Anyone else in the dreaded TWW? I think I'm around 5/6 dpo...not wanting to look at every symptom in a few days as don't want to get disappointed but i know it'll be so hard!
Wishing this week would hurry, due around 4th Feb. Anyone else around the same time as me?

I think I’m in the tww now. Getting very crampy but trying not too think about every symptom also

YellowFlower22 · 27/01/2020 18:32

Do you know roughly how many DPO you are? Anxious time isn't it but my minds played tricks on my before I don't want to fall for it again!

I’m due on period 4 Feb so will join you!!! I am not holding out much hope though as I’m 41 (TTC 2nd baby)

YellowFlower22 · 27/01/2020 18:41

Hi @burntpinky! Cycle buds Smile let's hope we get the news we want this month. it's such a hard time but we have to keep positive. This is my 2nd cycle this year, miscarriage at 12 weeks last summer so was very nervous to start to try again and only think the worst... but I want it very badly at the same time
Let me know in a few days if you are feeling any symptoms!

OP posts:
SkyBlue20 · 27/01/2020 18:44

I’ll join! I’m pretty sure I ovulated on the 21st as had cramping on my right side, so am 6DPO if that’s right (though it could be slightly more as had my period 3-5 Jan). Ovia puts my next AF as 31st but I think it might be slightly out so I’m going to give it until the 4th (two weeks post-ovulation) and see what’s what then. I’m recently off the pill so not too sure how long my cycles are and obviously they could be all over the place so am trying to not get too hung up on dates or possible symptoms but it’s hard! At least if AF does arrive, I’ll have more of an idea of cycle lengths - small consolation!

burntpinky · 27/01/2020 20:43

@YellowFlower22 so sorry to hear about your miscarriage and sending love and hugs. If it helps (I never know if it does), I had a missed miscarriage at 9.5 weeks before conceiving my DC so do hold on to hope. I too was nervous so really feel for you. Let’s hope we get some positive news and will def report back on symptoms if there are any! My boobs are sore today but I reckon I only ovulated Thursday, Wednesday at the earliest so I think it is def not pregnancy symptoms!!!

skh197 · 27/01/2020 20:52

@YellowFlower22 I’ll join you too! About 7-8 DPO and period due about the 4th also. Feeling queasy since yesterday, exhausted and very emotional / tearful, but desperately trying not to second guess any symptoms - so hard!! Am TTC first baby at age 40 so I know my chances aren’t amazing, but trying to stay positive! Let’s hope for some happy outcomes all round! Smile

YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 08:09

@SkyBlue20 your dates sound about the same as mine, I think I ovulated around the 21st 1 day before my app predicted but who knows...I started with ovulation strips but stopped and just wanted to try without for one more month ensuring we had sex enough!
Fingers crossed for you, but as you also say good to understand and get to a routine so you can understand your cycle better Smile
You have any symptoms yet?

OP posts:
YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 08:13

@burntpinky thank you, I'm sorry to hear of yours also. You're right though you have to stay positive!
How are you feeling today? Boobs still sore?
I feel like mine are sensitive but trying not to think about it too much. Also had a look more cm than usual (or at least I think!)

OP posts:
YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 08:16

@skh197 hello! Let's all hope this week goes speedy for us! Your symptoms sound positive, it can be so difficult can't it, I swear my mind plays tricks on me. It's nice to talk on here about possible symptoms I feel my other half doesn't understand how anxious it can be!

OP posts:
burntpinky · 28/01/2020 08:38

@YellowFlower22 thank you. They seem ok today so maybe it was just being boulder holstered yesterday which did it 😂

A bit constipated last couple days but I think I always give myself symptoms in the TWW so trying to ignore!!!

Currently feeling very in limbo, we want to move house but won’t put on market in case we get pregnant as we need to sell ours then rent so we can pounce on right house and don’t want to be homeless with a newborn. Also no idea whether to book holidays or not. First world problems I know

SkyBlue20 · 28/01/2020 08:41

@YellowFlower22 I had THE most annoying nipples for a couple of days, really tingly and sore to the point where I couldn’t wear a bra but that’s eased off now and they only hurt when I touch them, so not sure if that’s a symptom or just another lovely new thing to experience pre-AF now I’m not on the pill 🙈 I was also a moody cow the other day but think that could just be because my OH was really annoying me and I was stressed out. I don’t think it’s our month but keep going through phases where I’m like... maybe? 🤷🏻‍♀️ How about you, any symptoms?

skh197 · 28/01/2020 10:38

@burntpinky I know what you mean about the feeling in limbo thing! We have an extended family wedding in Russia in July which we are invited to, I keep putting off making any firm decision to go as I keep thinking if I’m pregnant by then I might not want to fly (although I know it would still be safe to)! Keep trying to tell myself I just need to get on with life as normal in the meantime, but it’s all-consuming isn’t it?! Hmm

skh197 · 28/01/2020 10:46

@YellowFlower22 yes so nice to talk on here, I don’t make too much of a big deal about my symptoms with OH as I don’t want him to think I’m turning into a basket case! He’s very much if it happens it happens and is very chilled about things and I don’t want to pile the pressure on him. Feeling bloated and a little crampy this morning so I’m still more believing it’s AF symptoms, but only time will tell!
So sorry to hear of your miscarriage last year, I can’t even imagine how awful that must be, but glad you are trying again. Do you have any children already or are you trying for your first?x

Sjp17 · 28/01/2020 10:59

Hey ladies! I'm only 2 dpo so I'll be testing 9th Feb. if I get real crazy maybe the 7th. I'm already feeling crampy and been googling like no end and I'm only 2 days in haha! I am however feeling super positive this cycle and I just have a good feeling! 3rd cycle TTC #2. Still breastfeeding #1

Ellsbells112 · 28/01/2020 11:13

Hey girls can I join please??
@Sjp17 hey! I'm a day behind you so I'll be testing 10th feb :)

Cycle 6 Ttc number 2 (my first child is 8 already!!) haha and I'm 29 years old :)

Hard not to get stressed when there shouldn't be any reason as to why it hasn't happened yet, my ovaries are fine I have a bang on 29 day cycle and I ovulate cd15 like clockwork. My OH hasn't been tested though and my son is from a previous relationship. Fingers crossed February is our month xx

MillieGrace1 · 28/01/2020 12:11

Hi I'm about 8 DPO and due 4th of Feb so I'll join you!
Been trying for my first baby since October and no luck yet, so I'm finding it hard not to get stressed. I usually think I have loads of symptoms during the TWW and then get disappointed, but this month I haven't noticed any so maybe I'll surprise myself!

burntpinky · 28/01/2020 12:40

@skh197 it really is all consuming. We started trying 4 months ago and I’ve been driving myself potty!!! I get you re the wedding, even though you’d be ok to fly in July (we’ve a trip booked then but it’s only 3 days) whether you’d want to pregnant is another thing! It’s so hard to live normally whilst TTC!

I see you’re 40 and trying for first. I conceived my first D.C. at 39 so get how you’re feeling. Are you taking ubiquinol? God knows whether it works but I took that, baby aspirin, pregnacare and had acupuncture. Not done the acupuncture yet this time but will if no luck this month.

Fingers crossed for us all!

YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 13:23

@burntpinky haha that made me laugh, who know what tomorrow may bring though...
Mine feel weird almost like butterflies in my boobs. I know how stupid that sounds but tingly like if that makes sense.

Same here about the house too! We know we will have to move to a bigger place but not sure what to do first as wanted to at least start trying. Also going on an all inclusive in April so I've told myself if this isn't my month then I'm holding off until then to make the most of the drink there!

OP posts:
YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 13:27

@skh197 yeah OH's...they just don't get it do they! I keep quiet now but at the same time I want him to be involved but if I told him everything I think he could think I'm crazy Blush
Keep positive maybe the cramps could be early implantation or something going on?!
No children for me at the moment. I'm 33 and felt like the time was right. I think when you're younger you feel it will happen all so easily!

OP posts:
YellowFlower22 · 28/01/2020 13:29

@SkyBlue20 sounds promising, wishing us all lots of luck for this cycle! No massive symptoms for me yet...just some tingly feelings in my boobs. Trying not to think about it as don't want it to get into my head. Easier said than done!

Strawbs20 · 28/01/2020 14:20

Also due my period 4th Feb!!🙋‍♀️ 🤞 Good luck!

SkyBlue20 · 28/01/2020 19:00

I can sympathise with the travel/wedding thing, @burntpinky - I’m meant to be a bridesmaid at a destination wedding later in the Summer and although I know I’ll be ok to fly (and I will go) should it happen for me, it makes me nervous somehow!

@YellowFlower22 I feel you with trying to not think about it - I’m mostly ok but every now and then (like right now) I really overthink it. TMI but I am so full of gas and have heart burn which rumour has it can also be an early symptom...but I also have food intolerances so if I’ve just eaten something I shouldn’t then that could be causing it (though I don’t think I have). I’m now anywhere between 7 and 9 DPO (I think 7 based on what I think we’re ovulation pains, app says 9 but based on the average cycle which I don’t know that I have), still a while to go!

Hello to everyone that’s joined, wishing everybody so much luck! 🤞🏼

skh197 · 28/01/2020 21:03

@MillieGrace1 here’s hoping for you this month then! I actually prefer the months I don’t get any symptoms...I was doing fine this month until Sunday when I started feeling nauseous, then all hell broke loose in my brain!!x
