@triedandtestedteacher not from personal experience but from others, if it's an early loss the pregnancy tests go negative fairly quickly (I.e before 6 weeks)

That's just what I have observed in others but it looks really promissing that yours is still a strong positive

Whiffle77 · 30/03/2020 09:47

Sorry @MilsCookie that's a real bummer. I would also take today as cd1, I always wait for proper bleeding.
I'm sorry @scrumdiddly123 but like @Annny27 said bleeding can be common - but given we have all been there before it's still really worrying. Even if you are sure it is another MC, I would call your doctor. Best to make sure, and if it is then you want it on your file. Really sorry that you are having such a worry.

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 09:48

@MilsCookie I'm sorry af arrived. ThanksThanks

Whiffle77 · 30/03/2020 09:48

Cross posted @triedandtestedteacher - will be keeping my fingers crossed for the GP and that all is ok for you too.

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 09:49

@Annny27 that's what I was saying to my mum this morning. You would think you'd have faint lines this early on if it's not viable. Waiting for go to call me back not that they can do anything

MilsCookie · 30/03/2020 10:08

@triedandtestedteacher ahhhhh no I'm so sorry. It could all still be okay though, but must be such a worrying time. Sorry you're having to go through this. Hand hold xxxxx

@Annny27 @Whiffle77 thanks girls. Will probably take this as CD1 then. Anny I really hope this is it for you... hopefully your temp doesn't reflect what's actually happening!! Fingers crossed xxxxx

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 10:17

Thanks lovelies.
I’ve just phoned EPU and left a message as GP did refer me last week and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’ve had sharp, left sided pain over the weekend and now this so they might want to check me over. Will let you know! I did test this morning before I realised there was blood, just with a cheapie and it was probably the same darkness as when I last tested on Saturday. So 🤷‍♀️
Not feeling at all hopeful but will keep you updated x

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 10:19

@triedandtestedteacher I’d take that as a positive that you’re still getting such a strong line! How far do you think you are now?

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 10:35

Gp was nice. Said that could go down to epau but I think I'd rather wait it out. At least it's on my medical record now.

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 10:37

@scrumdiddly123 are you going to go? You need to be careful if you've got pain in your side.

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 10:40

@triedandtestedteacher I’m waiting for them to get back to me. I know they only have appointments in the morning so doubt they’ll be able to see me today. I’m only 5 weeks too so they wouldn’t be able to do/see much I don’t think? I really don’t know what to think!

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 10:49

No I don't think they would. Maybe a thickened lining? A tiny sac perhaps. Plus they'd want to do internal which I know they say is fine but with my last miscarriage they saw heartbeat with internal scan but the sonographer was really rough. I was sore for days. I'm going to try to avoid it if I can

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 11:34

@triedandtestedteacher with my last MC I went for a scan at 8 weeks and they could see a yolk sac and tiny fetal pole that they dated as 4+6 weeks. So I guess it is possible to see something this early.
I’ve put a pad on and no more bleeding, just a tiny bit of watery red/brown when I wipe. God I hate this!

Charlott3 · 30/03/2020 11:35

Hi all, hoping it ok to join your chat! Im currently 10dpo and really really hoping for a BFP soon!! I lost my twins last year and have been TTC again since July last year. After my D&C my cycles have been super long but greatful i have been ovulating. Hoping for BFP's all round x

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 11:39

@scrumdiddly123 that's interesting. Was that internal and external? It is rubbish the not knowing

Annny27 · 30/03/2020 12:08

AF finally arrived just now - I am very glad I temp otherwise I would have been soooo excited that my period was 1 day late!

Good luck to all you pregnant ladies 💗💗

@Annny27 ahhhh Anny I'm sorry it wasn't your month either :-( looks like we are cycle buddies this month!! Fingers crossed for us both xxxxx

Whiffle77 · 30/03/2020 12:50

Sorry guys, didnt mean to get your hopes up. Hope to see you soon xx

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 14:45

I’ve got a scan at EPU tomorrow morning. Seems a bit pointless as I know exactly what’s happening but at least it will be documented.
Sorry to the ladies who AF has arrived, may see you on the April thread if I can face it x

Fizzl · 30/03/2020 14:48

Ah @MilsCookie and @Annn27 I'm sorry 😔. Life does feel so cruel sometimes. Feel free to join my pity party, not that it's making me feel any better about things! But we can feel sorry for ourselves together before we dust ourselves off again 💪.

@Anny27 I started to do some googling (I know I know) last night about short luteal phase and on a whim I've ordered some high strength vit b complex. But I have no idea if I should take this alongside pregnacare, if I should stop taking it if I got a BFP and now I feel more stressed about it all 😂. Think I've probably jumped the gun and just need to chill out. I've got time to figure it all out anyway before we start trying again 😒.

@MilsCookie I did speak with the consultant about 3 weeks ago and at that point they were saying there was no reason to stop ttc from a medical perspective based on what they know about the virus. So that does reassure me in one sense but I just don't feel like I want to rely on the nhs if something went wrong again as I'd probably forever regret my decision 😞.

@triedandtestedteacher @scrumdiddly123 thinking of you both 💐 hope you're doing ok and get some answers (hopefully good news!)

Fizzl · 30/03/2020 14:48

@Annny27 so it tagged you wrong both times

GRACE0206 · 30/03/2020 15:55

Just catching up with comments. Thanks to all who responded. A club we never want to be in but glad there's people who understand what you go through. Thanks all x

triedandtestedteacher · 31/03/2020 10:23

@scrumdiddly123 good luck for the scan xx
