TWW Let's keep put minds preoccupied!

Anyone else in the dreaded TWW? I think I'm around 5/6 dpo...not wanting to look at every symptom in a few days as don't want to get disappointed but i know it'll be so hard!
Wishing this week would hurry, due around 4th Feb. Anyone else around the same time as me?

@burntpinky I feel you. I’m also not due until 4th and feeling really fed up of all the ‘apparent’ symptoms and the not knowing! I’m really not wanting to see that BFN so I think I’m going to wait until about the 8th before testing, assuming AF hasn’t arrived by then!

@SkyBlue20 @YellowFlower22 still feeling really nauseous, had a very early night (for me anyway) and woke up feeling so rough that I’m only now about to head into work. Am also feeling pretty tearful and emotional, but that may be down to the stress and waiting rather than anything else!!

I am ravenously hungry but feel sick also. I’m also wanting savoury food when I’m a sweet tooth girl, but I wonder if it is psychosomatic!!!

Well I'm defo out, cramp and AF arrived shortly after work tonight after the spotting this morning 😭 good luck everyone else really hope you all get your bfp! 🤞❤️

Everyone else, how’re you doing? I’m just leaving a work event, managed to get away with just one small glass of wine (would rather have had none but people would have noticed) and am now exhausted, straight home and to bed! Been very crampy today so have convinced myself AF is on her way - app says I’m due tomorrow but I’m not really sure as don’t know cycle length. Will see where I’m at by Tuesday then maybe rest of nothing but it’s so hard when I don’t know when to expect my period!

That should have said ‘test if nothing’ not ‘rest of nothing’ 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, told husband we were coming up to testing time if AF doesn’t arrive and he was like ‘but you’ve not had any symptoms, you’ve not been throwing up, don’t you only test if you’re throwing up?!’ Bless him, they’re so unaware, aren’t they?! He did later admit he’s probably got all of his knowledge from films and TV shows and that’s about it 😂

I'm feeling ok today...never wanted to feel sick so much! I know I'll deeply regret saying that 😂

I understand wanting to feel sick. Unfortunately it doesn't even help at the moment. I wish it did, I was sick last night. But I don't know if it is something I ate, or perhaps a bug.

And now I am driving myself crazy with symptom spotting and hope. And I'm very glad to see I'm not alone in doing that. Goodluck with waiting. I have six days left to wait.

@YellowFlower22 To be honest, I think I’m a bit scared to test - I’d rather leave it longer and not run the risk of a false negative, if that makes sense? I also don’t feel like I’ve given it enough time for AF to arrive. I think Tuesday will be two weeks since ovulation so am earmarking that as the day to test as I don’t really know when AF would be due...though my app says to test Sunday, which is tempting. Will see how I feel and speak to husband too. Sunday is tempting as won’t have to rush off to work afterwards, which I would rather not do whatever the result!

@SkyBlue20 eased off a little bit for now thanks, the nausea seems to come and go in waves, but like you I’m really tired. Makes me chuckle how clueless OH’s can be, but then I have to remind myself that I was actually a lot more clueless than I realised until we actually started trying 😅

@ViolaTricolora you’re most definitely not alone! I’ve been googling every little symptom for days, reading the same articles over and over - honestly sometimes I feel like a complete basket case!!
I’ve about 5 or 6 days to wait also, wishing you lots of luck!

@skh197 That’s very true, I had absolutely no idea what went in to this before we started trying, it’s been a huge learning curve!

Pretty convinced AF is on her way soon, cramps have amped up quite a lot. How horrible is that moment when you go to the toilet and expect to see she’s arrived?! Hate it!

Hi everyone, hoping I can join. I'm 5/6 DPO, AF due next Friday or Saturday. TTC #2 but just turned 44 so not too hopeful. Had DD three years ago, MC at 10 weeks last April.

@skh197 - I was a total with to DH last night and very down and tired. Could be pg but could equally be pmt!!! Similarly exhausted today and cannot stop ramming food down my gullet!!!
