TTC after miscarriage - end of January 2020 testing

I don’t think I’ve got everyone so please tag anyone else who is still in TWW/planning on testing from now - end of the month.

This is for when we run out of space on the other thread! Then from here we can move to the Feb group set up by @terribleimagination or hopefully a pregnancy thread 😊

On CD28 currently and did a test this morning - BFN. AF due CD33-34 so hopefully was just too early 🙈.

It’s mad to think that out of all the ladies on the last thread that were ttc after mc, there’s not many with their BFP yet! Can’t let it dishearten us though. It will happen.

I’ve been reading up and I think I’m ovulating late, so chances are there’s no point me testing at the end of Jan as it will be too early if I did. I’m CD 25 and had high/positive OPK readings the last 3 days so I’m hoping I’m ovulating today or tomorrow. So really can’t test until CD 40. It’s going to drag 😫

Loving all the coach trip chat. Probably the only reality tv I watch apart from I’m a celeb. Everyone at work is talking about Love Island but I don’t watch it

@MilsCookie AF is due next Friday, but I have short cycles so I'm only on CD20. That's based on a 27 day cycle, and mine have usually been shorter than that, but if I go by the app, I won't test too early ha ha, yeah right

I don't watch much reality TV - I'm more of a Netflix binge-watcher.

I was absolutely floored with my Pg last summer, and between horrendous pregnancy symptoms and the MC, I ended up off work for 6 weeks, most of which I could barely move out of bed. I watched the first 9 series of NCIS Los Angeles

I think there are still a few of us who aren't due to test until the end of the month.

Re 'Those Posters', I've been on other, long-running threads totally unrelated to ttc where we've had the same thing. I remember one popped up and a week later posted a picture of her supposedly newborn 6 week prem baby - she looked bigger than a full term baby, with such chubby cheeks there was no way she was prem! Poster disappeared after being called on it by another poster who was also a midwife. There's always one...

@Anny27 I've got sore boobs, and some uterus cramps (different from normal period cramps), but it's still very early. And I feel groggy in the morning, but that could be unrelated.

I'm just taking my vitamins and biding my time until the end of next week. I'm going to be really busy with my hobby from tomorrow until next Saturday, so hopefully that will make the time pass quickly!

Hey all! Just catching up with this thread. I've been at a funeral today so feeling a bit 😔 want someone to get a BFP to cheer me up!

@FireflyGirl haha it's so hard not to test isn't it!!! I'm so jealous of your short cycles. At least when you're TTC you get to the end of the cycle quicker! Mine can be between 30-35 days 🙄 but usually 33-34 before mmc.

Yeah sadly we only had a few BFPs on the other thread 😔 (although not quite the end of Jan yet and still a few more to test so hopefully we'll see a few more!) I remember counting how many girls we were at one point ( 🤓 ) and there were about 25 of us who had all recently been through a mmc. I literally couldn't believe it. Fingers crossed for some more BFPs in the next few days!

I think I am going to wait and see if AF arrives now (Monday/Tuesday) and if she hasn't arrived by Tuesday I will do a test then. I'm thinking she probably will because I keep having on and off cramps 😞. But the thing that is giving me a tiny glimmer of hope is this rank taste in my mouth and lack of sore boobs (both are symptoms I had last time I was pg). We'll see but don't want to be too optimistic!!

So, an update from me, my tests were getting darker so I did the bloods (I’m very lucky that I’m a nurse so I can get that done at work) so my HCG went from 41 to 143 in 48 hrs so that was good but obviously still very low so we will see! I need to hang on for a couple of weeks and see if it’s sticking

@Littlegoth have they put you on a treatment plan? I'm being tested for that in three weeks

Hi ladies....I've been lurking for a long time! Think I may have said hello on the previous thread but then I've been in hiding! I'm 10dpo but I'm trying really hard not to test this month. Previous 3 pregnancies have been chemicals so ignorance is bliss with me atm but it's so so so hard not to test. I'm so anxious because I've ran through the scenario in my head so many times of AF arriving and I just hate it. I've never had that before...I've always tested before AF has been due. But obviously hoping for a BFP but not very hopeful at all!

@Anny27 FC for you tomorrow. I’ll be waiting to hear hopefully your BFP in the morning!

@Cruiser1 thats really positive about your bloods. If I was a nurse I’d probably be getting everything tested TTC related as much as possible lol. Hopefully your HCG levels will continue to rise!

@MilsCookie sorry for your loss, funerals are awful. Hopefully your cramps aren’t AF. It’s Friday tomorrow, another day down and another day closer to testing.

Hi @Zoey36. Don’t hide, the ladies here are lovely and a god send. I don’t know who I’d be driving crazy with my obsessing if I didn’t get to hear about everyone else’s journey and know that this is our normal. When are you thinking of testing?

Today seems to have dragged so much. I’m in desperate need of a holiday but struggling to find somewhere nice and warm in March that is Zika free that won’t cost a bomb. If not caught this cycle hopefully the R&R will help 🤷‍♀️

No BFP for me :/

I tested and there is a SLITHER of a line.....but cant even pick up on camera so I am not convinced. Will retest in a few days but I am not holding out much hope.

I am still somewhat hopeful but I was expecting a better line a few days past supposed implantation

That’s me out for Jan. AF has arrived with a vengeance overnight. At least I have a day full of auditors to keep my mind occupied! (Never thought I’d be grateful for audit!)

Will be staying in the thread to hear of the BFPs still to come though.

@Anny27 i know you were hoping for a clear line this morning but FC a slither of a line gets darker and stronger for you.

@GemLou88 I don't know about testing! I normally start spotting 12dpo so if that doesnt happen, I'd be tempted to test but I am so worried about seeing a BFN. I hate tests!

@toomanyleggings yes I have to have 150Mg aspirin each night and as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test I’ll need to start heparin injections too x

Anny you might still just be too early if you implanted late. I know you got a bfp at 12dpo last time but each pregnancy is different so don't lose hope just yet. When is AF due? You're not out until she shows!! 🤞 for you 🍀🍀🍀

Ffs my Flo app has gone completely mental!! I am now on CD30, period expected in the next few days based on previous cycles. Before now Flo was saying I ovulated a week ago. Now it's saying am ovulating today and has pushed my period right back!! It doesn't make any sense. Looks like it's going as crazy as I am in the TWW!! 😂😂😂

I have been logging creamy dc for the last 5 days or so. Do you think that might be why? Anyway I'm just going to ignore it because my cycles have never been that long! 🤔 unless this robot app really does know more about my body than I do?!?! 😳🤔

I can't work out if this is a new pregnancy ( can you see the line?) or still from miscarriage. I had negative tests last week I thought on a cheapie (10mui) and this is a less sensitive brand (20mui)

Yeah that's strange that your app is saying that! I think you would have ovulated by now!

@toomanyleggings I can deffo see a line! its so hard to tell if its residual or not! I ovulated my first cycle even when I had residual hcg so only time will tell. Hope it's a new pregnancy for you 🤞🤞🤞

@MilsCookie confusing isn't it!! My AF is due next week, but I've definite ovulated late by my OPK kits. My app says I'm ovulating today but by the pain I got on my left side yesterday I think that's when I ovulated. Just hope that if I've ovulated late AF will be due later and I'm still in with a chance 🤞🏻

@toomanyleggings if you had a negative last week, then hopefully that means there's nothing left over from last pregnancy. I use 10mui tests from amazon that picked up left over products when the hospital tests didn't. If you now have that faint BFP on the 20mui hopefully it means this is a new pregnancy 🤞🏻 maybe test again in a few days and see if the line becomes darker x

@Anny27 I can imagine hun. That's exactly how I would be feeling too because all you want to see is those two lines. I totally get it. I would say try to be optimistic if you saw a faint line but I know if it was me I'd be half expecting AF to show so that if I got an obvious positive test in a few days I'd be pleasantly surprised!! It seems that most people are out this month 😔

Yeah so weird about my app. I definitely think I've ovulated already cos CD30 is way too late! But we'll have to wait and see I guess.

@GemLou88 11dpo today. If I start spotting tomorrow then I know I'm out really. If I don't, I'll assume my period is late but secretly pretend I'm pregnant! It's mad how loss changes you. DD1, I tested 9dpo, got a BFP and it never crossed my mind that that line wouldn't result in a baby! Miss the naiveity!

I think I've officially gone mad. I am now sat in a shopping centre having just bought a FRER wondering whether I should use it now in the shopping centres toilets or wait till the morning 🙈😂😳🤔

On CD30... so even if I didn't ovulate till CD21 (which I think would be the latest for me given that my cycles are usually 33-34 days) then that would mean I'm at least 9dpo today...

@Anny27 🙈🙈🙈🙈 when I got home I decided not to use the FRER and just used an IC because it wasn't my first pee of the day and got a very obvious BFN 😞. I have no idea when I ovulated but I'm assuming I'm between 8dpo and 11dpo so I'm really hoping it's just too early. I really 'feel' pregnant but maybe it's my body playing tricks on me 😞
Really want to try and wait for AF now but will test again on Tuesday AM if she hasn't showed. (If I can last that long!! 🙈)
