

*which, obviously. Not who 😂

NoCallerID · 20/05/2020 14:22

@Lynda07 what happened to 'be kind'? If a topic isn't for you, then move on.

Sammyclaire22 · 20/05/2020 15:19

Bloody hell @lynda07 plenty of people. I'm a HCP and have been actively trying to conceive. I'm aware of the risks (very low) and have probably already had the virus. Don't comment if it's not constructive.

Sammyclaire22 · 20/05/2020 15:21

@mich2020 I've been taking agnus this month along with Co enz 10 and vitamin b supplements. I've read into each one and the agnus has quite a lot of medically supported info that it can help balance hormones esp progesterone. For me, it was worth trying it to see if it helped and it might only be coincidence x

Mich2020 · 20/05/2020 15:51

@Lynda07 thanks for your input but it's probably impossible for me to conceive until I've had my operation and the gynaecologists seen back in January persuaded us to try and conceive naturally as it will help my body massive amounts. I will not put things on hold because of a pandemic that will now always be part of our world. Until there's a proven cure for this nasty virus then it will continue to be around. If you don't or aren't wanting to continue to ttc during this then that's your choice but there are plenty of us who have problems and times like these are going to be tough for a lot of people. But it could take me another 1-2 years to have a baby. I will not stop my chances of conceiving naturally. I've been told that my options are limited after my op and that a hysterectomy would be my only 'cure' from endometriosis long term. Something I'm not willing to do at this moment in time. Thank you but your opinion should be kept to yourself if there's nothing nice to say.

@Mich2020 yes.

Mich2020 · 20/05/2020 16:32

NoCallerID · 20/05/2020 16:54

@Mich2020 up to ovulation when TTC.
I really hope it works for you. Might take a couple of months to get the full effects but when I restarted after my TMFR and MVA later on I ovulated within 3 weeks of taking it, which I was sent expecting at all.
I've also taken it with DC1 after my sister (midwife) recommended it. I literally tell everybody about it and one of my friends who took it on and started taking it had to cancel her IVF appointment because she conceived!

Mich2020 · 20/05/2020 17:05

Wow perfect. Thanks so much. I'll order some now and will be with me tomorrow so I can start. I stop taking as soon as I have a positive ovulation test yes?xx

Sammyclaire22 · 20/05/2020 18:02

I've still been taking mine, some of the studies I read said to take it continuously for at least 3 months before you might see effects, but there were also trials about breastfeeding newborns so I don't think its harmful. I will stop soon though just incase, when the placenta starts to take over and there is more of an impact what I ingest on the baby. I can find the details of the studies if it's of any interest? I think it's also supposed to help with pms symptoms!

Mich2020 · 20/05/2020 18:25

Yes that'll be lovely. Thank you. How's your frer lines coming along? I'd love to see them. Today's AF isn't as heavy as it usually is.. also had a sad face when I came home from long walk, my frers that I ordered had turned up. At least there's some in the cupboard for next month now.xx
