TTC after miscarriage - end of January 2020 testing

I don’t think I’ve got everyone so please tag anyone else who is still in TWW/planning on testing from now - end of the month.

This is for when we run out of space on the other thread! Then from here we can move to the Feb group set up by @terribleimagination or hopefully a pregnancy thread 😊

On CD28 currently and did a test this morning - BFN. AF due CD33-34 so hopefully was just too early 🙈.

@MilsCookie ah hopefully not! Spotting in early pregnancy is very normal so hopefully it's just that!

@Anny27 I hope you're right but the cramps are SO like they are just before AF arrives. This may be TMI but this is what it was when I wiped and has been like that twice more when I've been to the toilet. Think it's just the start of af! 😩

Awwh hun :( @MilsCookie that's tough waiting to see whether she arrives or whether its early pregnancy spotting :( really feel for you atm!

My tummy is still playing up tonight when I would have expected it to have settled, and I still have cramps, so still no answers. I have more tests arriving tomorrow or Friday, will start poas when I get them.

@Zoey36 I was anxious all the way through with DS after I had my first MMC. If you are still struggling after 8-12 weeks, speak to your midwife. I wish I had - I didn't bond with DS until he was 6 months old because I was so worried he was going to be 'taken away'

@Anny27 thanks lovely. The cramps seem to have calmed down a bit for now and the bleeding has only been pink and then a bit of brown and seems to have stopped again? So confusing. Fully expecting to come on properly tomorrow though!!

Yes @MilsCookie, AF due tomorrow. Even after MC, I've very rarely been late, so will be out of limbo soon...

And she's just arrived!

Oh my goodness... so AF full on arrived in the night. So much so that i woke up feeling wet and my pyjamas were soaked in blood. The first one since mc was really heavy too. I never used to have heavy periods before the mc!! 😫 so I guess that's me out ladies.
I will say hello on the Feb board but this month I'm going to try and stay off my phone a bit more!!

Awwh sorry @milscookie :( I have decided to wait to test this month so I can avoid disappointment as I SWEAR I saw a faint line and it just makes you excited. Imagine you felt the same :(

@Anny27 thanks lovely. Yep, me too!! I think I've learnt my lesson by testing early! Definitely going to wait until I'm at LEAST 2 days late next time. Just a waste of money and gets your hopes up. No idea what those lines were that we both saw then 😞 so gutting.

I posted in the original chat but i haven’t said much in the last few weeks.

I just wanted to let you know I got my BFP this week but I wanted to tell you what I did differently this month. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or if it worked but I hope it gives people some hope that these things can work.

• This month I have actually been more stressed then I have ever before for lots of reasons that weren’t conceiving related so... don’t worry about being stressed!
• I did 2 sessions of acupuncture ( 1 time a week before when I think i was ovulating and 1 time just after)

-i drank lots or grapefruit juice (a glass a day) a week coming up to ovulation. I noticed I had more CM then usual.

• I DTD ever other day from the day after my period and then everyday on the day before and after i ovulated
• I used OPK (clearblue digital) but i didn’t follow it completely. I think i either ovulated twice or ovulated late. I followed my CM when it was wet and clear I made sure I DTD.

-I ate a lot of salmon and lots of dark leafy greens -I had a lot of bone broth soup -I made some red date tea

Do some research, it might not work for everyone and also it’s not over until the baby is past the safe period! But I know how you’re all feeling and Some may have called me obsessive but I wanted to make sure I gave myself the best chance. Anyway good luck everyone!

Can i just ask how did you follow CM?
I found dtd daily interfere a lot and i dont have any CM at all by the time ovulation comes... it’s like dtd dries up everything.

I got a faint BFP on Friday. I did a CB digital Monday which said pregnant 1-2 weeks. There seemed to be many of us on this thread, but not too many getting their BFP. I hope there was more than we knew about. Wishing everyone that got their BFP all the best for a healthy and happy 9 months, and to everyone TTC in February all the best for BFP xxx

@Michette I also find that DTD totally screws up my interpretation of CM Haha! I seem to have none compared to when we dont DTD
