Anyone else in the dreaded TWW? I think I'm around 5/6 dpo...not wanting to look at every symptom in a few days as don't want to get disappointed but i know it'll be so hard!
Wishing this week would hurry, due around 4th Feb. Anyone else around the same time as me?

Sorry to hear that @burnt pinky. Really hope next cycle is the one that works for you. Xx

burntpinky · 02/02/2020 07:44

Thank you all so much for your kind words. It is really lovely to be able to come on here for support about something can’t really talk to friends about!

I just typed this message then went back to see if could reply to everyone individually but because the responses are across two pages since I last was on here, I can’t without losing my message!!! So sorry about that!

How is everyone?! Any BFP’s?! Please please be some BFPs for some of you!!!

I think I may actually have had a miscarriage but am not sure. So i started bleeding early obvs (day 24) but this morning I was in bathroom and a massive thing fell out of me, looked like a clot the size of a 50p (I took a photo but probs too horrid to share) so wondering if it really is a clot or a loss. Think am going to see doctor tomorrow and show them picture to see what they think. And my bleeding has now completely stopped.

KE2017 · 02/02/2020 08:28

I'm so sorry things haven't worked for you this time @burntpinky. I hope the doctor can shed a little light on what has happened for you. Really hope the next cycle works for you. Xx

SkyBlue20 · 02/02/2020 09:58

Big hugs, @burntpinky, hope the doctor can help advise. Xx

burntpinky · 02/02/2020 10:00

Thanks ladies. Just bought myself a pack of 5 M&S cookies (you know the ones I mean!) to munch on and try to make the day a bit better x

Sjp17 · 02/02/2020 10:04

@SkyBlue20 our boy will be 1 in two weeks. I always wanted them close together and wanted to get cracking ASAP incase it took a few cycles and because I'm still breastfeeding I knew it may take a little longer, we were the super lucky kind last time that fell pregnant first cycle TTC and I sure hope you are too! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
6 more days till test! Can't wait! I'm so sure this is our month!

Sjp17 · 02/02/2020 10:06

@RR369 have you done accupuncture long and are you doing it to assist with cycles/fertility?

Sorry I jumped in a bit late and missed some info, this is my first cycle doing accupuncture and decided to do it to assist with fertility and regulating my irregular cycles as I'm still breastfeeding and really don't want to stop just yet, so 1st cycle doing accu but 3rd cycle ttc, feels like a lot longer with 37 day cycles, I ovulated much earlier this month so on track for a 32 day cycle which was my normal pre baby.

SkyBlue20 · 02/02/2020 10:25

@burntpinky I LOVE M&S cookies, which flavour have you gone for?

@Sjp17 Aww that’ll be a nice age difference for them - my husband and his bro are just over two years apart and are thick as thieves!

Still cramps but no AF here 🤷🏻‍♀️ 12DPO, CD31 now. Think we’re going to wait until mid-week to test if she still hasn’t arrived - I really don’t want to test early then have a chemical, it would devastate me I think. Also, I’ve done a lot of reading that says you should wait until at least three weeks after you think you ovulated if you don’t know when AF is due, Tuesday will be two weeks, so might give it a few more days after that if I can. Also convincing myself that AF is going to arrive so just waiting for her! 🙈

burntpinky · 02/02/2020 10:30

@Skyblue20 - the milk choc chip!!! I’ve already shovelled down 1 and debating another. Plus some hazelnut and fig loaf to go with the red wine and onion soup (tinned, not home made!) we are having for lunch

Sjp17 · 02/02/2020 10:34

@SkyBlue20 yeah my closest sibling brother is just less than 2 years younger it was such a lovely age gap growing up and now!

Oh you're so close to finding out! I think a bfp is coming your way on Wednesday!

It was so nice with my son I tested day after af due and positive, the last couple of cycles I've taken tests from way to early and every second day, so many bfns and I'm sure they broke my heart more than when af actually arrived.

Praying no more bfns here 🙏🏻

YellowFlower22 · 02/02/2020 10:47

@SkyBlue20 that all sounds amazing! 😋

@SkyBlue20 you're more patient than I am, did another test this morning at 12dpo and negative again 👎🏻

@YellowFlower22 - so sorry for BFN today. Still have everything crossed for you!

SkyBlue20 · 02/02/2020 11:25

@burntpinky Ooh I polished off the remnants of a packet of them last night, they’re SO good! Sounds like a great day of culinary treats today, exactly what are Sundays are for!

@YellowFlower22 It’s still not a definite no, so fingers firmly crossed for you! We’re on the same DPO, so positive vibes for us both! When will you next test?

YellowFlower22 · 02/02/2020 11:42

@SkyBlue20 think it's best for me to leave it now, just make myself upset..that was the last of my cheap internet strips thankfully. I think in my head I wanted an answer either way over the weekend to deal with the bfn and not have to go into work. I'll see how I feel come weds and test either then or Thursday. How is everyone feeling?
May go for a nice walk this afternoon, sick of thinking it over too much!

@YellowFlower22 - just hugs xxx

SkyBlue20 · 02/02/2020 12:28

Sounds wise, @YellowFlower22. Hope the walk helps and sending love xx

RR369 · 02/02/2020 17:45

@Sjp17 I'm doing acupuncture since September. I took Vitex to help settle my hormones after miscarriage but after a few months I had a really weird 11 day cycle so stopped it, started it again and then a couple of months later a similar weird cycle so completely off it now- I think it did more harm than good. I hoped that acupuncture would settle things better and so far so good. I also started temping with an Ava bracelet in September and that's been great for seeing my hormonal patterns.

RR369 · 02/02/2020 17:46

@YellowFlower22 hope the walk helps Have you tried a FRER, ICs may not be sensitive enough before AF is due 🤞

RR369 · 02/02/2020 17:49

@SkyBlue20 sounds very promising, fingers crossed for you. I'm really impressed with your willpower, hoping to do the same or similar myself but don't know if I'll last!!! I'll see how my temperature pattern goes

RR369 · 02/02/2020 21:10

www.avawomen.com/avaworld/implantation-calculator-when-did-it-happen/
I read this today and thought some of you might find it interesting. Ava articles are always based in science and research so no old wives tales 😂 brought me back down to Earth though, my symptom spotting is likely all progesterone based at this stage and nothing to do with potential pregnancy!!!

YellowFlower22 · 02/02/2020 22:17

@RR369 thank you, an interesting read !

@RR369 that’s definitely interesting, thank you. Probably explains a lot of my ‘symptoms’ too!!
