First month of ttc

Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

@abby25 nothing like replacing something that's stressful with something else that's stressful 😂 decorating sounds exciting though!

I was way out on my cycles so I actually have a 24 day cycle and think I ovulate around day 10/11 which was thurs/Friday. Had EWCM on Thursday but Husband was away Friday morn for the weekend so only managed to DTD on weds and Thursday, so don't think I'm in with much luck.

No idea what a shorter cycle means for fertility either, will it be harder to conceive... god knows!

I feel so confused. My dp and I had sex around the time of ovulation. Everyday before the day of, according to my tracker app. And now I’m 5 days away from AF and have had a few occasions of a metallic taste in my mouth.. had to stop drinking my hot drinks as it tasted so bad. So I decided to do a early detection test which was negative. But will try again in the morning as I took the first one this afternoon. Also my breast feel quite sore and just heavy. But I don’t know if I am overthinking it and imagining this as I want it to result in a positive test. Hufff.

I use the clear blue tests and it tells you when to start testing depending on how long your cycle is. I had a withdrawal bleed 28 days after I came off the pill and then 32 days after. I didn’t start using ovulation tests until I had my first period, I also use the Ovia app too.

Has anyone else been experiencing nipple pain in their tww? X

@1987Nic I always get boob pain before AF but that's just my normal pms. I've heard nipple pain is the commonest early pregnant symptom though! Do you have it? 😀

@primrose2020 shorter cycles are better mean you ovulate like 3 times more in a year then people with 32 day cycles (like me) Haha bf has been called into work 😥 not going to get round to it tonight I think I'm going to miss it even if I manage to dtd tomorrow and Thursday I'm not going to have much luck with doing it twice 😫 xxx

@Pink15 I don’t usually get nipple pain however did get the worst pain when I came off the pill. When does your boob pain usually start? My boobs look really full and I keep getting nipple pain, it’s hard to not think I could be pregnant when I keep getting symptoms ha.

@1987Nic that sounds promising!! 🤞I always get sore boobs about 4 days before my period not really nipple pain though. Apparently it's from the progesterone.

I was kinda constipated today and thought I saw a super faint line on a test when I held it up to my phone light but I relooked when I got home and it's disappeared - probably an evap line. Will test Again tomorrow xx

Would be nice if it was a good sign. I’m actually getting really scared about this Coronavirus and trying for a baby at the same time. Lots of good luck for your test tomorrow, I’m trying so hard to wait until af is due. xx

I couldn't get a phot yesterday but is a bit clearer today

I just took the early detection test. And the result looks exactly the same as your test. A faint positive.

@1987Nic I'm not scared of Covid-19. But I am supposed to go on holiday to Cyprus on the 22nd of April. I found out yesterday they are isolating people from UK so I don't think I'll be able to go. This stress isn't helping ttc at all

@Sitchervice I’m also due to go on holiday in the first week of April to the Canary Islands so I’m a bit worried about that.

I think we can get it just as much in Uk as abroad. I'm not concerned about it for myself but they don't know effect on the babies yet!

@pink15 I'm pretty sure they've said it's only older people it effects. But either way I've hear that cyprus are isolating UK citizens now :( so no good for my holiday. I guess I can relax now though I know what's happening

@Pink15 Yeh I do agree that anyone could catch it in the UK just as much. I’ve got health conditions so the thought of being away from home scares me.

So tempted to take a test today but it’s only 7dpo and CD 24, my boobs are huge ha.

So confusex! Didn't hit peak fertility this month and still not on my period (app says was due around 4th) I do have strange cycles but really concerned now and feel like I will never get pregnant

Congratulations everyone with their BFP!!! I'm on day 14 today and not having any ovulation symptoms kind of wish I got sticks now 🤣🤣 xxx

You might still have time to buy some abby25 ovulation sticks, I had my peak on CD17.

@1987Nic. Do you mind me asking how long your cycles are? I have 34 day cycles so trying to work out roughly when il ovulate. I think it will be Sunday or Monday!
