Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

Aw that’s so kind of you to share. Congratulations Smile x

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 21:12

@1987Nic yes can't wait to have my hair done!! Apparently highlights are safer than dye in first 12 weeks as less absorbed into body .... can you tell how much I've been googling?! 😂
Ah exciting! Are you going anywhere nice?

1987Nic · 08/03/2020 21:20

You can keep me up to date with what to do and what not to do ha. I’m actually debating dying my hair lighter but thinking about the price every month especially when saving. We are going to the Canary Islands with my boyfriends family.

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 21:24

@1987Nic ah sounds so lovely and relaxing!! Maybe if you don't conceive this month you'll be more relaxed to do it next month after a nice holiday ☀️ would you tell your boyfriends family on the holiday if you were pregnant this month? (it's so exciting to think about isn't it) x

1987Nic · 08/03/2020 21:30

My fertile week will be when we are away so it might work out well. Super exciting, I would be telling my mam straight away so if my boyfriend wanted to tell his family I would be fine with that. It’s strange because I wouldn’t mind family knowing but wouldn’t want people to be super excited until 12 week check. Would you tell your family early?

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 21:37

@1987Nic might work out well then!
Yes I'd defo tell my parents immediately - my Mum is the only one who knows we're actually trying and I've been keeping her updated 😂 so wouldn't be able to not tell her. Same with you about my husband - if I'm telling mine he can tell his if he wants but I wouldn't tell anyone else until 12 weeks! I've had a few friends of friends with sad stories before the 12 week mark recently :(

TF1992 · 08/03/2020 22:11

Hi ladies, can I join in please? Planning to start TTC baby number 1 at the end of this month. I'm 28, H2B is 30 and we're getting married in June. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

Jessmary94 · 08/03/2020 22:22

Hey (:
Yes this is our first baby, I'm 25 and Oh is 26.
I have been pregnant before but was advised to terminate at 14 weeks due to the baby growing with no brain. So as exciting as this is for me it's also very scary at the same time x

1987Nic · 09/03/2020 17:58

@Pink15 Sounds like me and my mam Smile. Sorry to hear about your friends. Another day of symptom spotting for me, still have a heavy feeling. Did have cold and flu symptoms when I woke up a few days after ovulation but they have gone.

1987Nic · 09/03/2020 18:01

@TF1992 Oh that’s super exciting 😀 a wedding and a baby ❤️

1987Nic · 09/03/2020 18:04

@Jessmary94 Sorry to hear that, I can see why you would feel worried but also very excited.

TF1992 · 09/03/2020 18:15

Thanks 😊 I know it might sound daft but we thought it might take the pressure off slightly if we started trying before the wedding. I have a large, very close family and (whilst I love them to bits) I know that there’ll be a lot of baby talk after the wedding so we wanted to enjoy it before people start asking questions 😂

Pink15 · 09/03/2020 18:26

@1987Nic my husband actually got a bit upset the other day as he thought I was telling my mum too much - but so tried to explain it's difficult having no one else to talk to and told him girls chat is different😂
I've still got no symptoms ... :( is the heaviness a new thing? If so could be a sign!

@TF1992 my friend did this before her wedding! And at least if you're not pregnant you can look at the positives of no nausea and can drink on the day 🍷👍🏼

lsmbx · 09/03/2020 18:32

My first month too :) AF due 5th April, been tracking cycles since coming off pill in October and I am bang on 40 days, so my cycles feel like they go on forever! Sending baby dust to all of you

1987Nic · 09/03/2020 18:37

@Pink15 Totally agree with girls chat, a few of my friends know that we are trying but my mam definitely knows the most. Yeh heaviness feeling is new, still very early days.

Sitchervice · 09/03/2020 19:01

So it turns out I'm currently not ovulating dispite having a period. My doctor thinks it's down to pill and unlikely to be POC due to having regular period before and no issues when they Did an op in history. I still worry though and it's stressful

abby25 · 10/03/2020 03:47

@slitchervice how many days has it been since your first day of period ... surely of you've had a period it means you have been ovulating? Have you been using opks? I havent used my sticks this month just doing it every other day trying to be more chilled....its so hard to be patient but will happen eventually just have to try and forget about it and not stress xxx

Sitchervice · 10/03/2020 07:01

@abby25 my very first was in December. Ive had six "periods" since then. Sticks come up with nothing

Sitchervice · 10/03/2020 07:03

@abby25 not forgetting my 40 week cycle last cycle :/

primrose2020 · 10/03/2020 07:35

@Sitchervice how frustrating. Has the docs said when you're likely to start ovulating again?

@abby25 how are you doing this cycle? I've yet to pee on any kind of stick and feel good for it! Much more chilled this month xxx

Sitchervice · 10/03/2020 08:28

@primrose2020 I don't think doctors can ever tell you when you'll ovulate. She couldn't even tell me if I will ever ovulate again.

Littlepeas2 · 10/03/2020 09:46

@Sitchervice oh that’s so frustrating!! So what was their advice for you from now on?

@primrose2020 @abby25 what cycle days are you on girls? I’m entering my FW tomorrow. Just trying to remain chilled about it!

Sitchervice · 10/03/2020 10:07

@Littlepeas2 wait another 3 months

abby25 · 10/03/2020 16:34

@primrose2020 havent used any stick this month being a lot more chilled tbh javent got time to even think about it I'm decorating our room and God it's so stressful 🤣🤣🤣 got plasterer round next week going to be atleast 3 weeks until it's all done 😫but atleast I'm busy thinking about that and not about doing another pregnancy test every day Haha we had sex last night and going to squeeze in sex tomorrow night and Thursday night as I think I'm around my ovulation time soon xxx
