First month of ttc

Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

My cycle was 32 days this month, it was my first proper period so hopefully it stays similar If I have any more periods.

What time is everyone testing with the sticks morning or evening. I'm still testing dispite doctor saying I probably am not ovulating as there's still hope but when's the best time?

Day 45 without AF, starting to worry about how much I will bleed when it comes....

How’s everyone doing today?, I’m cd 25 today, really don’t know how I’m going to hold off testing until Monday ha.

@1987Nic all good here how about you? I don't know how I'll feel when I'm in your position, I'm having to stop myself testing even though I'm STILL waiting for my first post pill AF so not even sure I've started ovulating yet 😂 nearing 50 days!

I’m good, still got boob pain today, I cuddled my friend today and they were so sore just from that. I’d like to tell you that you’ll be calm but I was absolutely fine until I knew I had started to ovulated and then I became obsessed ha. I bet waiting 50 days isn’t easy either, did you have periods when you were on the pill?

@1987Nic well that sounds like it could be good news, fingers crossed!! Yeah I did, I've always had a niggle in my mind that there could be something wrong as I used to forget my pill a lot, sometimes for 4 days in a row and somehow never been pregnant. But I'm sure everyone has these worries right?!

I hope so but trying to play it cool ha. Yeh there’s definitely lots of people that do that, what pill were you on? I went a whole 10 years without getting any bleed so that was quite worrying too. I hope af turns up very soon for you.

Hey girls how u all doing? I only managed to do it once in my fertile week predicted on my flo app so I'm pretty sure I'm out this month unless I'm super lucky (which I'm not) haha going to take a few days off with OH next month so fingers crossed we get round to it 🤣 and I'm definitely using opks again next month think its even more stressful not knowing when its happening xxx

Hey 😊 negative test yesterday, one of the early tests, period due today 👎🏻 Altho I’m so bloody irregular, who really knows?! 😂 was quite disappointed, but it’s the first month so I was probably being too optimistic. Next month 🤞🏻

Aah thank you 😊 super disappointing, even tho I’d kept telling myself it probably wouldn’t happen straight away and not to get my hopes up... you always do anyway don’t you? 😂

Really feel like this at the moment, I’ve totally got my hopes up and felt like I’ve had a few symptoms. Now I feel like I’m losing hope towards next week when af is due.

I know what you mean @1987Nic you pick up on all the tiny things and add them together and convince yourself 🤦🏼‍♀️ it is hard not to do that tho.

It’s super hard, I’ve been in such pain with nipples and my boobs have definitely got fuller, it’s hard not to get excited when you can see things changing, I’ve never got these symptoms in the past. Hopefully we will both get a BFP very soon.

Thank you, I’m trying my best to not get too carried away with being excited as it’s still very early. Yeh it’s my first baby.

@1987Nic yes it's exciting to find other people's outcomes too!! So happy for you 😃 (there is also a thread called November babies in the pregnancy section if u wanna join). But I'm doing okay just feeling more PMS than my normal PMS haha really sore boobs but also feel lumpy though and defo have grown already, bloated and a bit irritable. But I've missed my period now 👍🏼 midwife is gonna call me tomorrow to book booking appt xx

So today started by taking a cheap test...coil has been removed for just over a month. Came up mega faint! So took a FRER. Congratulations to you @1987Nic great news for you! November babies!!! I'm a bit confused as to when my expected date will be as didnt have a period on the coil and only had a tiny bleed on it being removed!

@Pink15 Thank you, it makes me super excited to find out when people get BFP. Bet it makes it all more real when you’re feeling lots of symptoms. Aw lovely that you are arranging your booking appt. Do you have an idea of your due date? I’ll definitely join the November group once I’m passed my expected AF day on Friday, will be lovely to have some support. x
