I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

It is confusing @Carley321

How are you getting on today?

Carley321 · 29/02/2020 17:20

@Kona84 just a bit of brown spotting which is the norm for me 2 days before af. Plus a 1bpm drop on the rhr. So thinking af will prob show tomoz now. It never gets easier to see that dreaded witch does not!

How about you?

Kona84 · 29/02/2020 17:34

I’m 9DPO and just seen 1bpm drop in RHR so either it’s the implantation dip that other charts look to show and I’ll get a spike tomorrow or it’ll start dropping down.
I don’t feel much symptoms other than starving and sleepy

biscuit13 · 01/03/2020 07:47

@Kona84 @Eatsleepbakerepeat @SomethingAboutYou hi me again, I'm a little worried, over the last 2 days my rhr has dropped by 4bpm!! From 81 to 77, but my test yesterday the line was darker and I've still got loads of symptoms. Do you think I'm over worrying, I've taking the fitbit off now as its stressing me out that something could be wrong. Although I have been treating more the last couple of days, and now that I've told my husband I'm not as anxious anymore. I'm 4 and a half weeks now. Anything to worry about?

SomethingAboutYou · 01/03/2020 08:31

@biscuit13 mine has dropped a little too. I'm 6+4 now. I worried at first, but there's not much we can do, and nausea set in yesterday so still having symptoms. It is still higher than my normal rhr so hoping it is just levelling out. It can't keep climbing forever, atleast that's what I'm telling myself to stay positive. X

I think it’s smart to take it off.
I can’t really say what’s normal as I haven’t had a successful pregnancy would be nice to hear from people that have tracked for fully term.

I will tell you my experience was at 6 weeks I noticed my boobs were not hurting and I felt well, I remember saying to my partner I feel quite lucky as for some people morning sickness as already started. I then started bleeding the next week and miscarriage confirmed the week after. They had dated the pregnancy ending at 6weeks 4 days.
I only looked at my RHR in hindsight.

I would say if you are worried speak to doctor but as long as your symptoms are still there I wouldn’t focus on RHR.
Either turn of the option to view HR on the watch screen and vow to not check the data until you are further along or take it off all together.

I had a dip in RHR yesterday at 9dpo to 68bpm it’s now gone back up to 69bpm.

Please do not worry ladies remember this is not proven science just theory

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 01/03/2020 09:46

Hey lovely ladies mine dipped 1bpm the other day but the next day went up, as much as pregnancy affects it other things will too I didnt sleep with mine on last night as I was finding it was the first thing I was looking at when I woke up so thought a healthy break would be good!!
It sounds daft but atm I'm so confused about how far I am some things say 5+4 some 5 and I know its only few days but i was wanting to book an early scan so it mattered for that but hey ho its booked now at what I think is 7+5 eekk

Kona84 · 01/03/2020 12:49

@Eatsleepbakerepeat they always date it from the 1st day of your last period. Then when you are further along they readjust according to size.

I’m 10DPO today and felt a bit crampy an hour ago not sure if body is warming up for AF.
It’s my first one after miscarriage so feeling a bit nervous

biscuit13 · 01/03/2020 17:39

@Kona84 @SomethingAboutYou thankyou for your replies, I have taken it off now so I cant worry, used up the last of my tests this afternoon, and free came up with a darker line instantly and got my digital too :) so I feel a lot better and am going to stop worrying. Weve booked an early scan for when I should be 7+4 yay!!
Also I'm already getting nauseous, this morning I was gagging while trying to have a shower 🙄 but it's probably the ONLY time I wont mind feeling rough :)

Carley321 · 01/03/2020 19:19

Hi all. Af showed today 🙁 with her crappy aches and pains. So strange that I didn’t have any leading up to today though. I literally have a different cycle every month. It’s just cruel 😢.
Feeling crappy 2 years is such a long time!

Keeping 🤞 for you ladies. My rhr has been a little odd this month but defo got the drop for af. I’ll post in a bit.

Carley321 · 01/03/2020 19:21

🖕 to it! I may have to turn my rhr off as it’s becoming obsessive!

@Carley321 I’m sorry, so frustrating for you.
Are you going to keep it on until ovulation?
I think I’m out this month too, got quite a bit of cramping today not super painful but noticeable.
I might take a test on the 4th March as it’s my partners birthday

Kona84 · 01/03/2020 21:19

If AF hasn’t come that is

Kona84 · 02/03/2020 13:38

My RHR has dropped to 67bpm today, 11DPO

Alicespring · 02/03/2020 14:25

@Kona84

My last pregnancy (misscarriage at 7 weeks) mine jumped about by a few BPM on diff days, this was well before I miscarried so I think it is normal for it to dip and things slightly, probably depends on how hydrated and things you are too. I wouldn't worry too much, you're not out until AF comes 🙂

@Carley321

Is it possible you had a chemical this month?
I had tested early and got a positive and didn't get any of my usual PMS symptoms...every month I get horrendous sore boobs and really bad mood and I had none and then bled so I'm wondering if lack of usual monthly symptoms could mean that!

OP posts:
Alicespring · 02/03/2020 14:32

These were my charts running up to my misscarriage.....I misscarried on the 4th Dec so you can see the diff in heart rate. Have to say though I was very stressed around that time so also not sure if that would make a diff (probably)

@Kona84 yea i think I’ll keep it on. I hopefully have my lap and dye this month though so won’t be doing much trying! How are you feeling today?

Af has come with vengeance! I’m usually very light and have hardly anything but this month is horrendous. TMI lots of pain and pretty heavy!

Sorry about your miscarriage @Alicespring that’s crap! How are you today? How can you tell
If it’s a chemical?

Kona84 · 02/03/2020 19:07

I’ve got the pre flow spotting today so I am out. I reckon it’ll start fully tomorrow I’ll only be 12dpo but I’ll be on CD43 after the miscarriage so I’m not too worried about the short Leautal phase.
Fingers crossed that March is my lucky month

Kona84 · 02/03/2020 19:09

Sorry @Carley321 I can’t be much help as I don’t think I’ve ever had a Chemical pregnancy.

Alicespring · 02/03/2020 19:21

@Carley321 you will test positive for it with a pregnancy test, then for whatever reason it isn't viable. Apparently this happens in 50-60% of pregnancies but you won't know about it if you don't test as it usually comes around the same time as your period so most woman just mistake it for a period.
I've had two and in my experience the periods have been alot heavier with bigger clots and much sorer cramps

OP posts:
Carley321 · 03/03/2020 06:44

Sorry @Kona84 🙁. Good luck for March.
I’m pretty sure my luteal phase is only around 12 days I worry about that but no one has ever seemed concerned or even asked me really 🤔 and I’m under a Gaeny.

@Alicespring Oh really. Well this is a strange period. Super heavy, more prolonged cramping and feel even more shitty than usual 🤔

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 03/03/2020 09:45

Fitbit is coming off rhr dropped by 2bpm today I'm 5+3 so freaking out logically I know theres so many other reasons it could have dipped but in my head I always go for the worst reason

biscuit13 · 03/03/2020 09:54

@eatsleepbakerepeat yeah I've taken mine off and I feel a lot more relaxed. Mine had dropped but my tests were getting darker so it must be where I had a relaxing weekend... I know what you mean though you always fear the worst! Take it off and relax :)

Alicespring · 03/03/2020 11:50

I'm due to ovulate (today going by opks) and my HR has gone up by 2bpm overnight. Hopefully this is my month!
