Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣

@newmum2020 so sorry to hear this. I know what you mean, it's tough when there's so much positivity going on around you. I hope everything works out for you and look after yourself too. I'm also thinking about leaving too because I'm getting too caught up with ovulation etc. It's consuming me at the minute and I feel like I need to clear my head xx

@newmum2020 Sorry to hear this, but don't lose hope yet- lots of women do bleed in early pregnancy and have totally healthy pregnancies. Try to keep your mind off it, hard as it is. Fingers crossed for you for next week.

@MrsD1990 Congratulations! 🎉 I'm taking a clear blue tomorrow too. I'm still unconvinced of mine, despite the fairly strong result.

@FarmerWantsABaby I also found that it's tough when everyone else is getting a positive result except you, and the group does focus your mind on TTC more. I was much more relaxed about things before I joined, so I totally get where you're coming from regarding taking a step back from the group. If you do take a break, please do find this group again and post on it when you get that BFP though. I'm sure it'll happen soon.

I hope you're ok @newmum2020 - I do definitely know many people who bled in early pregnancy and all was well so I'm keeping everything crossed.

@Ginge35 I had pretty much no symptoms for my first trimester last time.... I know it's lucky in some ways but it made me quite anxious! Hope you're doing ok.

I've been keeping quiet, just waiting for ovulation to come around again. Think it will be next week maybe 6/7th so still a way to go but will obviously be trying hard to catch it haha!

All good my end @Effram been to see my doctor today and referred to the antenatal clinic, so should get my appointment soon!
Still feeling fine and doctor said I'm 5 weeks gone and my due date is 29th September, but that could change with my first scan.
Booking for an early scan in February, which is when we will tell our parents, but friends and family will have to wait until I'm 12 weeks before anything gets said.
Starting to feel excited now! I'm just hoping I stay feeling 'normal' and just breeze through the whole thing! I can but wish! 😝

@EffRam Hiya!I'm ok thanks for checking in! Day 2 of fertile window (based on Ovia) and have the flashing smiley on the CB OPK...we'll see...work is v busy which isn't helping with finding the time for DTD (checking emails during sex bad right 😂). I sort of hate the flashing smiley face and it's only been two days. Wish it would stop bl**dy winking at me and turn solid already.

Aww, sorry @Bethwox. It'll happen, don't worry. @Ginge35 you're so organised! I keep meaning to call the doctor's to ask to be registered for a booking appointment but only seem to remember when I'm home in the evening and they're already shut. 🤦🤷

@BecauseReasons it had been booked for weeks for my dermatitis on my legs so quite handy really that the appointment was ready and waiting for me haha!

I'm still here just watching and waiting. Thought I'd update you all. So I only really bled Sunday, tiny bit spotting Monday then nothing Tuesday or weds til evening when I had a bit of pink cm. today nothing at all and still strong positive lines, exactly as they were when I got BFP a week ago. Not sure what to think to be honest! Hanging onto hope with tests being strong positives - do you think I'm clutching at straws? It's the worst just not knowing what's going on inside me!!

@newmum2020 that sounds very positive. Lots of women do bleed in early pregnancy- it can be totally normal. Prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

My sympathies- that's basically how I live my life and it's really no fun. I understand the need to protect yourself emotionally though, and in many ways that's wise in early pregnancy regardless of bleeding.

I'm not sure tbh. I truly wasn't expecting it to happen so soon and now it has I'm a little bit... not regretful exactly, but definitely kicking myself for being so relaxed about it. I'm mainly worried about the age gap between Newbie and DD being too small- there will only be 28 months between them, and DD is currently such a little gem and we have such a good relationship that I'd hate to ruin it by adding another baby before she's old enough to properly accept it. But I'm too far down the rabbit-hole to turn back now. Just got to hope she takes it well, I suppose.

@BecauseReasons I imagine that's a natural way to feel. Don't be hard on yourself. My brother just had a new baby and his other daughter turned 2 just 2 weeks later, she is taking time to adjust but that's to be expected and she's coming round to the idea of being a big sister! I think it'll be tough for a while but I am sure they'll be very close when they are a bit older, making it all worthwhile ☺️

Hi @newmum2020 this may sound a bit too intrusive but have you been dtd? When I was pregnant with my son every time we dtd I'd end up with slight bleeding. After my gp admitted me to hospital for observation on one occasion my midwife asked "by any chance have you been enjoying some hanky panky?" 😂😂 she then reassured me it's quite common for slight bleeding to occur after sex during pregnancy!

@HighlandMam1 we haven't no, I'm too scared to for two reasons....1) after miscarriage I'm super anxious full stop 2) last time I had horrific cramps after sex! So I am a bit cautious about it, much to my husband's dismay lol 😂

day 2 of fertile window here. Everything is go....

It did turn solid - on the day the Clue app predicted so all my huffing and puffing at the bloody blinking face didn’t do anything to speed it up . Now day 4 DPO. Sigh. It’s all SUCH a long process. I HATE the waiting bit.

Well the bleeding stopped after Sunday, just some mild spotting Monday and a bit of pink cm after that. I took a digital clear blue test yesterday and it said 3+ so I think that's as positive as can be. I called EPU and they don't seem concerned since bleeding stopped and test positive after a week. So I've got my first normal midwife appointment on 21st Feb. I'm still a nervous wreck but have to try and be positive!! My boobs are gradually getting sorer by the day so I also think that's good? They feel on fire today!! I had a really bad cramp last night for about 15 mins then it eased, was quite worrying but I have to assume ok! Ahhhhh this is a rollercoaster of emotions!!!

How's the TWW so far?? Every step of baby making is so hard!!!
