Anyone else in the dreaded TWW? I think I'm around 5/6 dpo...not wanting to look at every symptom in a few days as don't want to get disappointed but i know it'll be so hard!
Wishing this week would hurry, due around 4th Feb. Anyone else around the same time as me?

@RR369 definitely an interesting read. I was just trying to work out where I fit on there as I had a FET so it's not a natural cycle for me. Hmm

SkyBlue20 · 03/02/2020 08:42

Morning all! How’re we doing?

13DPO here and still no AF. Cramps have eased off but I still keep expecting her, she’s going to get me when I least expect it, I’m sure 🙈

YellowFlower22 · 03/02/2020 09:02

@SkyBlue20 morning, no need from me.
No symptoms either really!
I'm trying to stay optimistic but it at the same time realistic that AF is prob coming.
Fingers crossed for us both though!

morning all.

Fingers crossed for you @YellowFlower22 and @SkyBlue20!

I have docs appointment at 340 so hoping they can tell me whether it was a MC or not, as I'd rather just know, because if it isn't then I also need to know if you know what I mean!

Don't start work until later on mondays so have been playing with my DC this morning which has really cheered me up. He was in his pen and I went upstairs for a quick shower, came back down and he had thrown pretty much all his toys out of the pen! Feeling a lot better than yesterday after a really good night's sleep and still have 1 M&S cookie left which am going to have with a cuppa in a minute!

Fingers crossed for everyone in next few days, hope to see some BFP's and let's try and stay in touch/follow each others stories, whether on this thread or another!

burntpinky · 03/02/2020 09:32

am also taking control (I tend to do this after shit happens) and have booked in for acupuncture on thursday and we are going to see a house on wednesday. Not going to let TTC control my life (I say this week anyway) but going to do everything possible to help it along so will ask doc to refer me too.

Had acupuncture with DC so going back to same lady and it's literally next door to my office which makes life easier!!

YellowFlower22 · 03/02/2020 09:49

@burntpinky that sounds really good, I think it's important we don't let it get to us too badly. I know I do blame myself but it's just what it is.
Acupuncture sounds interesting I may look into that myself.
Looking for a new house may be a great thing also and give you something to look forward too,
It may also take your mind of the next cycle. I do always wonder how ppl try 'without trying' but that may help!
I'm going away to Greece soon so I am trying to go to focus on the gym and get my beach body on! 😂

Just also realised my OH is on a school trip this month for the week of 14th - 22nd 😱😫 prime week!

@RR369 sorry to hear about your Mc. Hope the accupuncture is good for you and 🤞🏼 for us this cycle!

There haven't been any bfps yet. Someone's gotta get them, all of us! Come on!!

SkyBlue20 · 03/02/2020 11:12

@YellowFlower22 No symptoms here either - cramping went pretty quickly this morning and I just feel normal now! Same optimistic but realistic feelings from me, too. Greece sounds amazing, I’m very jealous - could do with some sunshine!

@burntpinky Hope the docs appointment goes well and you get some answers! Love that you’re doing acupuncture and looking at houses etc, good to have some other focuses as this really can be all consuming, can’t it?!

Strawbs20 · 03/02/2020 14:59

@burntpinky so sorry to read this 😣 hope everything goes OK at the Dr's, good luck everyone else fingers crossed for some bfps for you all xxx

motherofdragons89 · 03/02/2020 15:21

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me jumping in! Please can I have a 2nd opinion on a test I’ve taken today? It wasn’t fmu, I just had the urge to test and now I’m more confused than ever 🙈 its cycle 5 of actively ttc number 2 (ovulation tests, pre-seed, etc!) number 1 was planned and I feel like I blinked and was pregnant, this time it’s taken a lot longer, so I think I’m imagining a 2nd line out of desperation!
Any 2nd opinions would be great, I’m only 9dpo, so I guess any line is good?! Seriously achey boobs today too! X

@motherofdragons89 welcome! I can definitely see something! Let us know how tomorrow's looks, wishing you lots of luck in that the line goes darker 😊

So doctor can’t say for sure if it was/wasn’t but thinks not as test negative so more likely to be clotting (which is good).

She’s doing another full boood work up and a 21 day progesterone so have to wait until 21st for those to be done. Once she has results (by 28th) she will refer me and said that where we are referrals aren’t taking too long. So all positive.

In meantime we will carry on trying. DH is not allowed out during fertile window 😂 and I will start acupuncture.

Also going to book self in for a massage next week

SkyBlue20 · 03/02/2020 16:50

@burntpinky Sounds like a productive appointment, glad things are being done for you and waits aren’t that long. And yes, keep your husband close during that key week 😂 Have that extra cookie now if you haven’t already!

SkyBlue20 · 03/02/2020 16:51

@motherofdragons89 I think I can see something on the third pic! Fingers crossed for you!

RR369 · 03/02/2020 18:25

@burntpinky sounds like the GP appointment went well, I think it helps when you feel like you have a plan. I definitely recommend acupuncture, hope you enjoy it, mine has reduced tension in my body that I didn't even know was there!
Greece sounds great @YellowFlower22 apparently vitamin D is really good for fertility 😎
I can see a line on the third photo too @motherofdragons89 hope it's stronger tomorrow 🤞
Anyone testing tomorrow??? I'm thinking maybe 11dpo(Wednesday) but can't decide whether it's better to wait for AF on Friday 🤷‍♀️

motherofdragons89 · 03/02/2020 18:43

Thank you for the replies! I thought I could see it most in the 1st photo, hoping it’s stronger on Wed! I won’t get to test tomorrow because it’s so manic here in the mornings when we’ve both got work, but will definitely be testing again on Wed when I’ll be 11dpo Smile thanks again! X

SkyBlue20 · 03/02/2020 18:59

@RR369 I’ll be 14dpo tomorrow so was planning then but we have a friend staying tonight so now it’ll either be Wed morning or Sat morning...I’m leaning towards Sat tbh so I don’t have to rush off to work and also gives it more time for AF to potentially arrive (though hopefully not!) So sounds like we’re on a similar testing schedule!

KE2017 · 03/02/2020 19:50

Sounds like it was a really useful doctors appointment you had @burntpinky. Fingers crossed things work out quickly for you.

I am so so so tempted to test. My FET was last Wednesday so it's still very early for me to be testing. My official test date is the 10th so I expect if I do test it will show a bfn either way at the moment. But still so so tempted to. I don't think that the fact I have about 10 tests in the cupboard is helping. That means I have at least 1 a day and a couple of spares before the 10th. 😬

skh197 · 03/02/2020 19:52

Evening all! Well I’m pretty sure I’m out for this month...just tested, admittedly on a very cheapo early response test, but it couldn’t have been more negative 😐 AF due tomorrow / weds but I reckon I’m already 14-15 DPO so I’m guessing at least something would’ve showed up on test by now. Trying to not feel too despondent but currently feeling like eating my own body weight in chocolate.

RR369 · 03/02/2020 20:12

@KE2017 are there any drugs in your system still that could give a false positive? If not, I don't think I could resist with 10 tests in the cupboard!!!
Hope AF stays away for you @skh197 and you just ovulated later than you thought 🤞enjoy the chocolate anyway xx
Hope AF stays away for you too @SkyBlue20 very excited for you! I've never tested before AF being late before and you're inspiring me to stick to that, thanks xx

burntpinky · 03/02/2020 20:13

@KE2017 - try to think of it as pissing on a fiver and it might make you hold off 😂

@skh197 sorry for the BFN but chocolate will def help. If anyone like salted caramel ice cream, Waitrose have the most amazing ones by Nuii - salted caramel and macadamia nut - we are having one a night at the moment

KE2017 · 03/02/2020 20:20

@skh197 fingers crossed that your dates just haven't quite matched up. Enjoy the chocolate.

@RR369 I don't think so on the drugs affecting it. Given that I will still be on the same dose of the same drugs on my official test date and they just do a simple urine dip test themselves.

@burntpinky I got some super cheapy tests of amazon that a relative recommended. (She is a midwife). She said if in doubt test twice but said these were pretty good.

TWW Let's keep put minds preoccupied!
RR369 · 03/02/2020 21:58

@KE2017 that's great about the drugs and those tests are the ones they used at my EPU so must be NHS approved. Do you know how sensitive they are? Keeping everything crossed for you if you decide to test xx

Sjp17 · 03/02/2020 22:33

I'm so excited for everyone. Sounds like there's some bfps on their way in the next few days. I'm hanging out till Friday (12 dpo) though is love to wait till sun af due not to come day 😂 I know I can't wait! Baby dust to all, come on BFPs 🤞🏼

Anyone charting bbt as well? I'm obsessively looking at my charts the last few days. 9 dpo today!
