TMI- possible two fathers

Hi all, I have name changed for this as I really need some help.

I am late on my period today by 2 days.

Conceived date was 13th Feb. I have a 28 day usual cycle, no problem. I am not on any contraception at the moment...

I had sex with this man I am seeing at the moment (man 1) he finished in me 3 times over the course of 1 day/ evening. I had been staying at his for a few days. 13th was the only day we had sex (3 times).

Man 2 (my ex) I stupidly slept with the next day but we used protection. I was stupidly quite drunk, but the next day he told me he had w**ked himself off, and then put his 'covered' fingers inside me... I will not tell you what my reaction was to that

This was when he was doing something to me....

I know this sounds really, really bad but please don't judge me. I feel silly for even asking this but I need some advice. If I do not come on over the next few days I will of course take a test.

Obviously man 1 has the most chance... but he is a heavy smoker of 15 years, I hear that can reduce the sperm quality? Man 2 is a lot more healthier

In reality ofcourse you could be pregnant, if you are late by 2 days you would get a positive test by now

It sounds like man1 is the father of your child. Heavy smoking may decrease sperm quality but in years gone by when most people, especially men, smoked, plenty of babies were conceived. Many of us wouldn't be here now if that theory was universally true.

Do a pregnancy test and then decide whether or not you want a baby at the moment. No need to tell possible dad at the moment.

They're literally a day apart. It could be either and there's no real way to narrow it down.

Firstly don’t stress until you’ve got the positive test (if you do get a positive even). Do a test today, you could go to any corner shop or 24hr supermarket . It could be either guy but the most likely would be man 1. If you’re usually regular and you’re 2 days late it could be very likely. But nobody knows until you do a test.

If it turns out that you are pregnant, there is absolutely no possible way to tell which man is the father until such time as you can conduct a paternity test. It’s really as simple as that. You could drive yourself crazy guessing but that’s the bottom line.

Man 1 is more likely.

You can’t say for certain. It’s best to wait to conduct a DNA test. That is the only way.

Do you know the soonest you can take a DNA test ? That can happen in the womb still can't it? X

@NameChange30 you can find out before birth (as early as 7 weeks) but they're around £800! I guess for piece of mind it's good, but that could be baby pram..!

Hard situation, If id have to pick I'd say man 1 is the father (presuming you get a BFP) but there is always a chance that man 2 could've impregnated you.

Was thinking maybe the op's heating was broken and he had woolly gloves on!!

Taking DNA from a baby in the womb can damage the development of the foetus... it can even result in a miscarriage.

It’s up to you... but it’s safer for the baby to wait until birth

That's not true about the DNA @emzie17 they take the dna from a blood sample of the mother not from the womb

If you are not pregnant then please get your contraception situation sorted out.

Take a pregnancy test and see what the result is, before you start panicking about raising 800 quid for a prenatal DNA test. If the test is negative, then please get some contraception sorted so you don't have this dilemma again.

I'm not judging you I'm judging your twat of an ex for doing that to you I bet you were furious! I hope you've learnt your lesson and don't sleep with him again!
It's probably more likely to be the 1st one, although why oh why did you have unprotected sex with him when you weren't on contraception? Hopefully it's a false alarm, unless you want a baby?

Not on contraception at the moment as I have not reacted well to the pill or implant.

I know it's a risk but, I am having sex when I don't ovulate only... it's worked for me before and friends. If I get BFP it's not the end of the world and I would be happy.
