I saw a thread about this back from 2019, a few people noticed their resting heart rate started to increase steadily after ovulation and they got there bfp. (Although people did report it rose then dropped before AF)

Just wondering if anyone on here has tracked and got a definite bfp?

I'm currently 10dpo and my heart rate has jumped from 60bpm to 67bpm since ovulation.

Not sure when my period is due as they are irregular.

Attached my chart too!

The spotting has turned to light period so definitely on to the next go.
I’m not to bummed out as it is the first one after miscarriage, I’m gonna start testing ovulation at day 10

Alicespring · 03/03/2020 23:28

@Kona84 hopefully the next one is your month! Fx for you

So AF done with it was worse than normal but I expected it as first one after miscarriage.
Today is cycle day 8 for me, I’ve started ovulation testing and got a low 0.32 today on premom.
I only tested because I saw my heart rate increasing back to ovulation rate and I don’t want to miss it. I know my cycles could have changed and I have plenty of tests so will do it daily from now.
My chart below shows a dip for AF and now it’s on its way back up again

How is everyone else doing?

Alicespring · 11/03/2020 08:25

@Kona84

My first AF after misscarriage was pretty bad also, so I know how you feel.

I'm 8dpo today (ov on the 3rd) Attached my chart. Ignore the big massive peak....I had been out and had more than a few wines 🙈 it dropped at 5dpo and now creeping back up. Does this for AF so could be either at this point. Also fighting off a cold so thats probably affecting my RHR. Your rising RHR looks positive for ovulation soon though so fingers crossed for you!

Hi all sorry I've not commented in a while been busy busy fingers crossed this is the month for you all
I'm terrified atm got early scan Wednesday been feeling rotten sick and tired but today had cramps like I was going to have an upset tummy and a massive urge to go but nothing with back ache too and over the last days dropped 2bpm so decided to stop wearing fit bit as getting totally obsessed
Scary old time :(

Alicespring · 13/03/2020 06:58

@Eatsleepbakerepeat
Hope everything goes okay at your scan (I'm sure it will!) I've read lots of threads on this and plenty of woman have had their rhr drop and had a normal pregnancy, and it's not solid evidence that it's linked to anything bad

@Eatsleepbakerepeat I hope everything goes ok at your scan, let us know. I have an early scan next weekend. Also took my fitbit off about a week and a half ago because I was worrying. I feel a lot more relaxed now I'm not checking it, just going by my body and symptoms.
I also have some dull cramps on and off as if I'm about to come on AF and i go to the toilet and check but luckily nothing there. How far along will you be at your scan?

bluebell94 · 13/03/2020 07:30

Just checked mine, I had been meaning to look out for it but completely forgot! Went from 62 at around ovulation to 70 now, BFP 6 days ago Smile my resting has never been this high x

Heart rate back up to 67 today at 10dpo but sore lower back and slight cramping as well as brown spotting when I wipe, so think I'm out again this month, although AF isn't due until Tuesday. Getting really frustrated with this whole process now. Not sure what else I can do 😭
Ever since my misscarriage (had 3 periods since then) I've not had any symptoms of PMS. Before the misscarriage I could tell you down to the hour when I was due on. Now I don't get sore boobs, sore head, Spots, mood swings and tiredness. You'd think that would be a good thing but it's not as it gets my hopes up thinking I'm pregnant 😔

Hi
Hoping I can join in. Never heard of the resting HR thing before but saw this last night so looked at mine. I’m on day 9 of 2ww

Resting HR was in the 50s last year (fitter!) and I forgot to charge Fitbit this month so there are missing days.

Resting HR now dropping Sad

Alicespring · 16/03/2020 13:47

@NamechangeTTC

Mine too....AF arrived this morning, it's annoying isn't it 😔

NamechangeTTC · 16/03/2020 13:59

@alicespring I’m confused cause I’m spotting but I’m 11dpo and not due on.

Alicespring · 16/03/2020 16:14

@NamechangeTTC I started spotting at 9dpo, but my periods haven't been right since the misscarriage. Maybe you're having implantation spotting? Your HR can drop then too!

So an update guys.

I was doubled over in the most pain I've ever had in my life and passed a 3inch piece of grey tissue. Pain stopped almost immediately after.
Called nhs24 who think it's either retained tissue or I've had a missed miscarriage.
So that explains why my AF has been totally out of whack the last wee while. Not even sure they were periods after all, but RHR data would suggest they were so who knows, I am thoroughly confused. Have some scans/various tests hopefully tomorrow at the EPU. Would love for this nightmare to be over so I can properly start TTC.

Hope you’re ok @Alicespring

I’ve still got spotting but resting HR and BBT have dropped Sad

Not really sure what’s going on now

Alicespring · 10/04/2020 14:44

Hi guys! Just wondering how we all are?! Any more bfp?!
Honestly thought this was my month cos my rhr basically flatlined for 6 days but it's dropped two today. Gutted 😭

Hi everyone - been following this with interest since the start but not contributed before.

Thought I'd share this cycle's chart to show my rhr is following the same pattern too. The lowest two data points on my chart is my two day period end of March at 62 RHR and the highest peak at 72 is my ovulation (confirmed via OPK). I'm 5DPO now and not sure what to look out for at this stage? I think the dip and peak between yday and today is just due to me having some wine last night btw!

HighlandMam1 · 10/04/2020 15:11

I'm too nervous to test! I can't handle another BPN. My rhr is up, AF 2 days later and I'm just sat waiting for AF to appear as I've convinced myself I'm more stressed this month and that's why it's out 🙈 i normally have a resting heart rate of 68 and I ovulated on the 29th March.

HighlandMam1 · 10/04/2020 15:12

I meant to add this in my previous post!

Oh man I've just noticed all my errors in previous post 🙈 I wish I could edit my post. So let's try again so it makes more sense.

I'm too nervous to test! I can't handle another BFN. My rhr is up, AF is 2 days late and I'm just sat waiting for AF to appear as I've convinced myself I'm more stressed this month and that's why it's out 🙈 i normally have a resting heart rate of 68 and I ovulated on the 29th March

@HighlandMam1
Your chart does look really good tho! That's steep rise would potentially indicate BFP and since you're already late! I know what you mean about being too nervous to test, it's brutal!

@Juno231 I don't think you posted your chart?
