Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

That sounds very promising @TheLastStark! Let us know how you do. I cried at work today but probably more stress and my Pisces-ness than any pregnancy symptoms 😂

Ginger87 · 04/02/2020 19:54

Fingers crossed @TheLastStark

I'm due in the next couple of days, so will test on Saturday if AF doesn't show. Been feeling rather PMSy today though so not holding up much hope...

alliejay81 · 04/02/2020 20:07

AF arrived Sad. Here's to TTC in Feb Wine.

Ginger87 · 04/02/2020 21:44

@alliejay81 that's a shame :(

I noticed some spotting this evening after my earlier post which feels like it's probably the start of AF, but guess it could potentially still be implantation bleeding at 12dpo?

alliejay81 · 04/02/2020 22:44

I'm really bad at tracking, but I've been good this month. So I was pleased to confirm

a) my cycle length is very normal (30 days)
b) I ovulated and
c) my luteal phase is within the normal range (16 days).

Already worked out both DH and I are on holiday for my next ovulation, so that's positive!

Fx it's implantation bleeding.

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 09:40

Massively seem to be symptom spotting, I had this funny stingy twinge yesterday day 5 post ovulation and since we dtd. Had a similar feeling about 6 days after I conceived my last daughter I know it's most likely nothing but hard not to read into it x

Effram · 05/02/2020 10:28

@TheLastStark fingers crossed for you, any news??

@butterflylove81 and @Ginger87 also sounds promising, keeping fingers crossed for you too!

Apps predicting ovulation tomorrow, nothing on OPK yesterday though but temp dropped today so here's hoping... my husband is getting quite tired and has been getting in from work at 1am but is under strict instructions to wake me up haha! Sex is getting less sexy and more...efficient... by the day!

TheLastStark · 05/02/2020 10:48

Two tests done, both negative Sad

I've booked a doctor's appointment as I'm still very queasy. Seems like a badly timed stomach bug.

Now just waiting for period to come so we can move onto the next cycle

FootballAndBeer145 · 05/02/2020 11:02

@TheLastStark hope you feel better soon. There is so much going around at the moment.

Does anyone use preseed fertility lube? If so do you use it around ovulation only or for all your cycle?

LynseyLou1982 · 05/02/2020 11:29

I think AF/withdrawal bleed is coming. Little bits of brown spotting today (sorry for the TMI)

lucymagoo · 05/02/2020 12:25

@TheLastStark I know how you feel, got my hopes this morning when I woke up feeling exhausted and dizzy etc (is it normal to be happy about feeling unwell? 😂) but it turns out 3 other people in my office feel the same so just a bug I think

Ginger87 · 05/02/2020 18:05

@TheLastStark hope you feel better soon.

Still not sure what's going on my end. I woke up fully expecting to have full on AF and... nothing, until about mid morning when I started spotting again. Going to give it another couple of days and if no 'proper' bleeding I'll do a test to be sure.

Newbie0818 · 05/02/2020 19:12

Sorry to hear @alliejay81 :( af sucks. February buddies 🤞🏼💛

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 19:17

Do you all abstain from alcohol in the 2WW I was on honeymoon when I conceived didn't know I was pregnant with my first. Does any alcohol pass to the baby if there's no placenta. We are on holiday and I have no idea if I'm pregnant or not so have sort of carried on as normal but I feel awful now and have decided to cut out coffee alcohol etc for the next 8 days. Not sure any people normally do or if it can affect things this early on

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 19:18

Not sure what people normally do? It's so hard not knowing

lucymagoo · 05/02/2020 21:45

@butterflylove81nothing passes through until after you’ve implanted which can be like 10 days after ovulation so I’m sure you’re absolutely fine. And if any did pass on then it would barely be enough to cause harm :)

lucymagoo · 05/02/2020 21:46

I caved and did a test at 9dpo am I being really hopeful to say I see something on the black and white version??

Lucymagoo thanks I'm 6 days post ovulation today I'm not going to have any alcohol for the reatof my holiday until I rest now xxx

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 22:39

*rest of holiday until I test

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 22:41

Also I think I might be able to see a faint line on the black and white I'm used to squinting as testing from day10 post ovulation with both my girls xxx

butterflylove81 · 05/02/2020 23:54

Rhirhibumblebee I forgot to reply my other two are 3 and 17 months so If fall pregnant in next 2 months for a couple of months I'd have 3 under 4!!! Love it but I'm possibly slightly mad but just don't want to wait much longer husband is 10 years older than me and if I wait till they are older I think he will say he's getting too old haha. I'm so excited I'm on holiday and am booked in to have a facial tomorrow I'm just going to relax ironically when I went in to book they had a display cabinet of necklaces like those 'tree of life' ones I don't know why but I feel I want to buy one as a good luck charm I'm a hopeless romantic wore a piece of string woth this little angel wing on during my last pregnancy is meant to put it in my daughters keepsake box but I lost it sometime after she was born :(

Lola871 · 06/02/2020 11:19

@lucymagoo I'm sorry I can't see anything, but 9dpo would be very unusual to get a positive! I'd say try again at 11 or 12dpo.

I'm currently 8/9 dpo and was starting to feel hopeful after no boob soreness (I normally get it almost immediately post ov). I also had the tiniest bit of pinky orange CM yesterday and thought it could be implantation.

But today I've talked myself out of it being positive and now I'm sure I'm not pregnant 🤣 I think it's just because I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed, better to have low expectations and get a nice surprise!!

How's everyone else doing? Anyone close to testing? I'm trying to wait until next Thursday which will be 15/16dpo, so definitely late for AF.

Effram · 06/02/2020 12:50

Sorry @lucymagooI can't see anything BUT it's so early I would test in a few days!

@butterflylove81 nothing passes to the embryo for the first couple of weeks so you are definitely safe to drink if you want to! 'drink til it's pink' was what a doctor said to me haha! Tbh even when pregnant, 1-2 units 1-2 times a week is still safe, but I don't think I know anyone who has actually fancied drinking at all in the first trimester, last time around I kept fancying a glass later in the pregnancy but after one mouthful I didn't want any more! I feel like our bodies are actually pretty good at keeping us safe.

Temp rise for me today, no positive OPK but def darker yesterday so I am assuming ovulation has now occurred... and the wait begins!

LynseyLou1982 · 06/02/2020 13:20

False alarm with the possible AF/Withdrawal bleed, back to nothing at all :-(

Ginger87 · 06/02/2020 16:49

Looks like I'm out for this month, after a few days of on/off spotting AF has arrived today. Ah well. At least I know I'm ovulating/getting AF which is a positive sign.

Here's to month two... but 🍷
