Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

Hi, I've had my IUD removed today and due to ovulate next week Grin
We are trying for our third baby. DS is 12 and DD is 8 so we've left quite a bit of a gap but I'm approaching 30 and hubby is 38 and don't want to leave it too late.
Has anyone else fell pregnant after having a Mirena Coil removed and roughly how long did it take (my first 2 were first time trying)?
Good Luck Girls, happy humping Smile

Maidmummy · 03/01/2020 15:52

@Wintergal I've told my OH about it too and he can't wait to get home and see it in action, he's adamant we are going to have twin boys, really don't think what little sanity I have left could cope with twins 😂

Wintergal · 03/01/2020 16:26

@Maidmummy I will keep you posted if he excited or not haha! Twin boys now that would be interesting! My dh has a boys name picked so hopefully he is happy with the ring challenge lol!
My opk arrived today but not sure when to start using them. Only Cd5. Af packed her bags yesterday hopefully she is away on a long trip!

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 16:53

@wintergal if they are the CB OPK's then use one straight away. It will come up with a blank circle to say your fertility is low but after that it will track your hormone levels really accurately!
I'm hoping for flashing smiley face over the weekend and then solid smiley face Monday!
@LJJ17 my friend conceived after her couple expelled itself, without her knowing 😱 so all being you should go back to normal quite quickly! 🤞

hi,

Jumping on the thread here! i have teen TTC for 16 months now with PCOS. Miscarriage 1 April 2019 at 8 weeks, chemical/v early miscarriage Dec 25th 2019.
Found out today that my best friend is pregnant, she came off the implant and fell pg straight away. insanely happy for her but gutted its not me.. (sounds so selfish i know, i can't help it)
first time i've used this sort of thing but hoping for support from you lovely lot. due to ovulate on 13th Jan (35 day cycle) spreading lots of baby dust to you all Flowers

MrsD1990 · 03/01/2020 17:20

Hi everyone, I'm a first time poster but have enjoyed reading all these threads and stories of bfp!

I am TTC this month. I am 29 (so is DH) but I have endometriosis and a fibroid so I'm not sure how long it will take us. I hope it doesn't take us too long but I have already been told that particularly my endometriosis will affect my fertility.

Really enjoyed playing the ring game. Apparently I'll have a boy then a girl!

@avh19 I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage and early miscarriage. Totally understand why you would be upset finding out your best friend got pregnant so easily having gone through what you have. I hope you're okay and you get your bfp soon!

Baby dust to everyone TTC!

Welcome to the crazy train ladies! I think we all know what we will be up to at the weekend!! 🤪🤪🤪

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 17:39

Holy crap @debbs77 I've just watched that video and did the test 4 times and every time it said boy first and then it stopped on the second go! It was the same every time!
We really really want a boy and only want one so OMG now I'm super excited! Haha!!! 😂😂😂

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 03/01/2020 19:45

Well OH watched me do it and let's just say he's ecstatic that a boy may be next, think he's more in to TTC'ING than me he's like a woman possessed 😂

DustyDiva · 03/01/2020 20:29

Hello everyone
4dpo today and feeling nauseous... I know I shouldn't be symptom spotting as it's way too early!!! How's everyone else doing? Sounds like it's going to be a busy weekend 😍

Wintergal · 03/01/2020 20:41

@Maidmummy mine is the same I thought he would laugh it off but he is excited that it's saying boy.

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 21:01

Hi @dustydiva I had symptoms last month, right from a couple days after DPO.
I have nausea, cramps, sore boobs but it was nothing, just my body torturing me, so try not to think too much into it.
Apparently (so I've been told!) symptoms don't really kick in until after implantation, which is anything from 6-12 after DPO. One lady on here did get really early symptoms and she got a BFP so you never know!! 🤞🤞
Everyone is different x

DustyDiva · 03/01/2020 21:08

I know I shouldn't symptom spot but it kills the time 😂 with my son I had symptoms from 5dpo and for a BFO at 10dpo but every pregnancy is different.... I've prob just eaten too much Christmas chocolate 😬

DustyDiva · 03/01/2020 21:09

Sorry typos!! Had a BFP at 10dpo with my son

BecauseReasons · 03/01/2020 21:11

Am I doing this test thing wrong? I get a totally different answer every time! Sad

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 21:24

@BecauseReasons which tests are you referring to?

OP posts:
Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 21:25

@dustydiva if you had similar symptoms with your first then you never know!!!! Eeeeekkkkk!!!! 😁😁😁😁

OP posts:
BecauseReasons · 03/01/2020 22:04

@Ginge35 sorry- that ring one. That everyone says gives the same answer every time. Doesn't work for me.

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 22:41

Don't worry @BecauseReasons it's only a bit of fun! I told my DH about it and he looked at me like I'm mad! 🤪🤪🤪

OP posts:
BecauseReasons · 03/01/2020 22:51

I know @Ginge35. I don't place any stock in them but it'd be nice if they worked the same for me as for everyone else. Anyway, hi everyone, waves.

I'm sort of TTC but not massively- not doing OPKs or even DTD much more often than usual, just waiting to see what happens I guess. The first time we did this I was pregnant on the first cycle but I think it'll take much longer this time because I'm still breastfeeding and my periods haven't returned yet. Thought I'd hang out here for a bit and cheer you lot on though if that's OK?

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 23:06

Of course @BecauseReasons everyone is welcome here!
At least you already have a DC, I'm still hoping I get just one, but to be honest I sent myself mental last month, so I'm trying to be more relaxed this time round, but I know my brain will take over and I'll be at Boots within a week buying more pregnancy tests, as I will have already used the ones I have 🤪🤪🤪
I think I need help! 😝

OP posts:
BecauseReasons · 03/01/2020 23:23

It's easy to be impatient- it's an exciting time! When can you test next? I'm limiting myself to one a month because I've got no clue whether I'm even ovulating yet. Then again, I got pregnant straight off the pill last time without having had a period in about half a decade, so you never know when it'll happen.

FarmerWantsABaby · 04/01/2020 02:54

The big 3am-er is back! Just bought some CB OPK (advanced). As a serial POAS candidate with an irregular cycle (coming off the pill after 10 years and still have not regulated since October) I have no idea when I’m due to ovulate. AF has come 2, 3, even 5 weeks late! I’m wondering if it is any benefit to me to take a CB OPK every day? Or around the days my app (Apple Health) predicts my ovulation?
I said I’d calm down this month. I lied. 🤥

Geauxtigers · 04/01/2020 04:21

I'm 31 and DP 30 and we are ttc for first time. Cycles usually around 29-31 days and don't give me too much hassle. Had period on Xmas day and started ttc on New Year's Day.
Went on the pill at 16 for my skin and my mental health reacted so badly I swore I wouldn't use chemicals to alter my fertility so have always used condoms so luckily know my cycle and natural body rhythms quite well.
My ovulation day should be some time between 10th to 12th Jan so DTD every other day until 9th and then every day until 14th then back to every other until the 16th or so! 😂 DP has no clue about it all- today he asked me where the wee comes out! 😂🤔🙄
