Anyone looking to start TTC in New Year?

Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

Hey everyone, currently 11/12dpo going by ov pains. First cycle TTC first baby. Was planning to wait til Thursday to test but then I bought some cheapies so might test tomorrow. Due on Tues or Weds.

Haha ne too @JaffaCakeGal. We conceived first go last time so I just kept thinking 'no chance it will happen twice'.

Hi @yoomoo :) welcome back and glad you’re feeling better!

CD8 currently, month 3 of ttc. Off pill in August ‘19 and last two cycles were 33 and 36 days. Last cycle I ovulated on cd 26 according to opk’s so going to see my doc about that as I’m worried about short luteal phase. Got some pre-seed ready for this month, and only going to track ovulation to see if it happens really late in my cycle again. Got nag to try and relax a bit more this month as it all got a bit robotic last cycle.

I'm 29, turning 30 this month! Came off the depo jab in August and then was on the mini pill until 16th of December. Had spotting on 20th Jan but nothing since. Also had an LH spike on 26th jan but two BFNs this week.

Patiently awaiting a period so we can start properly trying!

I have two girls this is month one of trying for no 3 tbh I'm nervous I've been wanting 3 forever but now it's crunch time I'm nervous!

I can't get to sleep technically I can test on a first response tomorrow, I've set an alarm!

Symptom wise I've had two little twinges no spotting but I didn't spot last time. Today I'm ridiculously bloated and windy but it's probably ibs I do have what feels like a mouth ulcer and I had those in one pregnancy but I think it's more likely due to feeling run down

Oh and I'm 38

I've just got a smiley face on an ovulation stick I heard they can sometimes detect pregnancy. I really want it to be morning so I can test

I'm 33 and TTC no 2 (my son is 16 months) this is cycle 2. first time round it took around 3 cycles, but we caught the first time I used OPKS.

4DPO so in the TWW now, period due 19/20th but I imagine I will end up testing this weekend although we are going away so I may try and be strong and not take any tests with me! No symptoms yet - definitel y haven't wasted loads of time looking back at my apps from 2 years ago when I conceived before to analyse further symptoms...

I'm 37 and trying for no.2 we managed it first time round with no.1 so I'm feeling under pressure now to do it again. Came of the pill a month ago but no sign of anything happening yet. I never used OPKs the first time but I have this time as no idea what's going on. Took one yesterday and think it was positive. Trying to upload a photo here but couldn't do it for some reason.

Both tests negative digital and first response I felt sick this am. I'm wondering if maybe it implanted and hasn't worked and I just have some symptoms x

@LynseyLou1982 that doesn't look quite positive to me, as unlike pregnancy tests the line needs to be the same or darker as control. Worth continuing to test regularly though to see if it gets darker?

@butterflylove81 that's disappointing, but are you late yet? could still be a bit early?

@Effram I'm going to test again she I get back from work. Hopefully it will be darker as I've been getting ovulation pain in both sides for the past 2 days.

@EffRam no still 4 days away from period so still a chance I just showed up really early with my other two girls but I guess that doesn't mean it would happen every time

I'm ttc #3 I have two boys already. I suffered a chemical pregnancy in October and then MC at 6 weeks in November. The miscarriage took ages for the HCG to come down from 690 so only started ttc again in January.

I'm currently 7 or 8dpo at least. So I'm excited to crack open the FRER soon 🙈. I've had lots of cramping pains today at work which I've never noticed with any pregnancies before but have my fingers crossed anyway!

I'm 32, and on month two of ttc, it's both of our first so hoping it won't take too long. On cd5 today so expecting to ovulate towards the end if next week, when we can get into another round of DH asking me if I 'feel pregnant yet' 🙄

4 days until period I have another bfn I'm not feeling too hopeful this month anymore

Does anyone else suffer from ovulation pain? Its really painful on both sides at the moment to the point where I can't straighten up or walk without pain.

Could it be??? I caved ! I tested! It wasn't my FMU which is a shame now. Can anyone see a line ????

Can't believe it, I think I must have ovulated sooner than I thought after all. I did get the EWCM 11 days ago so maybe as far as 11dpo. After the last two pregnancies didn't work, I'm super nervous ! Xx
