Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

@BecauseReasons
Yip there is definitely a few different do's and dont's .. the other I heard was no lubricants, eat sea food and pumpkin seeds or something...? It's endless. I had my first at 21 and was one of those annoying people who gets pregnant first time and had a great labour. My lifestyle hasn't changed much apart from an extra stone in weight so this is why I think are taking bad it's taking longer.
@Ginge35 yip I stopped buying PT I would do like 3 a day sometimes! But after 2mnths of stress I managed to relax a lil with it thankfully.

Wow this thread has certainly become busy 😁 hope this month is THE month for all of us. Afm I'm 2-4dpo don't ask how I'm not sure as it's entirely confusing 😂 but I do know I've ovulated in the last few days as CM has gone from watery fertile back to non fertile creamy I have everything crossed right now 🤞. Will admit I went a bit crazy on amazon and purchased 25 dip strip tests and a clearblue digi just in case I get a positive on the cheapie and I'm now symptom spotting (I may be insane by the time I do fall pregnant) so far just cramps and a headache I can't shift x

Ginge35 · 05/01/2020 20:42

@maidmummy how awesome would be to have this three full of BFP's from all of us! What a way to start 2020 eh!
Fingers crossed some of us do at the very least! Due to ovulate tomorrow so will be DTD again tomorrow after I get home from work!
I don't know about creamy, watery, high cervix, low cervix! Christ I'm stunned by how many ways you can check you're ovulating! I'm gonna stick to peeing on the OPK's! 😂
Baby dust to you all! ❤️

When is the best time of day to check CM?
Or is there even one lol

Ginge35 · 05/01/2020 21:21

@FarmerWantsABaby whats CM? I'm still trying to get up to speed with the abbreviations! 😬

Hey ladies!

I wanna jump on the crazy train too, AF arrived yesterday so cycle three I have arrived! This month I plan to go for broke, taking vits, got two types of fertility vits for DH ( he's got low motility post cancer) I'll be eating pineapple, brazil nuts, DTD every other day, bring it on!!

Baby dust to all and looking forward to hear everyone's experiences! Star

BecauseReasons · 05/01/2020 21:36

CM is cervical mucus, isn't it? And you want it like egg whites?

Ginge35 · 05/01/2020 21:51

@BecauseReasons this one is lost on me! I've googled so much stuff I really do not know what's what anymore! Like I said before I'll just stick to the OPK's! 🤪🤪🤪

BecauseReasons · 05/01/2020 22:07

It's not a tricky one, really. Just when your discharge gets all gloopy like the texture of egg whites it's an indication that you're in your fertile window. Generally I notice when wiping (sorry, TMI!)

newmum2020 · 05/01/2020 22:07

Yes it's cervical mucus which was brand new info to me til I joined Mumsnet!!! I believe @BecauseReasons is right it should be like egg white around ovulation but personally I'm not checking mine. I have read about people feeling their cervix too as a sign but I wouldn't have a clue how to!!

BecauseReasons · 05/01/2020 22:08

*uncooked egg whites, I feel I should specify! If your discharge ever resembles cooked egg whites, see your GP!

BecauseReasons · 05/01/2020 22:12

@newmum2020 Yeah, more power to those who can do it, but I'm not messing around with my cervix either. I'd be too worried about causing damage.

newmum2020 · 05/01/2020 22:13

@BecauseReasons 😂😂😂

FarmerWantsABaby · 05/01/2020 22:37

Dying at @BecauseReasons 😂

Wintergal · 05/01/2020 22:43

@BecauseReasons that made me chuckle!!!

Ginge35 · 05/01/2020 22:46

I have never taken any notice of my discharge colour or consistency! It's just there most days! 😝
This site is a right eye opener! 😝😝😝
You lot are so funny! ❤️

Maidmummy · 06/01/2020 07:36

CM doesn't necessarily have to be like raw egg whites mine never has and I've had three children, mines really watery and slippery around ovulation but before and after it's more of a creamy/lotion texture. I've tried checking my cervix but as I've been pregnant 3 times the cervix never fully closes again so no point in doing it lol x

sojo44 · 06/01/2020 08:38

5-6DPO here, the days are dragging 😂 and it's back to work today! Send help!!

@Ginge35 exactly that!! They made it sound as contagious as an uncovered sneeze!! Now that we want to get preggo it seems like a mission.

Around how many DPO is everyone testing? I'm thinking of waiting till the weekend (she says hopefully).

Maidmummy · 06/01/2020 09:05

@sojo44 same as you I plan on testing once a day from Friday because I'm obsessed 😂 thankfully I have 25 cheapies to use lol x

FarmerWantsABaby · 06/01/2020 10:40

I had some slight cramps yesterday. Not sure what that would mean.
Agree with @sojo44 and @Ginge35 I avoided it like the plague for years. Prayed I wasn’t many’s a times during my degree and now I have an underlying feeling of guilt because I want nothing more than to be pregnant now 🙈
As for checking cervix.... not a notion 😂

Krl2020 · 06/01/2020 10:46

Hi Gang!
I want to jump on this crazy train with you guys if I may? Just at work reading through this feed (very busy I know!) TTC #1 cycle #1 7DPO. Not expecting it to happen straight away! Came off the pill in NOV 19 after being on it for 10 years got my first 'proper' period in December surprisingly right on time! Smile

EffRam · 06/01/2020 10:51

Hello all, I am due to ovulate in next few days so joining too!

This is first month trying to conceive no 2. My son is 15 months so would be a 2 year gap - although he was a month early so potentially could be a bit under if it takes... I'm currently enjoying all the sex, managed more in the last week than we have in about 6 months! I am also terrible at getting hooked on the tracking and tests...

AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 06/01/2020 13:47

Cd4 ttc our first, had a chemical last month so that was a bit of a blow because we celebrated new year thinking we were, but it wasn't to be. Going to try not to do early testing this month, but will definitely probably backtrack on that in a couple of weeks. Just want AF to get gone so we can have another go! Finding it difficult not to wish my time away right now, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Sending love xx

Ginge35 · 06/01/2020 13:50

Afternoon ladies! Expected a solid smiley face on my OPK this morning but it was still flashing so not sure what's going on there!
Just told my DH that I'll need his services for the next few days just to be on the safe side! Haha! His face had a stupid smirk on it! 😝

And I'm confessing this to you all as none of you know me personally and I need to tell someone, but after DTD yesterday I did a handstand (ex gymnast) up my bedroom wall to make sure gravity took full effect!!!

WHATS IS HAPPENING TO ME! 😂😂😂😝😝😂
