Hey @ChampooPapi. Thank you for taking the time to message me, I really appreciate that. I agree that I'm definitely moving to a better head space than I was straight after the MMC, but it still hurts like a bitch every time AF shows her ugly head! I know that it will happen for me (and all the other ladies on here) and I just have to try and relax and trust in nature and my body (although that is soooo much easier said than done!)

How are you getting on in the early stages of pregnancy? I honestly couldn't be happier for you. I know you were trying for 5 months and it must've been so hard for it to go on for that long without seeing those 2 lines. I'm keeping everything in my body crossed that you have a healthy bean this time and in December you get to hold your baby. Big love and positive vibes xxxxxxxxx

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 11:05

@scrumdiddly123 I'm assuming AF is here (although will check my mooncup later this afternoon!) so not going to use anymore tests. If it doesn't get heavier then I might do a test in a few days but really don't think I am pregnant. How are you getting on? xx

@triedandtestedteacher hope you're okay too lovely xxxx

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 12:04

Yep theres slight brown cm for me but 0 cramps and 0 blood yet. So we'll see, she still has the full day to show up haha.

@milscookie yep I just want her to arrive now and not play around with me Haha!

@Whiffle77 @scrumdiddly123 I will test tomorrow if she doesnt arrive 🤞🤞

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 12:28

@annny27 are you thinking it could be implantation? Fingers crossed it is!!! xxx

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 13:11

No I'm pretty sure she is just arriving late because my temps dropped so it's just a waiting game 🙄🙄 @milscookie

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 13:25

@Annny27 we're in exactly the same boat then!! It's just so frustrating isn't it :-( xx

triedandtestedteacher · 29/03/2020 13:39

@MilsCookie @scrumdiddly123 haven't had any more bleeding So I still have hope! I'll keep you posted. If I'm still unsure next week I'm going to do a digi and see if the weeks have gone to 2/3. Not full proof but something!

GRACE0206 · 29/03/2020 15:51

Hi all
I had a missed miscarriage 8 weeks ago and went through a d and c. I am having tough days still and anxiety a lot. It's made worse by the fact that my consultant confirmed that she thinks my cervix is very short, less than 1 cm, although this is based on visual assessment whilst conducting the procedure. She said I will need a stitch but seemed quite relaxed about this. The length is worrying me massively as I can't see much other than advice saying under 2.5 cm is short. So I am looking for advice from any women with a very short cervix who have had successful pregnancies.

I am terrified that as well as grieving my loss, I might never have a successful pregnancy due to a short cervix. Any advice welcome. Thank you all in advance

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 19:10

15dpo and its almost the end of the day and my period still isnt here? But I tested bfn yesterday at 14dpo so clearly it's too late for implantation and now the brown cm has completely disappeared and now its white cm. I will be super frustrated if she comes tonight or tomorrow now because she is tricking me 😭😭

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 19:11

@GRACE0206 sorry to hear of your loss :( I don't have any knowledge of a short cervix I am sorry :( if you search in mumsnet for short cervix then hopefully something relevant will come up 🤞🤞🤞

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 20:04

@Annny27 Anny Anny Anny ..... ME TOO!!!!!! Literally haven't had another drop of blood all day but have had a fair amount of creamy CM. What is going on?!! I was beginning to wonder whether I had actually ovulated later than I thought (I don't temp so I assumed I ovulated after my surge but maybe she geared up to ovulate and didn't...) and the cramps I've been feeling yesterday and today plus the little drop of brown blood this morning were implantation related? I wonder if it's the same for you?! I know I'm probably clutching at straws and AF is just teasing me but I have never had a period start like this before... It's so weird we're going through the same thing!!

Also the month I did conceive I must have ovulated later than I thought because we were using condoms up until CD21 (back when we were trying not to conceive) and I managed to get pregnant! I just want to know what's going on!!

Hi @GRACE0206 I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not too sure about a short cervix either, sorry. Hope you get some answers soon xxx

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 20:24

@milscookie soo strange!!! Hopefully she stays away for both of us but I am not super hopeful. Yeah usually my period starts with brown and then quickly progresses to red.

Let me know in the morning whether she has arrived or not! Annoying thing is I have no tests left so have to get one tomorrow if AF doesnt turn up

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 21:15

@Annny27 so so strange! I'm not hopeful either but you never know. Have you had any cramps? My cervix still feels high and soft but I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I've got a couple of tests left but I'm going to keep waiting for AF I think xxx

Whiffle77 · 29/03/2020 21:15

I was spotting brown cm even on the day I got my positive, which was the day before AF due for me...so I will still be keeping my fingers crossed for you two! Smile keep us updated

Annny27 · 29/03/2020 21:58

@whiffle77 🤞🤞 theres a bit of hope then

@MilsCookie I have had some cramping but not loads - I just have no idea what's going on 🤣🤣

MilsCookie · 29/03/2020 22:40

Intriguing! Thanks @Whiffle77 did you have any cramping?

Mine is so weird, it just keeps coming and going but when I feel it, it really does feel like AF is on her way! Had these now for over 24 hours with not a drop of blood. Just that little bit of brown this morning. I wish I could stick a camera up there to see what was going on!! Xx

Fizzl · 29/03/2020 23:39

Ahh fingers crossed @MilsCookie and @Annny27 is there a chance you might have implanted slightly later?! I hope this is good news for you but understand about not wanting to get hopes up either!

Glad things seem to have settled for you @triedandtestedteacher

@GRACE0206 sorry you find yourself here with us. I can't offer any advice about short cervix but it sounds positive that they have identified this now and have a plan to treat in any future pregnancy. I've heard of incompetent cervix before and ladies have to have a stitch which I believe is quite a quick procedure and generally very successful. Totally get the anxiety though, I used to worry we wouldn't ever get pregnant and now my biggest worry is we will never have a healthy pregnancy. It's still early days for you though and things do get easier 💐

Why are our bodies so cruel and unpredictable?! My cycle always used to be 29-32 days roughly very rarely any less and since MC my cycles have been either 27-28days 🙄. I'm now starting to worry a little that my luteal phase isn't long enough as I don't ovulate until around CD17-18. If we do stop ttc (which is looking very likely) I will use the next couple of months to monitor it more closely and see what happens.

I've been feeling quite annoyed about everything tonight. After being quite accepting that this month wasn't meant to be it's hit me now that if we stop ttc I won't be pregnant past my due date (which I hoped we would) and I won't be pregnant within 6months of miscarriage (I'd read somewhere your more likely to have a successful pregnancy if you fall again within 6 months, might be a load of rubbish but it's stuck in my mind) and I'm feeling quite down about it all again. We waited 3months to get ourselves in the best position to ttc and to make sure we were ready again and now I'm starting to wish we hadn't waited as I could have been pregnant now😒. So frustrating when we are ready again and our original reasons for wanting to wait now seem irrelevant as it looks like we'll end up waiting another few months. Bloomin life spanners! I know I need to keep some perspective and some people have got it far worse right now with everything that's going on. Im just having a pity party for one tonight I think 🥳

Whiffle77 · 30/03/2020 08:04

Yes I had some cramping too, I was adamant it was AF, because it felt exactly like my AF the month before did...but then still decided to test and got a second line! It was really odd. How are you both today?
Ahhh @Fizzl everyone is allowed a pity party sometimes, and this is definitely the place to do it! Something I kept telling myself is that a month feels REALLY long now, but when we have actually finally (hopefully) got a child a month is nothing - if that makes sense? Once its here, its here forever. It's hard bloody work though, all the hope and loss - especially in a bloody pandemic!
Hope you are ok today @triedandtestedteacher

scrumdiddly123 · 30/03/2020 09:06

Morning ladies, I’ve woken with red bleeding this morning after having tummy ache all night so I think that’s it over for me again. 3rd MC in a row, don’t know what to do now!

MilsCookie · 30/03/2020 09:18

Well, the hopes and dreams have been dashed once again ladies! AF has fully arrived this morning with intense cramps to go with it just for good measure. As if it's not shit enough anyway waking up to blood, why not kick her when she's down and put her in some physical agony too!! Hmm So now I'm not sure whether yesterday or today is CD1 cos yesterday I literally had that tiny amount of spotting. What would you do?

@Fizzl ahhh lovely I totally understand how you must feel. Try not to dwell on whether or not you would be pregnant by now or not, although I sometimes think that about our first month after the mmc where we didn't try, cos that has been the only month since that I've had any EWCM! If it's what you both want then you should still go for it I think. Lots of people are still TTC so don't feel bad if you still want to. Maybe you could call the GP and ask their advice, given that you'd need more hospital visits etc? My cycles have been slightly shorter since the mmc too. They ranged between 31-36 days before and since the mmc they've been 31, 34, 31, 31!

@scrumdiddly123 oh no lovely I'm so so sorry. Have you taken another test? I would call your GP and try and get some tests organised. See what they say? Just because of corona, all other medical requirements can't just stop can they? Hope you're okay xxxxxx

MilsCookie · 30/03/2020 09:21

Also hope you're okay this morning @Annny27 and @triedandtestedteacher xxx

Annny27 · 30/03/2020 09:31

Morning!

@milscookie sorry lovely :( I would say today was cd1, I always class cd1 aa the first day of proper bleeding. Sorry that she arrived :( my AF still hasnt arrived and if I wasnt temping I would be SUPER excited but my temps are really low which means she is on the way just wish she would fricking hurry up!!!!!

@fizzl it's so frustrating to think how long it might take and how long it has been already :( definitley a good idea to track your LP this month and theres some things you can do to lengthen it apparently!

Annny27 · 30/03/2020 09:33

@scrumdiddly123 I am so sorry lovely :( can you call the EPU to see if they can see you? Bleeding can be very common early pregnancy. There was a lady on here who had two sacs and one of them bled but she still had a healthy baby in there. It might be the case too xxx

triedandtestedteacher · 30/03/2020 09:45

Thanks everyone for asking. Had a bit more bright red when I wiped this morning. Tested again and I think it looks darker than control line. Wondering if it's a slow loss? If it was brown I wouldn't be as worried but def was fresh blood Idk. Have rang my gp and they're supposed to be calling me back

@scrumdiddly123 sorry you're going through this as well! God it's so crap. Have you tested again?
