Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

Good luck to @Ginge35 & @Flowerpot26 this wkend...my fertile window isn’t until the end of next wkend 😔 I hate the waiting game! My friends/family also have kids and I’m one of the last, but not letting that stop me 🤣 means I’ll have some babysitters in a few years.

DustyDiva · 02/01/2020 22:31

Hi can I join too, I’m 38 and ttc #2, I have PCOS and had numerous attempts at IVF for my son along with 2 mc. However 7 years on and I seem to be seeing a dramatic drop in my PCOS symptoms so am going all out to optimise my chances of becoming pg again. According to my app I am 3/4 dpo today but who knows, PCOS is a bleeeeep and you never know where you are..... looking forward to chatting with you all :)SmileSmile

Ginge35 · 02/01/2020 22:46

Welcome @dustydiva to us crazy lot! I never thought TTC would make me feel this way!
I spent Christmas with my nieces and nephew and literally lost it at one point as I just really want to have my own little family!
I didn't know it would be so tricky with TTC! Did everything I could for the last 18 years making sure it didn't happen and now I do it's like my has just said "nope!!!"
Fingers crossed for us this month ladies! 🤞🤞🤞

I'd love to jump on board too!

I already have children and was due to be sterilised in August after having my coil removed in march. 9 days before my OP I was still not getting my period and had a very shocking positive!!

Heartbreakingly we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. That was the end of october.

After the initial shock of the pregnancy turned to excitement, which turn to heartbreak, we decided that we wanted to try for another baby.

It didn't happen last month but am hopeful for this month. I've always fallen first time every time with my other children so this waiting malarkey is new to me!

Due to our ages (I'm 42 and he is 40), we are limiting ourselves to only trying until May. Also, if we miscarry again then we won't try for another baby

I've ovulated last week, we had sex twice a day every day.

My partner and his ex wife took 5 years to conceive their daughter, so their could be an issue of his fertility but we will see. We obviously managed it last time, albeit accidentally!

DustyDiva · 02/01/2020 23:01

Thanks @Ginge35 🤗 it's a very tough time indeed, 7 years ago my journey was very different, I found huge comfort from online communities, and learnt a lot about being good to myself, being as healthy as I could, giving into my urges to google 'early pg symptoms' and not feel bad about it. Ttc is a tough journey and I have huge respect for every lady who is strong enough to put themselves through it. Baby dust to all 🥰

Ginge35 · 02/01/2020 23:07

Welcome @debbs77 so sorry about your MC! I can't imagine why it must be like! If I ever do get pregnant I just hope that it doesn't happen to me! I've had family go through it and it's vile to see, so I can only imagine the sadness you most likely still feel!
Here's hoping for a positive 2020 for us! It appears we are all similar with our ovulation days (give or take) so let's see if we can keep our thread going and have lots of BFP's in the next few weeks! 🤞🤞🤞

It was honestly heartbreaking, but it made us stronger together if that makes sense.

Definitely all on the same kind of schedule!

DustyDiva · 02/01/2020 23:20

I am due to test Jan 13 th, I currently have very tingly boobs which hopefully means I did actually O as in the past ovulation has been very random for me, sometimes 14 months apart!!!

FarmerWantsABaby · 03/01/2020 03:14

Hi ladies, mind if a newbie joins?
I’m a common visitor to these forums but I never post. Myself and hubby have been TTC since October 2019 and I was very naive about becoming pregnant on our first try (doh!). I had been on the pill for 11 years and my cycle is very irregular so MrFarmer is having a grand old time of it DTD every other day 😂
I recently discover my mum had taken fertility tablets in order to have me and my middle brother so I’m beginning to wonder if that too could be my fate?
I’m a serial POTS and need to stop! Emotions are also magnified after watching some of my friends announce their pregnancies with statements like “it just took one go!” 🙈
I’m a teacher, he is a farmer/concreter/plasterer and we love very busy lives! We are both relaxing this month. I have stopped taking ovulation tests, stopped tracking dates and just going with the flow to see what happens!

FarmerWantsABaby · 03/01/2020 03:16

Wow a lot of errors in my post. Probably a result of staying up at 3am!

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 07:37

Welcome @FarmerWantsABaby this site is super helpful as you will come to see that you're not the only emotionally unstable one TTC 🤪
I never realised how serious it all gets! I was naive like you and thought sec without protection and the pill and poof! I'd be pregnant! Oh how wrong I was! 😝
I came off the pill in September and have been on time (give or take a day) ever since, though some months lasts longer than others!
Fingers crossed for you this month too!

2dpo today and woke up with mild cramps again still unsure why 🤷 and I've had a headache since yesterday that I can't seem to shift so who knows what's going on 🤔 How's everybody else getting on x

debbs77 · 03/01/2020 08:49

For anyone feeling down about it, try this ring gender test. It predicts the babies you will ever have. I've done this over 25 times now, I have a large family, and it is exactly right every single time xx

FarmerWantsABaby · 03/01/2020 10:59

@debbs77 I tried this. A boy, two girls and a boy apparently. Did it twice and it was the same both times 😂

debbs77 · 03/01/2020 11:22

Mine is correct in saying

Girl
Girl
Boy
Girl
Girl
Girl

Then it goes in a HUGE circle which suggests twin boys next!

Wintergal · 03/01/2020 11:44

I tried this twice 2 boys each time .

Maidmummy · 03/01/2020 11:56

Right for me too, I have a girl and 2 boys it was right and apparently I'm having a boy then a girl then no more but on the last boy it goes round really fast and wide what does that mean x

Ginge35 · 03/01/2020 13:56

@debbs77 I'm trying this when I get home from work! My DH really wants a boy (baring in mind I'm not even pregnant yet!!) so I'll be curious to see what it says! Lol

OP posts:
Maidmummy · 03/01/2020 14:40

I've done this about 8 times today (mad woman haha) and it comes bk the same every time needless to say OH is ecstatic as he's desperate for a boy 😂

Wintergal · 03/01/2020 14:55

@Maidmummy that made me chuckle as I felt like mad woman trying it over and over lol!

FarmerWantsABaby · 03/01/2020 15:02

@Wintergal @Maidmummy you know what girls I am delighted to see others like myself 😂

Maidmummy · 03/01/2020 15:11

Right now that test is acting as future PT'S and just like PT'S we can't do just the one 😂 x

debbs77 · 03/01/2020 15:15

It is incredible isn't it!

One of my daughters is meant to have 9 children!

Wintergal · 03/01/2020 15:19

I message my DH to tell ive a trick to show him however I've a feeling he won't find just as exciting as I have all day!!! But an excuse to try it again haha

debbs77 · 03/01/2020 15:29

My step daughter tried it, and it didn't move. That was heartbreaking, but we just dismissed it at that point as just an old wives tale, even though it works for me
