I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

So heart rate dropped by 1bpm yesterday and then went up by 2bpm today! Thought it was a good sign so took a FRER and BFN :( I'm 11dpo so I guess that means I'm out. .. there was absolutely nothing there

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 24/02/2020 09:37

@biscuit13 I did one at 11dpo and 13dpo and both BFN
Was sure I was out but then af didnt come and I waited until 16dpo and got a bfp!!! So dont rule yourself out just yet

biscuit13 · 24/02/2020 10:15

@eatsleepbakerepeat ok that's given me a little bit of hope again.
I just really feel like I'm going to get AF, my boobs are so painful and this is a classic pre AF symptom for me. I'll keep my fingers crossed though

Kona84 · 24/02/2020 13:24

Oh no @biscuit13 I still have fingers crossed for you.

@Eatsleepbakerepeat has it sunk in yet?

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 24/02/2020 14:51

@Kona84 absolutely not!! I poas again this morning just to check (even tho I'd already done 5!) Positive stronger today!! Ekk
I feel like I dont know what to do tho cos I dont want to call the drs too soon but then dont want to leave it too late and look like I dont care 🙈
Trying to decide how were going to tell my parents and family which is so exciting!

Baby dust and love for you all!!

Kona84 · 24/02/2020 16:23

So my RHR is still sat at 67 I have checked my December chart and it stayed at 67 for 2 days then started climbing.
I had what I can only describe as a twinge in my left side today low down near my belt line. It didn’t last too long, I input the symptom into Ovia and it said it could be a sign of implantation.
I’m 4dpo.
So nervous to look at my HR tomorrow, I’m sure I’ll feel horrible if it drops.
I’m gonna cut out my black coffee from now until AF.

Kona84 · 24/02/2020 16:25

@Eatsleepbakerepeat I phoned the doctors the week of finding out. I thought I’d need N appointment with doctor to be referred to midwife but it wasn’t the case. I told the receptionist what I wanted and she booked me in with midwife. I phoned when 5 weeks pregnant and had midwife at 8 weeks. It’s just the booking in appointment.
If I get a positive this month I will be phoning straight away. I wouldn’t mind getting my progesterone levels checked. Don’t think they will do it but can try

Juno231 · 24/02/2020 16:30

Had a sharp peak of 71 at 9 DPO (Thurs) which then rapidly plummeted for AF that unexpectedly started today two days early (spotting yday). Dropped to 65 for spotting and is down to 63 today. If it wasn't for my BFNs last week I'd be convinced I'd had an early chemical!

Alicespring · 24/02/2020 19:06

@Juno231 I think I had a chemical. I tested early and got really faint but there positives but my heart rate dropped and I got AF almost a week later than I was expecting. Lesson learned not to early test but I think this month I'm going to have to take off my Fitbit as I'll get obsessed 🙈

Juno231 · 24/02/2020 19:24

@Alicespring ah see I'm currently off the opinion that I'd want to know about my chemicals in case they keep happening/are indicative of something else. That's me sayng that in cycle 1/2 - let's see how I feel about it months down the line lol

Kona84 · 25/02/2020 07:09

So my RHR yesterday actually ended up at 68.
So a rise of 1bpm. I’ve added some more screen shots of my heart rate.
Ovulation peak test 19th so ovulated on the 20th

@kona84 it's sounding very promising for you! Are you sure about your ovulation date though as I think implantation is meant to be highly unlikely at 4 DPO?

Kona84 · 25/02/2020 07:52

@Eatsleepbakerepeat I am pretty certain but it is my first ovulation after miscarriage so always room for second guesses.

Sorry tagged wrong person @Juno231

biscuit13 · 25/02/2020 13:12

@Kona84 @Eatsleepbakerepeat my rhr is still increasing by about 1bpm a day 🤞🏻 it's now at 78bpm and normally about 69bpm.
I did a boots cheapie this morning and could swear I could see something very very faint.... 11/12dpo today.

Kona84 · 25/02/2020 15:32

Oh wow @biscuit13 that’s sounds promising.
I hope you get your BFP by time the week is out

biscuit13 · 25/02/2020 17:29

@Kona84 @Eatsleepbakerepeat I think this is it!!!

I can see something.
So excited for you, how many BFP’s is it on this thread now? I hope I’m next

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 25/02/2020 18:22

@biscuit13 eeekkkk there looks to be a line there 🤞🤞
How exciting

biscuit13 · 25/02/2020 19:48

@Kona84 @Eatsleepbakerepeat its faint but it's there, a bit clearer in real life. Thankyou :) so excited!!

Kona84 · 25/02/2020 21:14

I’m so happy for everyone

Kona84 · 26/02/2020 12:00

@biscuit13 did you do another test?

Kona84 · 26/02/2020 12:01

My heart rate has gone up again by 1bpm

Alicespring · 26/02/2020 13:24

Right my AF is finished so now I'm trying again and will keep an eye on my rhr for this month! I'm excited and nervous

@Alicespring has your RHR changed around AF? Did it plummet?
